Traveling arrangements made easy
Pros:
This is a very all inclusive program that making traveling for business easy! As a user I find this tool to be very intuitive and user friendly. With the ability to do everything from flights, lodging and rentals this all in one program is very easy and efficient. I would recommend this for any company !!
Cons:
I don’t have any cons about this program. It’s very user friendly like any other travel site. You can refine you searches, add stops etc. really easy to use as an end user.
Great OBT with innovative features for end-users, but confusing admin dashboard
Comments: Great tool ! Capabilities to configure private fares are extensive and continuously improved at record speed. High customer satisfaction as well.
Pros:
Requires little to no training for end users thanks to a great help feature which guides users along. Hotel location safety check, sharing flight options via email from search results, great app, etc. ! Very quick to implement industry required changes (e.g. adding country of issuance to KTN field).
Cons:
Unfortunately it is not intuitive. The fact that e.g. adding a ghost card to the site requires you to go to at least 4 different places does not make sense. Steps are easily missed. After adding it at the first place a pop up warning should appear, stating that it's not live and where to go next. The ability to clone private rates to other already existing Deem sites is lacking. For TMCs with a lot of airline agreements it is tough to manage.
Deem
Pros:
The end user experience is easy to navigate
Cons:
I would like to see it easier to configure on the travel management side of things. Delegate navigation, PTA, credit card assignment.
Beautiful travel reimbursements
Pros:
Deem uploads invoices for travel expenses for reimbursement.
Cons:
Deem has nothing to be worried about it.
Deem Travel Review
Comments: Love using Deem because of it's simplistic design.
Pros:
I like the clean look and feel. Deem is easy to use and very intuetive for travelers.
Cons:
I would like more reporting options available.
Deem
Comments: Really great. We receive great support from the Deem Team and our customer base is very happy with the tool.
Pros:
Ease of use. The mobile app and all of the features which mimic the desktop version.
Cons:
Programming the site involves multiple steps.
Deem performance
Pros:
The platform overall and the best customer service. The support our TMC gets far exceeds any other OBT. The ease of use from the traveler perspective.
Cons:
The PTA process. The agent team needs to be able to 'claim' the reservation when they get manual approval if an approver can't access their email. Fed Rooms are not present when configuring a government employee.
Simple and well designed online booking tool
Comments: I loved being able to book, modify and easily cancel and rebook my trip with Deem. It was great and I didn’t run into any issues. I loved how simple it was and the process was very easy.
Pros:
The sleek design and user friendly interface make booking travel seamless. It isn’t confusing or overly complex making it easy to know exactly which action you are taking and what to do next.
Cons:
I don’t love that you can’t search all types of fares in a search but have to toggle between them in the search.
Deem Review - Mike Frounfelter - Uniglobe Travel Designers
Comments: I have been using Deem for 20+ years through all of its transitions in that time. Customer support/training has always been top notch!
Pros:
Easy of use for both customers and admins
Cons:
Functionality of PTA could be improved, ability to change/cancel through Amadeus GDS.
Lots of bugs
Comments: We use Deem to book all of our work travel, including airfare, hotels, cars.
Pros:
Deem is nice for our company because we can save travel preferences and rewards numbers. It does automatically sync travel components like flights, hotels, and rental cars for your stay so you are not inputting the same information over and over.
Cons:
I don't like the hotel search very much. It is hard to visualize where hotels are or to search for a hotel that is not near the airport that you are flying into. There also tend to be a lot of bugs and glitches, such as dates changing uncontrollably or information not staying as you input it.
Deem review
Pros:
Easy to train and implement to new clients.
Cons:
Hotel issues and unable to set preferred hotels in order of preference.Inability to change reservations online
DEEM is a game changer
Comments: Great
Pros:
Moving Concur to DEEM has been a game changer. The UI and maneuverability within DEEM is unmatched.
Cons:
Getting used to a new product/process always takes some time, but DEEM made it easy.
Deem
Comments: We are offerering Deem as an alternative to the restrictions of Concur
Pros:
We are most happy with User Interface and Support. Our relationship with Deem has been very strong and it is a product we push on most new client
Cons:
We have client issues with Hotel bookings often
Made what could have been a frustrating trip simple
Pros:
the simplicity and clarity and easiness to book travel
Cons:
Could have some improvements on the simplicity around cancelling and switching flights
Alternatives Considered:
At viewpoint of TMC
Comments: Deem is suitable for small business. Larger business likes Concur with expense integration.
Pros:
Site designs and user interface are very modern and user friendly over Concur. SaftyCheck is great feature.Ask Etta function is also very helpful.
Cons:
No expense software. Very slow response for questions. New futures/function development is very slow and behind from competition.
Super easy. Super simple.
Pros:
Ease of use overrules any flashy interface but Deem had both in their new UI.
Cons:
Although the new UI was easy and good looking, there were some bugs that needed to be addressed.
Alternatives Considered:
Deem Support/Training Is by far the Best
Pros:
User Friendly and very dependable. The Layout I like better than others.
Cons:
Some of the programming but if I do not understand I can always reach out to someone for help and [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is very responsive to my need for help!
Green means go
Comments: I have had tremendous support with the Deem team and appreciate all of their efforts to come up with solutions, update programming, provide direction and have noticed the new efforts in reference material and design.
Pros:
The hotels results are beautiful with information regarding location/photos/reviews. The very clearly identified CANCELLABLE in GREEN vs NONCANCELLABLE in RED icons. It is very clear to the end users without having to disect the policy.
Cons:
I would love to see more reporting capability in the software, such as reportable fields captured during booking. Regardless of the data being raw data, it would be a great feature.
[SENSITIVE CONTENT] assistance
Comments: good
Pros:
[SENSITIVE CONTENT] was a huge help in setting up a new complicated travel site for our client. She went above and beyond to help. Offered suggestions to improve the site. Helped with the actual work and was very fast to respond to everything. She also showed me where all the seet documents can be foundOur clients like the option to have travelers book their own travel but stay within policy
Cons:
confusing set ups. PTA is somewhat limited
Etta review
Comments: Been with Deem for several years, support is great. Lately, things do feel a little more bumpy as far as support and communication goes. Shout out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] - she is a true one of a kind.
Pros:
Simplicity, not overwhelming. A first time booker can navigate the tool with little supervisions/direction
Cons:
Hotel search can be glitchy with reference points and airport default search. Wish you could search flights by flight number on trip planner page. Error messages don't indicate what the issue is most of the time.
Deem Review
Pros:
The mobile app is great! I like that there is only one app for integration and most features of Deem are available in the app.
Cons:
The software could be a little more user friendly for travel admins.
great obt tool
Pros:
the best out there in my opinion, and works great with their expense product
Cons:
deem/certify sometimes has issues with availability
Solid tool
Pros:
It is easy to learn and use. It is also has a very clean appearance.
Cons:
I wish the shop by time path was more robust
Great way to book travel
Pros:
I mostly use the mobile app. It is very simple to search for flights and book business trips. Also able to add hotels
Cons:
The app feels a little outdated. Some flights don't show up unless you have that certain time of the day selected. Also, I've noticed a handful of times price differences between DEEM and the airline's direct site
Makes traveling for business so easy!
Comments: Easy to use. Love the mobile application. Free Southwest airlines check in. I can pin my seat when browsing flights to make sure I get a window or aisle.
Pros:
The automatically linked calendar saves me the hassle of adding travel itineraries manually. I always find the flight I want for less than what I can get it on Expedia or Priceline.
Cons:
The expense application captures receipts on the fly but it's lightweight in comparison to other expense providers.
