It did a good job at this, to a point. For invoicing you needed to sign up for payment processing - in US base terms - even if we had no intention of using the payment processing. From what we saw, credit\\debit transactions could be processed but not e-mail money transfers. The US feature was available. We are a Canadian company\!\! > > **Cons**: We did not like that we had to provide a SIN number to use the invoicing feature, even if we had no intention of using the built in payment method. This was a deal breaker. It could not provide a simple report with all the notes on each time entry. We needed to open each time entry to see the full notes. So now even the time entry was not useful to us for our billing. Providing the owner's SIN to US company for a feature we did not want became the deal breaker. There is no need to collect my SIN. If that is US law, then you need to talk to your legislators because that is total nonsense. We didn't even want to use the payment feature. We collect our receivables just fine thank you\! Financial Cents could have chosen to have the invoice feature with an extra cost but they chose to include it and be limited to their collection process. Another way to make money. Kind of sneaky and not above board. The time tracking became useless with the report, and invoicing was a no go due to requiring a SIN. Dropped this in 3 weeks. > > Easy to get started. Screen displays can't add\\change columns making what I saw, what they want me to see not what I wanted to see. Would have stayed using time tracking if we could have better reports about client billing especially the notes as that determines invoicing descriptions.
