Reviews of Hunter

One of the best email finding tools
Pros:
- Very good accuracy in finding european emails (Majority of tools are focused in US market);- Very good email validator that is instant (Normally we need to wait to validate emails, but hunter is very fast);- API & Integrations - We automate everything and hunter let's you do that with pratically every tool. If you don't have an integration, just use the API that is very fast and responsive;- Bulk uploads of csv's
Cons:
- It would be cool to enrich person based on linkedin url only, instead of needing to have the domain of the company

Hi Pedro, Laura here from the Customer Success team at Hunter. Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm thrilled to see that you're easily finding the emails you're looking for and that you find our integrations and API to be helpful and responsive. I also just wanted to clarify that our services are not restricted to any particular geographical area. When you use Hunter, you gain access to a single source: the public web. The results you get with Hunter really depend on the web presence of the domains you're researching. Regarding LinkedIn, we integrated with them previously, but since August 2017, it's forbidden to use extensions or directly use LinkedIn's data to find emails. However, you can always use our Email Finder to locate specific emails based on a person's name and company name/domain. I hope that clears things up. Thanks again, and all the best!

A Must Have Sales Tool
Comments: I have used Hunter as a secondary tool for prospecting for the past 5 years, I'm loyal and I'm ROI positive so it's a no brainer to continue using the software.
Pros:
If you or your sales team does any prospecting by visiting a website, this extension will be a game changer especially if you're looking to acquire emails associated to the domain in just a simple click. The emails are much more accurate than buying a list and it's much more affordable to seek out and build your own list using hunter. I suggest using a combination of LinkedIn and Hunter to make sure you find the decision maker or contact to maximize your monthly limits.
Cons:
Sometimes it take a little bit of time to load and if you click off the site while it's loading emails you have to start over. This is a minor issue but it can get frustrating if you are heavily prospecting a large list which leads me to my next con, quantity of emails you can acquire with their packages. If you prospect a lot of companies every month you may need to switch to a higher tier for membership which could get pricey.

Hunting Down Executives Emails
Comments: I've had a positive experience using Hunter. It is quick, easy and gives up-to-date email information. I've used it for several years now and have suggested several business owners to use it as well.
Pros:
The obvious best feature is the resource for finding email addresses with a click of a button. They have a free version, and it enables you to get a certain number of searches per day.
Cons:
At times when you post a link into the search, sometimes they aren't able to find any email addresses.

Hi Jenn, Thank you very much for your valuable feedback! We genuinely appreciate your loyalty to Hunter over the past several years, and we're thrilled to hear that you can easily find the emails you're looking for. I wanted to reach out to you regarding the overall rating of 2 stars out of 5, which is a matter of concern for us. We'd like to inquire if you've encountered any issues while using our application. If so, could you please contact us at [email protected] so we can address this together? We are constantly working to improve Hunter, and your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. Regarding the occasional difficulty in finding the emails you're looking for, I'd like to clarify that we intentionally do not rely on third-party sources. When you use Hunter, you're accessing information from a single source: the public web. Therefore, the quality of your results heavily depends on the online presence of the companies you're researching. Thank you very much in advance, and all the best! Hi Douglas, Laura here from Hunter, I just wanted to quickly reach out and thank you for sharing your feedback with us! It makes us very happy to see that you can find the contacts you're looking for. I think it's important to mention that Hunter can only find what is publicly available on the web, therefore, the results depend on the web presence of the companies you research but it might also happen that, for smaller or recently established domains, we may not always have results yet. At present, we list over 107M professional emails and this number is constantly growing: https://hunter.io/our-data We're always working hard to expand our dataset and improve our customers' experiences. Thanks again and all the best! Laura - Customer Success @ Hunter.io

Upgraded account a few minutes into free trial
Pros:
This app is amazing and underpriced. I've seen companies small and large pay ALOT more - piecing together multiple isolated products - and still getting less functionality. And Zapier integration sealed the deal.
Cons:
honestly none yet - a mobile application would make for better accessibility/notifications but it's far from a must-have.
