Alternatives Considered:
Good Cloud Security Posture Management tool
Comments: Overall, C3M has a good market capture because of its innovative technology and useful alerting mechanisms.
Pros:
I like how C3M integrates well with other tools like SIEM and allows ease of deployment for capturing useful information about current cloud security posture. Very easy to manage dashboard with crucial information as per defined security policy of the company
Cons:
C3M is sometimes buggy. It can give false positives for cloud based resources. Additionally, it can alert for issues but not prevent it from happening.
Cloud Security and Compliance Management made easy
Comments: Misconfigurations, oversight by employees, and the time and effort required to manage security in cloud and to ensure compliance with security standards has been our biggest challenge. C3M has made all this easy and has been saving us several man hours every month.
Pros:
Easy to deploy and use, very intuitive. Makes security checks and compliance very easy. Definitely worth every penny. Fantastic support by their team. They have C3M Gold Standards which we are planning to implement as part of our vendor management to ensure our vendors are aligned to the organisations security maturity.
Cons:
They are limited to AWS for now, but understand will be going multiple cloud by March.
