> **Pros**: The link between Vista ERP and ProjectSight is nice. The Trimble Connect Mirror application is shaping up to be a good replacement to Trimble Connect Sync in a few more months.

> **Cons**: - No portfolio-wide form templates
- Form Templates must be updated one-by-one per project when a new update is made. In Autodesk we had the Forms library which allowed us to have a master template that can be edited and have its permissions re-scoped if needed.
- It's possible to bypass file locking in Microsoft Office files (Excel, word, ppt) via Checkin/Checkout by opening the file in the web version.
- ProjectSight does not have the capability to create PDF forms. It only supports the creation of native forms. Many forms have needed to be converted to the Native Form format to be compatible with ProjectSight, but this causes problems for forms with tables, calculated fields, and overall user-friendliness.
- The iOS app does not currently have the ability to enable overlays between two drawings. This functionality is currently limited to the web application. This was previously possible for us in Autodesk.
- ProjectSight’s Photos module allows users to upload photos, but those photos cannot be linked to records such as Issues, RFIs, or Daily Reports. Since photos often provide critical context, this limitation significantly reduces the module’s usefulness. Additionally, the iOS app does not include the Photos module, preventing users from viewing project photos on mobile devices. This was previously possible in Autodesk.

> We came to ProjectSight from Autodesk as a bundle offering from Trimble. Our experience has been negative in almost every way. Several users have reported inefficiencies in working with files exclusively via Web since Sync is inefficient and Mirror is in Beta. Trimble's Idea Portal has gotten lots of great feedback from its users, but there doesn't appear to be enough movement from the ProjectSight team to implement these changes into the program. Some ideas have been opened for at least 3 years with no feedback from Trimble. My job is to analyze construction management platforms, and between Procore, Forma, and ProjectSight, the latter will be the last dog to the bowl unless they can quickly adapt to the pace of its competitors.

> **Pros**: Our firm recently switched from Procore to ProjectSight.  Biggest reasons for changing was due to cost savings as well as integrations with other Trimble products.  For our field management staff, ProjectSight does everything that we really need it to do.

> **Cons**: ProjectSight team and Trimble as a whole can do better on the customer support end.  We have had numerous issues since implementing ProjectSight and I don't feel I have a contact to get these issues resolved in a timely manner.  Additionally, I don't feel that the end client doesn't have much say for future development.  Even for basic fixes, I am pushed to submit to the idea portal.  This idea portal feels like shouting into a black hole, look at the top 10 upvoted items and the newest item is 2 years old.  The oldest is 7 years old.

> My overall experience with ProjectSight has not been positive.  I don't want to say that it has all been negative, but it was a very difficult transition from Procore.  Our end users were not a big fan of the change and multiple technical issues did not help that process.  As our firm's lead for the software conversion, I also feel very unsupported by both the Trimble team and ProjectSight team.  At this point I do not really have a clear contact to use for overall product support.
