Once you are familiar with it and it's capabilities it's fairly good at giving you everything you need for a proper loan application and AUS findings. The thing I like most is that every company I have worked for has maintained a borrower summary screen which is basically information that translates over to different pages if filled out on this screen. Encompass' ability to transfer data from different tabs is very useful and helps speed up the loan app process. > > **Cons**: There's a lot that can change. For one, it's incredibly slow a lot of the time. There are always errors presenting themselves and although this can be user error, they should do a better job with making it user friendly across the board. Maybe take a lesson from Apple on how to build software. The system freezes a lot, each company has different versions of it because they are custom made and that can be confusing, there's just too much individual changes that can be made which makes makes the learning curve high. > > Overall, it's a great tool. I simply don't know of any better one out there right now despite its drawbacks but it has a lot of room for growth and simplicity. The interface is old-school and we should be able to go seamlessly from page to page.
