Comments: It’s been wonderful! Transfer was smooth! Great customer service!

Pros:

I love that it is geared specifically towards our industry

Cons:

That there isn’t a way for clients to add their credit card when I schedule them (like a link they have to complete before the appointment time is confirmed) and a text system to remind them their appointment starts in 15mins and they can check in. Then stylist can say they are ready for the client via text too

Such a wonderful investment each month!

Comments: My experience with gloss has been amazing and I can’t think of ever leaving. 10/10 recommend businesses to use Gloss!

Pros:

What I love most about GlossGenius is the ease of use and protection that is offers its subscribers. I am subscribed to the gold tier and recently had an ex client try to dispute a policy offense. GlossGenius notified immediately and assured me that they were going to handle everything on behalf of me. And they did and I won the dispute!

Cons:

My only con would be not having a late/last minute cancellation option to charge that would show on the customers detailed receipt. You usually have to make it into a service or charge the client as a labeled no show

Avoid Gloss Genius at All Costs!

Comments: Awful.
In the beginning it was rocky, the middle was okay, the end was awful.
They only care about protecting themselves legally.
If you go through their terms of service, they mention that members cannot file a class action lawsuit against them. Now why would they ever have that in their terms of service?

Pros:

I have always had issues with Gloss Genius.

Cons:

I read on the Better Business Bureau that they sell your information. I have noticed that I received a series of charges on my business bank account. Three of them so far, I stopped payments on all three before it went through. However, I am asking myself how they have access to my account. I never given my account number to anyone else but Gloss Genius. I implore you all to check your accounts. Make sure there are no fraudulent charges that shows up. Recently, they asked me to verify my account, after I sent all the information to them. They shut me down, and are offering zero support to rectify it. Something is fishy about this company.

Love our Gloss Genius!

Comments: I enjoy the easy checkout on all forms of platforms from cell phone and the desktop versions.

Pros:

The easy ability for clients to access their schedules and the stylist having assigned services for their own needs in their business. The separation between the staff and the clients is a nice feature.

Cons:

The constant breakdown of service or updates at the same time of business and not sending out any notifications on the “updates”. I don’t like that the staff can access the payroll as well as see reports if the gloss is logged into through the salon using the desktop version as well as checking out clients.

Comments: I love gloss genius! The support for users but also the ease my clients have while using it is so nice!

Pros:

I love that I’m able to schedule my clients while also allowing them the capability to book themselves. I love that I’m able to customize my site as well!

Cons:

I’d like to just click the day/time on the calendar to create an appointment rather than having to hit the plus.
