Pros:
I keep track of multiple personal trainers in one portal. Clients book online. Clients can process their personal training payments online. Power Diary shows every personal trainers available time slots.
Cons:
Need note security. One personal trainer should not be able to see another personal trainers client notes.

Thanks for the great review Jordan! With the Notes access - if you go to Setup > Users and untick "Access all Client Session Notes" for your users then they won't be able to access other PT's client notes. - Damien
Power Diary: Customizable and Affordable, the complete package
Pros:
I love that I was able to completely customize my notes to how I practice, and there are many more customizable features that I will continue to integrate to make running and managing my chiropractic practice easier and more efficient. The customer service to get me going quickly and answer questions I have has been outstanding. Power Diary is the complete package, a great practice management product with great customer support and affordable too!
Cons:
I can't really think of any negatives about Power Diary other than maybe that it has so many features that I felt a little overwhelmed to start. But that's to be expected when new to any program. A Power Diary representative was able to help me get going quickly.

Works ok - until it doesn't work - usually after an "improvement"
Comments: Assessed as the "best of a bad lot" when researching for purchase. Nothing has improved to alter that assessment. (Maybe its time to have another look). Certainly have resisted further Power Diary integrations, and using wider functionality - reliance on an organisation that doesn't care for quality is scary enough even with the limited functionality.
Pros:
Easy to use for a lot of things - eg keeps the client that has been most recently used in one admin function at the top of the drop down for the next (different) function
Cons:
Bugs introduced with "improvements", that can impact the reputation of the Practice as they are visible to patients/clients (eg in communication templates). Clearly no regression testing, or if so, it is slipshod.Customer support - we have tired of being told stuff was fixed when it is clearly not. Nowadays we don't waste our time raising issues for most thingsThe reporting options are weakDoesn't manage "Couples" as a client well - but no competitors do eaither
Everything I need and nothing more!
Pros:
I love how easy it is to use the features. Theren't aren't a bunch of bells and whistles - just what I need to for this field. It's pretty easy to figure out how to use the platform even without using the tutorials. I use it for scheduling and for EMR and my Telehealth platoform.
Cons:
It's a little difficult managing the form templates and other templates you might use.

PowerDiary Review
Pros:
I like the user interface. I also really like that I can do everything in one system, including email communication. I don't manage the program but it seems that it is highly customizable, which is not always an option in other EHR systems.
Cons:
Sometimes it takes a while to load and get started. Once it does, everything runs smoothly. More importantly, I do miss the app from our old EHR. It is ideal to be able to have that accessible but I can access it via webpage on my phone browser and that works just fine.

Power diary is very user friendly, with lots of wonderful and helpful features
Cons:
Compared to Cliniko, I think cliniko presentation is a little nicer; however, overall I prefer all the additional features that Power diary has to offer

The ease of use, has improved productivity.
Cons:
When applying a note or comment to an invoice, I do not like that the receiver can not view these. If we have sent an invoice multiple times (we record every time it is sent in this comment section), it would be beneficial if the receiver could see this as well.

Comments: love it! It has met all my needs and the customer service when first starting was so helpful!

I love that I am able to do everything in one place, it keeps me organized and on track with things that can be overwhelming with business
Cons:
I wish each invoice could be done individually based on my accounting system -I wish I could use Square for payments -I wish I could have the client screen get small (like zoom) when I am moving between windows

Pros:
It is easy to use and allows you to organise appointments easily. I like that it sends out automated reminders - SMS and email.
Cons:
The only flaw I've discovered is that public holidays aren't automatically in the diary.

Comments: Overall Power Diary is meeting the needs of our business however we have had to make a large number of changes to our processes and way of working with our clients to accommodate Power Diary. There are a number of functionalities that we would like to see.
Pros:
- Visually appealing - Ability to produce multiple reports - Simple and easy to use calendar and client set up - Client online booking portal - Medicare processing - Data consistancy
Cons:
- Limited functions available on the calendar - cannot view single day of the week for multiple weeks - Unable to limit who access notes and profile information - anyone with can access client notes and view client profiles regardless if the client is allocated to them or not - Unable to create an overall number of sessions used in a session pack per year - this is still tracked manually

I LOVE using Power Diary! It is user friendly, I have been able to automate lots of paperwork stuff and it just makes my intake process so smooth. I have definitely recommended Power Diary to my fellow colleagues.

Pros:
The ability for clients to book and manage their own appointments, sending reminders for appointments, ability to access telehealth for video session work.
Cons:
Needing to get the administrator to open up appointment slots.

Power Diary Has Alleviated The Anguish We Endured, Benefiting Both Us And Our Patients
Comments: Prior to using Power Diary I was using systems that have several disjointed parts that were not necessarily moving together in sync. Some of them seemed to be inconveniently cobbled together.Since using Power Diary, we have not seen the need for a "receptionist" or be stuck to a desk in order to manage the practice.My overall experience with Power Diary is, in so many ways, like an ongoing breath of fresh air.
Pros:
1. Power Diary is feature-packed, yet very easy to use.2. The booking system is efficient and yes, effective.3. The Notes Template has come in handy, especially considering that we can customize them to our specific situations.4. One of our clients said the Client Portal is "uncluttered and easy to use". The other said it's a "massive improvement compared to what we had subjected them to previously".
Cons:
1. I live in a country where Stripe as a payment gateway is not used. The only payment gateway Power Diary integrates with is Stripe and as a result my clients can't pay with their credit cards via Power Diary.2. The Client Portal is and works great. It would be more useful for me and my clients if it could also have a functionality for client specific updates. Currently it is only limited to booking appointments, checking invoices and "booking classes". 3. Limited Integration. Would have loved to see ability to use more integrations.

New to Power Diary
Comments: Main feature that we liked is the integration with Xero which enables us to be exact with our accounts and in a time efficient manner.
Pros:
Offers a comprehensive platform for client management, reports and accounts.
Cons:
Main feature that is lacking is the inability to select diary slot timings for individual practitioners. We offer 5min reviews to hour long appointments between different practitioners. The one size fits all for all practitioners makes it difficult to see some of the diaries with shorter time slots.Also, when you print out the diary, it has client data that on it that means the print out has to be shredded after, apart from snipping, there is no way to not have this data on the printed diary.
Simple to set up and use and saves a small business manager lots of valuable time..
Comments: It is a fantastic program for a small business that is not used to setting up and using an online program. It saves us a lot of time and manages everything l need in one program.
Pros:
I was able to set up the whole program to suit my business without too much trouble and have been able to learn and add things along the way. All my employees find it easy to use as well.
Cons:
The session pack system is very handy but does not work properly for my business.

I used Power Diary at work and learned that it's really practical and useful. So I am using it now for my private practice too.
It has been fantastic.
Pros:
1. keeping records - so easy to follow up as all the records are there under each client's account. 2. easy to use - I do induction sessions for new starters about using Power Diary and find it really easy to use from the day 1. 3. support - easy access to support team and be able to suggest fore better features. Flexibility is something I really appreciate.
Cons:
Not much to mention. If I can ask, I wish I can change the name of fields to suit our practice.

Comments: It has definitely helped manage my client files and is a huge improvement on a manual system. The ability to create a note template has saved me heaps of time and improves the quality of my note taking. Time has also been saved by being able to process Medicare claims online and the integration with Stripe has helped especially with cancellation fees and when adolescents attend without the paying parent.
Pros:
Best aspects are integration with Medicare and Stripe. Also the ability to create templates is really handy. Being able to create a template for notes is also a big bonus.
Cons:
Limitations on the fields you can merge in templates, the reports you can create and data you can export. Also, the online booking functionality is quite limited. It would be great if the client was able to complete intake information directly into the system. I currently have to use a separate piece of software to generate an online form to capture all of this information and then manually enter it into the system.

Thanks for the review Amanda. You'll be pleased to know that online forms are on the way! With data exports if you go to Tools > Data export you can export any (or all) data from your account. Similarly, the Reports you can customise the data to be included in a report, and then sort, group, export to excel or print the report. If you click on Help in your account and search 'Reports' you'll see some How To articles on this. We can also take you through a live one-on-one tutorial on these features if that'd be helpful. Growing our business with Powerdiary
Comments: Our business relies very heavily on powerdiary, for diaries, client appointments, billing, medicare, reporting. The automatic SMS reminders are a great facility for clients (they rely on them to remind them about their appointments) and great for us - people are more likely to cancel when they receive the SMS rather than not attend, or cancel at the last minute. The system has been very reliable. It is extremely rare for the system to be down.
Pros:
Easy to use. When there are issues, there is a friendly person at the end of the phone or email to assist in resolving issues (such as when we've accidentally deleted data, support with reports, not knowing how to do a particular function). The software is constantly being improved with additional functionality based on feedback.
Cons:
There are times when there are functions I would like that are not available, such as an 'undo' function, especially if I've just deleted a series of appointments accidentally instead of deleting a single appointment. However when comparing this product with other products, it has many more functions than many of their competitors at a more reasonable cost.
