INFOR - Supply chain planning

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: INFOR is really good ERP software. I like the customer support and all my issues were resolved by the customer support team. I enjoy working in INFOR applications.

Pros:

We are using INFOR products for more than 4 years . INFOR is PAAS software which makes easy for application support teams to support the client applications. Our client is a transportation company and they use INFOR for Asset Management, Supply Chain & for Warranty and Maintenance. The UI of INFOR is very user friendly. Reporting and Report scheduling is extremely easy. Customer support is outstanding. INFOR is also supported on mobile devices. They do regular product maintenance and upgrades which makes the software more stable and bug free.

Cons:

Debugging of the issues is difficult since it provide less control to the users who are supporting the applications. For most of the issues related to database, we have to go to INFOR Extreme for the assistance.

Great SCM software

4.0 6 years ago

Comments: SCM traceabilty for the organization from different departments.

Pros:

gives visibilty of good manufactured from beginning to end. PO processing from beginning to end to invoicing customers.

Cons:

Users require a lot of training. Incorrect data entries can flaw system to and makes it hard to trace. A lot of administrative data entry is required. There are lots of different layers of information that needs to be learned and it can be complicated. Setting the FG part IDs to require a lot of time and making changes does not capture revisions previously made to bill of materials which can impact tractability if someone or someone new wanted to know why a change was made.

Great system for first-timers

3.0 6 years ago

Pros:

It's relatively cheap and straightforward out of the box. If this is your first ERP/MRP and you don't have an existing system/data to migrate over, this might be a great option.

Cons:

You get what you paid for with regards to customization, scripting, migration of data and technical expertise on behalf of the infor team.

Great software with a learning curve

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

This software is really great for both finance and supply chain management. There are a lot of features, and it is much easier than the software we used to use.

Cons:

There aren't a lot of training documents available, so learning how to best use Infor can be difficult.

Very deep experience including tons of features

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

Infor has thought of everything. Everything you can think of, they already have support for. In any situation where we needed a feature, it was either already included or in the works. An incredibly deep program.

Cons:

At times, the program can be too deep. It is difficult to learn and nearly impossible to master. Not always a bad thing, but there is a rather large learning curve.
