I finally found my unicorn

Comments: Positive all around. Very satisfied with my VMs - and I am really hard to please when it comes to computers. Everything runs smoothly and as fast as I expect.

Pros:

- Flat pricing with no "gotchas" for storage/bandwidth/etc. - Great performance for knowledge work - Relatively affordable - Support is available quickly during work hours and is very helpful

Cons:

Having to log into another app to log into my VM is a pain. However, this sort of serves as a VPN proxy.

Alternatives Considered: Microsoft Azure and Amazon WorkSpaces

Reasons for Switching to V2 Cloud WorkSpaces: They provided exactly what I needed at a reasonable price. It is actually surprisingly hard to find a product like what I was shopping for, and what is there has variable costs that inevitably increase sharply over time along with needing a separate IT company to manage it for me.

V2 Cloud - Remove the worry

Comments: Everything just WORKS now.
Seamlessly.
And when it doesn't, V2 Cloud have removed the annoyance of solving the problem.

Pros:

Previously we had our own dedicated servers. It seemed like an endless process of worry and maintenance. Since we moved to V2 Cloud, we have been able to focus more on our business, and less on maintenance on the servers we rely on. When issues do arise, the V2 Cloud staff have been prompt, reliable, and effective. They have even notified us when we were not aware of issues, and they usually have these issues corrected without us even knowing there was a hiccup.

Cons:

Are there any cons to working with V2 Cloud? If there are, I am not aware of them. We regard V2 Cloud as an essential service to our operations, and we are extremely pleased with the performance. Sure... I could nit pick. In life, things don't always run smoothly. But honestly, the issues we have had do not compare to the headaches we experienced prior to V2.

V2 and Lacerte

Pros:

Easy RDC setup that really it. Speed was good.

Cons:

Their site says they support many softwares etc, not true. They didn’t even know solutions to fix my tax software or how to use TS video to have Zoom meetings on your V2 desktop.

Alternatives Considered: Ace Cloud Hosting

Reasons for Switching to V2 Cloud WorkSpaces: I didn’t. I left add they are incompetent at fixing problems.

So easy to use and helpful

Comments: Overall, I am very satisfied with V2. I have the peace of mind knowing that I can work from anywhere if needed. I seldom have any technical issues. On the one time I had to contact customer service, they were very helpful.

Pros:

This cloud software is so user friendly, I sometimes forget I am not working on my own computer desktop. The way V2 works with my printer and download function makes it a seamless process to save PDF reports locally or easily print checks from my software (located on V2 workspace).

Cons:

The only problems I have come across so far is that the download feature doesn't seem to like Excel. When I try to download the excel files from V2, it doesn't always work and I have to mess with the file type in how I save it. Also, the clipboard function doesn't work across V2 and my local computer. That is not a big deal, but it would be nice to copy and paste an address from a local invoice to my accounting software on the V2 cloud.

V2 Cloud Review after using for 2+ years

Comments: Excellent experience using V2 Cloud and best price I could find.

Pros:

Excellent support response when I had questions or needed help with troubleshooting an issue. Great GUI for managing the user sessions and file storage.

Cons:

I did not find any major issues with the software. It always worked for my customers.
