I hope Microsoft really focuses more on this software again.

2.0 3 years ago

Pros:

What I like most about this software is how inexpensive it is. When you buy a new computer that has Microsoft Windows on it, it is already ready to go for the user to use.

Cons:

What I like least is this product worked for a while but now it is back to not feeling safe when it is running. You really have to really look into this software because you have to put some effort into it.

Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (MDO) Reviews & Product Details

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: The arrangement is great, however not awesome, nothing is. They have done a generally excellent work, they simply have a little approaches. The manner in which their documentation is developed, drawing an obvious conclusion comprehensively, is something individuals discover hard and that is the explanation they call individuals like me since I realize how to come to an obvious conclusion. I rate Microsoft Defender for Office 365 the vast majority of.

Pros:

There should be an improvement in incorporating the item to work across various working frameworks, and to have better help for non-Microsoft document types. A portion of the significant highlights on the email side are against phishing, hostile to malware, and Safe Links. The good part is that you don't have to configure it, which is very convenient.

Cons:

There should be an improvement in coordinating the item to work across numerous working frameworks, and to have better help for non-Microsoft record types. We need a different permit, and we don't have a clue how to get the permit that is required.

Defender for Office 365, the basis protection

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Configure a Microsoft tenant with Defender for Office 365 (or MFA) is not an option. You have to use it to be safe. It's enabled by default in our Microsoft tenants we configure/sell. With DFO 365 P1 you takes away the security concerns away from the user and let Microsoft decide if it's safe to open attachments or URL's. That's the way you want it!

Pros:

With DFO 365 P1 you takes away the security concerns away from the user and let Microsoft decide if it's safe to open attachments or URL's. Very important license to get a higher Secure Micosoft tenant!

Cons:

Nothing, I'm fan of this license and it's very very cheap!

Integration with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype, and Word, Excel) is seamless. Microsoft also offers its users regular automatic updates and additional OneDrive storage.

Cons:

The product is affordable but upgrading is a bit costly.

Confidence

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: In my case I have been using Microsoft Defender since I had Windows 10 for the first time a few years ago and I never had to format or restore the equipment due to a virus infection. Microsoft Defender is an antivirus that performs excellently with its commitment always and when we separate what we download from the internet and there is a case of its warnings.

Pros:

It's great that for both Windows 8 and Windows 10 you don't need to install an antivirus because your operating system has one built in and cataloged as very good, with Microsoft Defender. Excellent antivirus and very easy to use, its menus are very intuitive divided into sections with relevant information that are easy to understand, constant updates and it includes a Firewall to keep yourself protected from the threats of the red, as well as the control of the accounts of User granting no permissions for ciertas actions. Microsoft Defender is everything you are looking for to be safe with your computer and to be an integrated program in the system we will not have any type of advertising and its notifications are not abusive as far as recursion is concerned. We practically don't know what's there.

Cons:

It's very strict around the uninstallation of the misma, it's impossible. Also enabling its features, it is not possible to disable all its functions when the user has amerite. There is no total control of the antivirus but it is understandable because it is integrated into the system.

A very practical solution to online threats

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Our systems administrators can get a little overwhelmed and can take a while before completely onboarding new devices on all our security protocols. It is therefore assuring to know that these devices already come secure with the protection provided by Defender on Windows.

Pros:

I like that it comes complete with the Windows and Office package I use. Therefore I get to avoid all the stress with software download and product licensing. For features, I like that it allows me to manually adjust its threat detection parameters to reduce the incidence of false alerts.

Cons:

Since it comes so well integrated with my operating system, I have very little control over update schedules and upgrades. Sometimes, this can be a bit confusing -- not knowing how potent a recent update is or whether or not I would need secondary protection.
