Value for the money is incredible

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Great, would recommend! Any sort of business needs accounting software, and your business should use Quickbooks. If given the choice, we would use this again.

Pros:

The seamless integrations, technical (both IT & Accounting) support, and intuitive user interface provides a great experience for automating a small or midsize operation

Cons:

It loads slowly -- I feel like Quickbooks constrains the amount of servers it dedicates to this platform. There are businesses that have far more transactions that we, and it still takes a while for reports or pages to render.

Not bad for small business, not for advanced or larger companies

3.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: Not bad for a young or growing company. Not an amazing system. If you have 15-20+ employees, are growing quickly, skus, inventory, etc I would suggest something more powerful from the beginning and avoid the switch later.

Pros:

This is not a bad program for smaller companies. This is decent for under 10 employees and smaller SKU quantities. Easy to learn and manage for new users. Would be good for most small service companies.

Cons:

Constant crashing and spending hours on the phone with support. Self "corrupting" company files are the worst. Not an issue with a real ERP system. The accounting basically eventually becomes un-trustable because as you enter data, random stuff corrupts and you cannot fix it without paying a professional to rebuild your entire company file. Awful.

The easiest and most accountable software ever seen.

Comments: Using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise makes your company work easier and faster and gives you all the ability to access everything you are building as company and as a businessman or manager.

Pros:

The fact that you can account for all your multiple projects and your profits. And also been able to know everything that is going on in your business by using the QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

Cons:

Having the fact that it will be challenging in managing all the multiple project at once and at the same time.

Hmmmm... Take some time to plan.

4.0 2 months ago New

Comments: If you are going to use QB Desktop Enterprise, PLEASE make sure you plan ahead for things such as inventory control issues like units of measure. How do you purchase your products vs how to you consume/sell them. We run the manufacturing edition, so we have experienced some challenges with this.

Pros:

Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise is good, there is no doubt about that. It is relatively straightforward to use and maintain. It has a lot of functionality and features that are very beneficial.

Cons:

Where do I start? One of the issues that we encounter is every time there is an update, it seems to break the Database Manger. We looked at switching to Quickbooks Online Advanced to make things easier, but it is VERY lacking in comparison. QB Desktop Enterprise, in most cases, is hosted locally. This leads to issues with server and maintenance. The features are very antiquated compared to other online options that are currently available.
