Reviews of SimplePay

Simplepay is simple to use
Comments: Very simple to use and integrate with Xero. Reliable and accurate.
Pros:
The Xero integration and South Africa specific nature of the software
Cons:
Pricing is a little high, especially when operating as a payroll administrator for a number of businesses
Alternatives Considered:
Fantastic cloud payroll software!
Pros:
This is a fantastic cloud payroll software! It is the easiest to use (no training required) and most efficient cloud app we have ever come across in our 25 years in business. we had Sage Payroll before for 15 years and it was absolute junk and pain, month after month, update after update. Customer Support rarely needed but great team, very fast to answer. Now integrated new 2024 Revenue ERR requirements. I would recommend to anyone doing payroll in Ireland
Cons:
I saw a review saying that it may be a bit light for some complex payroll needs? We have 16 staff and never had an issue in 10 years
SimplePay for Web Developers
Pros:
The initial setup process is very quick and easy. The interface is also quite simple which makes it easier to learn on how to use the software. It supports multi currencies.
Cons:
You can't fully customise the app, it has limitations, the same as other integrations of softwares. Sometimes the payroll processing speed can be slow.
SimplePay review by Daniel J. Ferreira
Comments: SARS/Payroll/SDL/UIF queries eliminated. Auto submission of UIF declarations. Claiming TERS was made easy (CSV files was created by the system). All company records since joining in 2012 available for reports.
Pros:
Really simple to use. Covers ALL payroll aspects. Ensures 100% tax compliancy. Low costs (charged per employee/month).
Cons:
Email-based problem solving could be quicker.
SimplePay
Comments: Time saving and cost efficient.
Pros:
Simplicity - the same says it all. The software is easy to navigate. The support is quick and and the team knows what they are doing. They are so friendly as well The payslips are well presented. The pricing is so reasonable and affordable for any type of organisation
Cons:
The software is for basic payrolls. I would not recommend it for complex payrolls.
Very impressed
Pros:
The fact that it is local and support are at the end of a phone if you need them, is crucial. It does all that you need and more.
Cons:
Very little to not like. A well rounded package that addresses our payroll needs
Not the best provider
Comments: If you are looking for basic payroll and reporting this is great easy to use. If you have any issue this is where you will spend far too much time trying to solve them.
Pros:
Very simple payroll software to use, allows for direct deposit and flexibility to make easy changes.
Cons:
SimplePay has one person running the website. If you have any issues running your payroll it takes a while to get a response back.
A good tool for smaller organization
Comments: The tool does the job if you're a smaller company, and quite simple to use.
Pros:
The interface is simple, straight forward and user-friendly. This goes the same for a lot of the other functions (ie. setting up employees, etc.). Pulling out reports is also pretty easy to use.
Cons:
Some of the features are still relatively manual which can be difficult to scale up if your organization is growing quickly.
