Pros:

Cons:
Unable to Deploy Windows Feature Versions without ISOs
Alternatives Considered: Microsoft 365
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: The product has consistently proven to be reliable, offering a wide range of features that become even more valuable with deeper exploration. One standout aspect is its ability to seamlessly fetch both third-party updates and Microsoft updates, consolidating them into a single, streamlined platform. In the three years I've used this product, it has delivered 100% performance without fail, every single day
Unified Endpoint Management Solution
Comments: Endpoint Central is a powerful tool for IT administrators looking to streamline endpoint management and enhance security across the organization. I appreciate the wide range of features that cover almost all aspect of the endpoint management including patch management, software deployment, asset management, remote control and mobile device management.
Pros:
Endpoint Central allows us to manage servers, laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets from a single console which is highly efficient for organizations with diverse device ecosystems. Endpoint Central offers platforms for managing legacy and modern devices.
Cons:
Due to macOS's high level of security, Endpoint Central is not entirely capable of managing MacBook Pro and iMac devices. Lack of historical reports that provide information about configurations that we have defined and deployed to the devices via Endpoint Central.
Alternatives Considered: Hexnode UEM and JumpCloud Directory Platform
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: I choose Manage Engine Endpoint Central because of its comprehensive feature set, ease of use and cost-effectiveness.
Updated Review after 7 mo We won’t renew annual subscription
Comments:
Not extremely pleased with Endpoint Central Cloud UEM. For what we ultimately use in the suite we could’ve saved money and used either a different ManageEngine / ZoHo product or a different software altogether.
I’m not meaning to sound so hard on them, but I’m just not happy with what we got for the cost. We won’t be renewing the annual subscription.
Pros:
Documentation is very helpful, customer service is generally very good and prompt at answering. There are a lot of included features in endpoint central uem edition (we used endpoint central uem cloud). Windows OS features work often. Remote access feature is good. Patch management works.
Cons:
Limited features for MacOS and extremely few for Linux although some problems may be limited by the OS. Enrollment was a pain for Mac and Linux and provided few benefits. (No MdM for Linux. MDM required and included for macOS, but provided few benefits.) Advertising on the ManageEngine website and Endpoint Central website promised way more than it delivers. Especially for multi OS features. Very windows-centric.
Alternatives Considered: Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Jamf Pro is way too expensive. Intune doesn’t play nicely with non-Microsoft windows os. Intune would have too limited functions. Jamf is a big question mark because the cost is too prohibitive.
Manager Engine Endpoint Central
Comments: Overall I am happy with the product because OS Deployer works great.
Pros:
We mainly use it for patch management and OS Deployment.
Cons:
Patching process can be a bit flaky sometimes and hard to know why it failed on a certain computer
Alternatives Considered: SmartDeploy
Reasons for Choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Cheaper option and included OS Deployer.
Switched From: SmartDeploy
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Price and features that are available. Easy to setup.

Solid Endpoint Management platform
Comments: So far, so good. Be very careful to enable tampering protection on agents, because if anything goes south with the server and you are not able to restart from a backup, you will have to engage with the support in order to correctly register agents.
Pros:
Its extensive range of features, which may also be confusing at first, but definitely a plus when it comes to a fully-integrated solution. It's apowerful tool for inventoring, patching, deploying software, and includes remote control features to support users. Cheaper than Intune which in turn requires the expensive Premium license.
Cons:
Probably the flaky Mac and Linux integration. Could not get patching to work with these OSes, and given the large number of Linux servers on my network, this is less than ideal.
Alternatives Considered: Microsoft Intune
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Intune required to go full-Microsoft, was more expensive, and had fewer features.
