Cyberimpact has amazing versatility

Comments: Cyberimpact has helped us to become CASL compliant in our email marketing strategies. The program is so easy to use which has resulted in an increase in the frequency of our campaigns.

Pros:

Cyberimpact has many useful components. The program has templates to help us achieve professional looking emails while still allowing us to customize them to suit our needs. The program does an excellent job of tracking statistics which allows us to monitor the effectiveness of our email campaigns.

Cons:

The program takes some time to learn as with anything of value. In this respect the chat service offered has been extremely helpful.

Great tool from Quebec!

Comments: Fast, easy to setup and then to use to send our campaigns. The support team is there to help us whenever we need.

Pros:

It's easy to use. We have a lot of options available for design and there are other tools that we will use in the futur like automated marketing. + it's a local business!

Cons:

I already used another system so I had to learn how to use this one but it was pretty easy and fast.

Best customer service team

Comments: Great, anything we don't know how to do, we can ask or Google the answer and the answer is clear and easy to understand.

Pros:

I like the analytics, we use it a lot and have been increasing our use of it this year and will continue to use it going forward. I wasn't working with my department when we first got Cyberimpact, so I've had to learn as I go. Luckily, Cyberimpact has by far the best, most responsive, knowledgeable customer service team/interactive chat I have ever used. Anything I don't know, or am not sure of, I can ask and they explain it in simple terms/plain language. They've even stayed online with my team to walk us through and help us clean up our account when we weren't sure what we were doing to clean it.

Cons:

It's not always the most intuitive in terms of clicking around and knowing what things mean - like groups, updating contacts vs adding new ones BUT they have a great FAQ/article section and responsive chat, so that one con is cancelled out.

Good capabilities for the price

Pros:

The ease of use. I am not much of a techy but am able to use Cyberimpact with little trouble.

Cons:

That I can't set a standard font and font colour to use on all my mailings, I have to manually change it all the time, if I change links in a block to a certain colour, then add a new link - it does not automatically change to the colour of the rest of the links. I sometimes wish there were some more block options.

Pros:

I love that Cyberimpact is a Canadian company, and partnered with the CFIB (Canadian Federation of Independent Business). They understand and have implemented strict compliance policies for the Canadian anti-spam Act which you don't get through most of the better known email marketing services. The platform is easy to use and has great reporting and statistics for your mailings. I use Cyberimpact to send out our monthly newsletter and birthday discount coupons, which are fairly basic templates, but there are many features that could take my mailings to another level if I wanted.

I haven't had any negative experiences with Cyberimpact

The feature I liked least about Cyberimpact is the lack of a more straightforward bulk unsubscribe option. Having a more seamless way to handle large-scale unsubscribes would save time and make the platform even more user-friendly

Cyberimpact: Handy as a Canadian company, but not the best email software out there

Comments: Overall, Cyberimpact isn't my favourite email newsletter tool, but it gets the job done. I think there are more sophisticated options out there if you aren't restricted by data storage compliance.

Pros:

Cyberimpact is good if you're looking for a Canadian email newsletter software. Their support team is quite helpful and responsive. It's my understanding that they will actually take feedback and suggestions and consider implementing them, which is reassuring and beneficial. It's not just a "thanks for the feedback"; they actually seem to consider it for the betterment of their consumer experience. Cyberimpact also allows you to set up teams under an admin account, which is helpful in our organization. We have a few units who run their own newsletters but they are not communicators, so it's nice to have the opportunity to build out templates for them and let them populate them. I also appreciate Cyberimpact's payment structure. It's flexible depending on the number of contacts (more contacts = higher price). We cut our list down in the summer, so we get some cost savings by doing so.

Cons:

I find Cyberimpact extremely finicky and annoying to use in terms of building out emails. The drag and drop content blocks can be cumbersome if you have long sections. I wish there was a better way to edit content and copy; it feels more monotonous than it needs to be. I also wish you could save a complete draft, email, subject line, preview, the whole shebang. Currently you can only save the email body, and then the subject/preview are added once it's about to be sent. The whole process of building out and sending our bi-weekly newsletters feel like it takes longer than it needs to because of the editing features.

Comments: Very positive. Switching email tools is a big decision since out list is an important source of sales, but it was worth it.

Pros:

Makes compliance easy, plus great deliverability.

Cons:

The naming of various features (e.g. lists, segments) differs from other email tools I’ve used before and took some getting used to.

Great marketing tool that you will love using

User interface with a clear menu and easy to search and navigate. The marketing automation section is also very user friendly even for the unexperienced.

Cons:

Not quite something I didn't like, but mostly something I enjoy having on platforms and services I use is a dark mode which unfortunately CyberImpact doesn't have, for now at least

Pros:

I love the team. Whenever you get stuck creating some email marketing scenarios, they are available to jump on a call and brainstorm with you on how to reach your desired outcomes.

Cons:

I wish their HTML editor was easier to use, but as far as I understand, that's already in the plans.

Easy to use and performing

Pros:

The interface is super easy to use and the platform is mature enough to have multiple scenarios. Service was great when we reached out to get a demo and information on the API.

Cons:

The scope of use case is somehow limited. For instance sending notifications to app users weren’t fully available but I hear it’s coming.

Cons:

The platform might not have all the features compared to the big players of the industry, but it provides all the core features I need (emailing, automation, segmentation, etc.) at a very reasonable price so I know I am not paying for features that I don't use.

Makes life easier

Comments: Cyberimpact is easy to use and the customer service is quick and responsive when I need help!

Pros:

It's easy to manage email lists and book out full email campaigns so I don't have to think about it once it's done. I love using the templates to quickly make our regular mailings

Cons:

The thing I liked the least was not having a built-in spell check. But thanks to the help chat, I was told to add a Chrome extension that does the job perfectly - saving me lots of back and forth for minor typos etc.
