Huge Difference to our Maintenance Department
Comments: Excellent. There are so many great things to say and I did not even mention how great there support staff are!
Pros:
Ease of use, Excellent Contact Relationship Management, Ease of Assigning Work, Ease of Invoicing/Billing
Cons:
Ease of Reporting and Searching for Work Orders. There is not away for creating custom queries to be written if you are a SQL user. We cannot search by Work Order numbers and in some cases we have a list of particular ones. It would help if we could just type in the Work Order numbers.
Alternatives Considered: Fiix, Simpro and The HindSite Solution
Reasons for Choosing eWorkOrders CMMS: Almost no support of the Hindsite version. For several years, there was no communication or notification on if a work order was assigned, on-hold, cancelled, or completed. Attaching a picture to the work order was almost never used because it was to complicated. It was on-premise and no mobile functionality. And most importantly, Hindsite ability to turn work orders to invoices/bills was cumbersome. We had to manually deal with the Canadian Taxes and Material Markup. For AutoEntry, it was used to support the upload of completed work orders from Hindsite to Sage. Sage would then generate invoices. However, AutoEntry was limited and took 2 to 4 hours to process 50 to 100 work orders. It converted the Hindsite work order into a format for Sage and often it would leave out work order details which then had to be manually entered. Then after Sage created and emailed invoices, the invoices had to be manually stamped. All this went away with eWorkOrders.
Switched From: The HindSite Solution and AutoEntry
Reasons for Switching to eWorkOrders CMMS: eWorkOrders showed the most promises to deliver on what we needed and required especially around APi integration and handling Canadian Taxes.

Thank you for the wonderful review! Just FYI, if you want to pull up a specific work order by work order number, just go to the work order management/view screen and type the work order number into the work order number field at the top of the page and hit enter. If you need help, just give us a call.
Great option with great support
Comments: There are a lot of CMMS systems out there that are very costly. We needed something that we could customize for the many aspects of our company and make fit our culture. We operate water/sewer and power facilities and our staff wears many hats. One minute we're blue collar the next white. Crossing over from tools to records keeping is paramount for us. eWorkOrders was/is a great fit.
Pros:
I can not say there was one thing in eWorkOrders that I would point to and say that's why I would recommend it. I would say the flexibility offered was really what our small utility was looking for. Not to downplay the size as I think this would work on any level. Easy? That depends on the person setting things up and their ability to work with eWorkOrders staff. Open minded and flexible. There is always a learning curve but our staff has picked it up quickly.
Cons:
The flexibility can sometimes be a double edge sword. If your users find things can be manipulated they will request you cater to them in that aspect. This I find to be a management issue and not really a con but something that could be for some. Missing the true ability to use remotely off line. That's the biggest complaint I find but our staff are great at thinking outside the box and we may not necessarily be using the product as it was intended. Again not a con for us but could be for some.
Alternatives Considered: Trimble Cityworks, Caselle Utility, FASTER Web, Field Squared and Fiix
Reasons for Switching to eWorkOrders CMMS: Pricing and flexibility. A lot of companies have extremely high cost with long term SaaS contracts. Being a municipal utility with yearly budget constraints leaves us with limitations. The flexibility in the customization of the product was a huge factor as some software companies are fleet management, utility management, or building maintenance. We needed something we could mold all into one affordable package and our selection committee chose eWorkOrders. At this time i appears we made a good choice!
EWorkOrders. Rocks. Period..
Comments: To reiterate.. ABOVE ALL: INFORMATION PROFESSIONALS' CUSTOMER SERVICE/TECHNICAL SUPPORT HAS MADE THIS THE ABSOLUTE A#1 BEST SOFTWARE VENDOR RELATIONSHIP I'VE EVER HAD - BAR NONE.. We started off using EWorkOrders for one department and have been steadily configuring functions for use by various groups. In 3 short months it has become the center piece that our business model now functions through. And we're still expanding with it.. If your company is in need of a fantastic software package, with impeccable support, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND EWORKORDERS. UNEQUIVOCALLY.. BRAVO GUYS!
Pros:
Where do I begin?? I'll try to be brief.. EWorkOrders is a powerhouse of full featured functionality, to say the least. There is a robust amount of config options that are all extremely flexible - give or take a few minor caveats.. That being said, implementation/customization does not require a degree in rocket science. AND ABOVE ALL: THEIR CUSTOMER/TECHNICAL SUPPORT HAS MADE THIS THE ABSOLUTE A#1 BEST SOFTWARE VENDOR RELATIONSHIP I'VE EVER HAD - BAR NONE..
Cons:
Just to be fair: Although the guys at EWorkOrders are very available and more than willing to explain everything and anything that one would have questions about, a more in-depth Help section is most definitely needed.
KB Custom / Ework Orders
Comments: I really enjoyed E work Orders and like that they are on top of everything and fast service. They make you feel #1 and if there is a problem, they will go out of the way to fix it or customize the layouts to help. I like that they can help you during implementation and during that first 6 months of using the new Ework software they do not charge of have hidden fees when you need help.
Pros:
I like that it is customizable for you and the company needs. You can ask any customize and Ework will accommodate. Very fast service and even after hours and weekends.
Cons:
Not very much not to like its really good. If I had to suggest I would say for CMMS tracking Meters for Semi Trucks may need a little touch up but also depends on the company that is using the meters. For inventory view definitely warranty tracking needs to be an option Shelf Warranty vs In use Warranty
Alternatives Considered: Fishbowl and Fiix
Reasons for Choosing eWorkOrders CMMS: Company outgrew the software and they were not customizable to our needs.
Reasons for Switching to eWorkOrders CMMS: Custom layout to the company needs. Pricing. Options available for future expansions

Best product available for the money
Comments: The implementation of this system has allowed us to document the work we perform on our plant equipment both for maintenance and for safety records. We now can historically track all parts used and time spent on assets. We also have detailed records of the company assets as well. The inventory portion allows us to order and track inventory as well as accurately cost what we use and check vendor pricing.
Pros:
Creating and monitoring work orders is very intuitive and valuable. The ability to verify what work was done and what parts were used is priceless. The inventory and purchase orders are intuitive and a must as well. Being able to track on hand inventory and how it flows is extremely valuable.
Cons:
The system does need the ability to have the purchase order receiving accurately account for what is received when incomplete shipments are received and entered. There is no partial item count (ex. Received 2 of 3) on the purchase order record if there is a partial receipt. Yet...
Alternatives Considered: UpKeep
Reasons for Switching to eWorkOrders CMMS: We Choose eWorkOrders due to its superior ability to record the purchase and tracking of inventory. Also, the work order information was much more detailed and easy to use than anything out on the market. The tech support is amazing as well! They ALWAYS respond to any issue or suggestion that we have in a timely and professional manner.

A Chevy Corvette in a Ford Focus package
Comments: Positive to outstanding.
Pros:
This software has an ease of use and covers so much of what's needed. We run our business on it and it has performed flawlessly. It has so much "bang " for the buck. This software performs with or better than any other CMMS software on the market. The initial set-up and implementation was super fast and all questions arising from it being new to my team were answered within minutes of reaching out to customer support. If price was no object, we would still use eWorkorders. I have customized it with no issue and train new people all the time. Fantastic Software and Customer service!!!
Cons:
Cons are few. I would add a picture and document function into the original package and charge for space beyond a certain limit. Add a color option for text in the work order so you can highlight or bold things you want to stand out. Add a lock function to the notes. This would prohibit anyone changing a note and date for nefarious reason (CYA). That's about it.
Review of CMMS System by Connell Industries
Comments: Our deployment has been steady over the years and the support from the eWorkOrders staff has been unwavering to help us along. The reason is that the end user of eWorkOrders operates in a bureaucratic manner and there are times when things slow down or grind to a halt and then pickup again.
Pros:
The level of customer support was very good as well as the IT support when we requested custom work that needed to be done. All the personnel at eWorkOrders are very knowledgeable, responsive, and most of all pleasant to work with.
Cons:
I think in my experience, that the 75 character limitation on item descriptions has been a bit problematic plus the fact you can't have items with the same description even if they are in a different stockroom or location. However there is a work around that can be used.

CMMS - A Major Decision
Comments: Great to work with during our fact-finding process to determine what system to use. The eWorkOrders team has also being very available when there are questions on how to setup something - e.g. adding new equipment in a new satellite facility.
Pros:
1. I was familiar with the system at another facility that I consulted with. 2. Ease of Use: setup is easy as well as general maintenance of the system. 3. Features: many that most high cost have (and don't) 4. New features/enhancements being added monthly. 5. Our IT department was satisfied with the connection to our facility.
Cons:
1. I can't think of any other than allowing more customization of welcome screen.
Product Review
Pros:
I like the ease of use and ability to add photos
Cons:
I wish that the thumbnails of pictures were easier to open and larger

E Works Order for Healhtcare gets and A+
Comments: E Work Orders has enabled us to become a data driven department. Our prior CMMS software could only tell us how many work requests/PMs we did. E Work Orders opens up a whole new world of reports pulling data from as many or as few fields as needed. The speedometers and graphs on the Dashboard are great for a quick look. Josh in Technical Support has been absolutely awesome! I email him and he responds so quickly, he's always so helpful, giving me step-by-step instructions and is so patient with all of my questions! This software has transformed how we manage our work orders and preventive maintenance.
Pros:
From the administrative side to the technicians to the people submitting work orders is so user friendly!
Cons:
Honestly, anything that I have asked if E Work Orders if it can do, they have been able to accommodate. I've been very impressed.

Hi Cynthia, thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your experience with our CMMS. We are happy to hear you have had such great success with our work order management, reporting and dashboard features. Our goal is to always provide our customers with the highest quality CMMS and the best customer service.
Why choose eWorkOrders? It's the best one I found!
Comments: I needed a CMMS system that was simple enough to use for the hourly mechanic and production operator, but it needed to be sophisticated enough for the engineers, production supervisors all the way up to the plant manager. This product met my requirements perfectly.
Pros:
It is very easy to use. I demoed/tried three major CMMS software systems and hands down this is the best one on the market. I have been using the product since the middle of 2015. The have great customer support. Hundreds of reports to choose from and if you can't find a standard report from their list of reports, they will build a custom report for you.
Cons:
None. I know that sounds crazy but I cannot find any problems with their product. I use a combination of standard reports, custom reports and lots of data manipulation once I extract the data from the data base (ex. download data in excel format, sort, pivot, graph and finish with PFD reports).
eWorkOrder Review
Comments: Great experience. Everyone at Eworks was great to work with. If I had a question, I always got assistance right away. Also, they have a help section with videos for just about everything in the software and this really assisted me with some of our setups. We went from a manual pen and paper system to this, so it was bounds and leaps forward for our company. I loved this software.
Pros:
This software was almost plug and play. We spent about a month uploading all of our assets and PM procedures into the software and once the checklists and PM's were completed, we were rocking and rolling.
Cons:
I wish it had an interface to our ERP software. But, our ERP software was quite old. It would have made it more likely that we would have added the purchasing module to our package.
Easy to use
Comments: eWorkOrders is more than we need. I am sure that we will only scratch the surface. Anytime I have had a question or recomendation for change over these 5 years, they have always been accomodating and helpful. Customer service is great and the relationship has always been valued.
Pros:
Unity of Types. Relationships are unified throughout the user interface and share common threads that join them to assets, people and equipment, making queries intuitive and simple. New areas/employees/assets are easy to create by copying an existing area/employee/asset along with its common attributes, making minimal changes.
Cons:
The skin. It needs some round edges and a cleaner face. The look is a bit Windows 3.11 -sorry :)
Great Product and Team!
Pros:
e Work Orders is simple to use, easy to navigate, easy to learn, and has a customer support team that stands behind the product. My staff has not had any issues learning to use the mobile system, and efficiency of work has made substantial increases. e Work Orders takes the hassle out of work orders. The cloud based service saves IT cost, and provides access any time, any where. I would recommend the software to anyone.
Cons:
I have not found any specific negative aspects of this software.
Dependable Customer Service
Pros:
Customer service is timely and dependable. Pricing is competitive and reporting tools can be customized to your preference.
Cons:
Settings on the back end can be a little difficult to navigate
Alternatives Considered: Prism
Easy to use, easy for control and easy data retrieval
Comments: Excellent
Pros:
Cloud-based application, run in every device, easy and flexible reporting structure. Possibilities to save documentation (procedures, manuals) in the cloud and expansion to other tasks other than maintenance, ex: sanitation.
Cons:
Some of the reports I could not export in pdf I have to save as pdf. Not a big deal
Very Intuitive and Snappy Work Order System
Pros:
It's very quick, efficient, and intuitive. The best part for me are reports. Just a phone call and they'll make a custom report for anything I need.
Cons:
Doesn't really work for fleet vehicle mileage and parts tracking.
New User
Comments: Excellent customer service, when I have a question or concern they respond within hours not days. That's huge for me. They always care about what we the customer wants. Could not ask for better support. the product is super. Easy to get around and work with.
Pros:
It is super easy to learn and use. Very easy to setup as well.
Cons:
Too many options! Too many options to choose from but that could be a good thing!
eWorks saves the day
Comments: it's been great!
Pros:
ease of use, ease of making changes, ability to work with support and get questions answered and resolved
Cons:
none so far.

Hi Holly, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review about your experience with eWorkOrders. We are very happy to hear that you have had such great success with our CMMS.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE...CONSISTENTLY.
Pros:
It does everything that I want it to do and when I require a change the staff at eWorkOrders makes it happen every time.
Super Organized and detailed!
Pros:
I really enjoy how specific you can get with jobs. Tons on neat tools to help track and store important information.
Cons:
There is a learning curve to know the ins and outs.
My sincere gratitude
Comments: It's like hitting 5 out of 6 numbers on the lottery.
Pros:
Ease of use + great customer care. I always feel, probably from dealing with other Help Desks in my life, like I'm going to get the wrong person to be able to help with my issue. Like, "oh, you need to hang up, redial, and press the #2 option; we don't solve those problems here; bye" But that's never been the case when I call or email. I can probably count on 1 hand how many times I've needed to interface with [sensitive content hidden] and/or anyone else in the 4ish years we've been using the eWorks platform; and the customer care has been tremendous. Furthermore, I've never had to hang up and redial hitting #2; [sensitive content hidden] know's exactly what I'm talking about each time, and is well versed in solving the issue I'm having on my end.
Cons:
The only con I have is you changed the flag colors. They're kinda faint now, and I totally despise it. Oh, I'd also like to see a Green. Its super petty, and overly artistic....believe me, I know; but I'm just being honest.
