Secure and convenient electronic payments

The software's user-friendly interface and comprehensive features, including electronic and online payments, invoice creation, real-time payment tracking, and bill approval workflow, have made managing my bills and invoices much easier and more accurate.I also appreciate Bill.com's focus on security, which has given me peace of mind that my financial data and transactions are safe and secure. Using Bill.com has allowed me greater control, convenience, and efficiency in my financial management processes, freeing up more time to focus on growing my business.

Pros:

The features I like most: Electronic Payments: The payment feature enables us to pay bills and invoices securely and efficiently, with options for ACH, wire transfers, and virtual credit cards.Online Payments: The software's online payment feature allows us to receive payments from customers directly through the software, supporting multiple payment methods.Invoice Creation: The invoice creation feature provides customizable templates, the ability to add logos and branding, and payment links to encourage faster payment.Real-time Payment Tracking: The software's real-time payment tracking feature enables businesses to track the status of payments, including when invoices were sent, viewed, and paid.Bill Approval Workflow: Bill.com's bill approval workflow feature provides a customizable approval process, which helps us manage our bills and invoices more efficiently.

Cons:

While Bill.com is designed to be user-friendly, there is a bit of a learning curve to using the software.Reporting functionality is somewhat limited, with fewer customization options than other accounting software options, but still not a big issue.

Great Accounts Payable Software

Comments: Overall, great software for managing accounts payable. There are all kinds of dashboards where you can see the status of your payables on one screen which is convenient. Also, the reporting features are great. Very easy to pay company bills. Would definitely recommend to small/midsize business.

Pros:

This is a great solution for processing accounts payable in a small/mid-size business. Bill.com has approval workflows which makes it easy to control your payables and avoid fraud. It is super easy to pay bills with a few clicks. The company takes care of all check mailing and ACH processing. Also, vendors can see the status of their payment easily which is convenient and saves you time answering payment status requests from vendors.

Cons:

The company recently implemented a new interface which is confusing at times. Also, now screens load very slowly with the new features that they implemented. Also, there is no option to switch back to the old interface which I prefer.

Worst Experience with Any Bill Payment Provider

Comments: Bill.com was been the worst payment provider our business has ever worked with. The customer service email disregards everything that you say, they do not allow you to call in with any questions or concerns. The company withheld funds for work we had performed for over 4 weeks without cause. This is a very shady and untrustworthy enterprise!

Pros:

We did not have any good experience with Bill.

Cons:

Bill.com was been the worst payment provider our business has ever worked with. The customer service email disregards everything that you say, they do not allow you to call in with any questions or concerns. The company withheld funds for work we had performed for over 4 weeks without cause. This is a very shady and untrustworthy enterprise!

A Bit Pricey

Comments: I was not very happy. It was a bit overpriced and they were not receptive at all in helping me or negotiating.

Pros:

This product was easy to use and utilize.

Cons:

The pricing was the thing I liked least. The product seemed pretty high for the volume we did. We changed to melio. I also had to provide an accountants dashboard at $50 a month for my clients to get their product. Their product was still usually 70-80 a month. We switched to melio and pay less than $20 a month.

Bill.com saves us hours each week!

Comments: overall, we are thankful it was recommended to us bc it saves time and helps with record keeping

Pros:

The automation of bill payments, invoicing from staff for reimbursements, direct deposit options, and that we no longer print any checks ourselves, this along has saved us hours each month. Also, keeps track of all payments for tax purposes.

Cons:

Sometimes it syncs with QB but there are errors. Bill.com no longer syncs with Expensify, which adds another layer of work for us if reimbursements are in Expensify.
