If negatives were pros I could write a book. I do Not recommend, there's a lot better options out there. > > **Cons**: customer service, Questionnaire, UI, everything about their billing practices, sooooooo many emails about billing and 120 days in advance with no notice of subscription increases. Will up your cost every year but not give any added benefits or services that are useful. > > We are required to have a Complyworks account ( a subsidiary of veriforce). They are the worst Prequalification site I have ever encountered and I use a lot of them including, ISNetworld, ContractorCheck and others. CW is by far the worst of the bunch. With little to no customer support. A call back will take at least 12 hours and they will call outside of regular business hours. To wait on hold is at least an hour. They will tell you everything is automated and that's why you get 10000 emails a week. They will bill you 120 days in advance and up your base price every year without any explanation or notice. Since they do not have a contracts with you they will say you do not have a contract with us it's with your clients and it's a requirement that you use us. So they have you and there's nothing you can do. Our base subscription has risen over a 1000$ over 2 years and was raised another 525$ This year. We have had no changes to our subscription, they have offered no added benefits to the site and there's no value to the subscription other than being able to complete the work your already contracted to do. If you are a company that used subcontractors PLEASE use any other site than this. and if your required to use these guys i suggest that you talk to your client and let them know you do not like Complyworks. encourage them to use ISN or any other site. ----- ### "Worse now that they merged\!" — 1.0/5 > **Yvonne** | *May 4, 2021* | Oil & Energy | Recommendation rating: 0.0/10 > > **Pros**: When it was just PEC they were mediocre, now they are just plain horrible to deal with. Like most, absolutely nothing comes to mind. > > **Cons**: Not user friendly. And don't get me started on their "customer support" which is worse than the product. And their billing department is the worst by far\! I deal with multiple safety reporting organizations, but this one is the worst in every department. > > They send you an invoice six months ahead. Which you can't really pay because you don' t know if you are going be working for that O\&G company in six months\! Especially these days. Then they proceed to call you and email you to death - to the point that I don't even read their emails and our receptionist screens the calls. Even my husband knows how bad they are from listening to our calls when we are at lunch, etc. Our Director of Operations apologizes to me UP FRONT when he has to transfer a call or an email - because he knows it is going to be an ordeal that ruins my day. Oh, and after sending the invoice and pestering the devil out of you about paying it MONTHS ahead of the due date, they decide to change the price on the invoice?\! I have been doing accounting for almost 35 years and I have NEVER seen an accounting department run like this. You have to answer all of the questions. you have to detail where to find the answers. you have to upload your policy for every question. then they are so lazy that they want you to "lasso" each answer. they get paid for nothing. On the PEC side, it doesn't always notify you if something is rejected and when something is rejected, you have to call to find out why. > > Worst customer service ever\!\! I have to interact with a lot of similar organizations...ISN, Avetta, TPS, etc. etc. Veriforce/PEC does not return phone calls. Well maybe 1 time in 10. I currently have 3 messages in to them over the course of 2 weeks...no call back yet. Also, watch your bills. They send out bills that "oh, we didn't meant to do that" and they are grossly unfair in their pricing for certain circumstances. Clearly, they do not care if their clients are affected by the pandemic, because they won't help in any reasonable way.
