Comments: With the business problems we had, we were looking for a solution that would allow us to manage internal and external fleet use. The Support team at HQ is outstanding and they really are "solution Mode" Folks.

Pros:

Comments: From the moment Renato explained the functions of the system to me, I fell in love with the system, it covers all the needs of our company. I want to mention that I began the search for a rental system recently because previously there was no control, hq rental and [sensitive content hidden] who helped me set everything up they have been a great help, I can't wait to start receiving my first reservations with this new system!

Pros:

In addition to all its functions, which have been very useful for the company I work for, such as booking control, calendar, adding users, personalized emails, etc. The service they have offered me since day 1 has been excellent, Renato was very kind, he explained everything to me in a very simple but very complete way and on the other hand [sensitive content hidden], who has advised me these last few weeks, has been super patient, he answers me all my questions and any request I make he helps me, he is very kind.

Cons:

So far everything has been excellent....

Comments: OVERALL IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE USING THIS SOFTWARE, I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT EVEN IT WAS FREE.

Pros:

ONLY THING I LIKED WAS THE TOLL INTEGRATION, BUT THERE'S OTHER COMPANIES THAT CAN PROVIDE THE SAME FEATURE.

Cons:

THE SOFTWARE IS EXTREMELY COMPLICATED AND NOT USER FRIENDLY. TO TOP IT OFF THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS BY FAR THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN ANY BUSINESS. YOURE LUCKY IF THEY PICK UP THE PHONE. BUT LETS SAY THEY ACTUALLY PICK UP THE PHONE, DONT EXPECT TO GET ANY TYPE OF SUPPORT, THEYLL JUST ASK YOU TO SUBMIT A TICKET EVERY SINGLE TIME AND SOMEONE WILL GET BACK TO YOU HOURS IF NOT DAYS LATER. WHEN IT COMES TO THE SOFTWARE FROM A CUSTOMERS POINT OF VIEW, GOOD LUCK BECAUSE IT IS NOT USER FRIENDLY FOR THEM AS WELL. THE COMPANY HAS POTENTIAL BUT WHOEVER IS RUNNING IT NEEDS TO DO A BETTER JOB STRUCTURING AND LISTENING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS,

Professional customer success agent enabled easy implementation.

Comments: It has been a positive experience and the software has improved our efficiency and optimised our business. Our assigned success agent is professional, approachable,solutions-driven and always willing to jump on a call when needed. The investment has been worth it, however the lack of an integrated online payment platform is a shortcoming I hope gets resolved for our country soon.

Pros:

The professional support during the implementation made the transition to the new software easy. Frequency of training and follow up calls were just right and enable smooth implementation.

Cons:

There have been a few glitches in the backend that have not yet been resolved. Work-arounds have been provided so we have been able to continue with ease, however our expectation was for these issues to be solved.

Great Rental Software Product for New Rental Companies!

Comments: The customer success team worked really hard to ensure that we where able to get up and running within days vs weeks since I was looking to go live asap! Huge shoutout to [sensitive content hidden] for his diligence and great knowledge of the product that got us up and running so quickly!

Pros:

Implantation was extremely easy. Pricing is on par for product. quick response times from the team!

Cons:

I haven't run into one so far! The team has always made themselves available to address any question and resolved all tickets and changes requested within 48 hours! I have been completely impressed!

Reasons for Switching to HQ Rental Software: The Customer Service has been exceptional from the start and they are consistent with support and service even after the product is sold which I cant say for other companies who want you to pay upfront but cant answer 50% of your questions.

Great line-of-business software

Pros:

I love the fact that it's business for the car rental industry, and that shows in all the options. I think HQ rental is the industry standard. It works, and it works great.

Cons:

HQ Rental has a lot of knobs that you can adjust, and you don't always know what every option does. Some options are explained in the knowledge base, others aren't. It could use like a big guide to explain the software in detail. I am not talking about documentation by techs to explain in three words what every setting does, but a real 'book like' document explaining concepts, philosophy behind the software, guiding you through sections, etc.

Comments: Our overall experience was nothing short of amazing. [sensitive content hidden] provided the best customer service ever. He was truly helpful and made sure we were happy with the product. He went above and beyond of what was required of him. The onboarding was flawless and we were up and running in a matter of days. 10 out of 10 for HQ

Pros:

We mostly liked the fact we can send customers the rental agreement have them sign long before they arrive.

Cons:

I doesn’t have an option to cache or export the entire back office to mitigate possible HQ crashes

Reasons for Switching to HQ Rental Software: Overall HQ seems to best suits our needs. It literally checked all the boxes for what we wanted plus more.

Ease of use. The staff. Greatly priced. Any queries are responded to promptly by the technical team.

Cons:

So far there has been noth that we did not like

Extremely Customizable and Great Quality

Comments: Excellent service all around, no pushy sales tactics and very helpful. Support is very quick and responsive. Our first two support tickets were cleared within 1-2 hours for a low priority request.

Pros:

We can everything and anything that we set out to do in this software from reservations to reporting and management.

Cons:

It is complicated to set up on your own but they offer excellent support if you want to have them do everything for you. They also have an amazing documentation for set up to assist you. Barely a con.

Comments: The HQ Software is very easy to use and I love the way the software can be integrated with your website and I recommend anyone with a car rental business to use this software. The bookings are quick and easy offline and online. The instructors are really helpful and they walk you threw so that you understand how to use the software.

There’s nobody to call when you have a problem with the software because you can only email someone and have to wait for someone to reach out. Also I don’t like that the software doesn’t verify if someone who’s booking identity is real or fake.

Comments: Overall I am very satisfied with the system and I would recommend it to all ten.

I love that the system is very user friendly. The mask of the system is so easy transparent. The system was very easy to explain to our employees. I also really like the customer support. The agent we have assigned is willing to help us 24/7

Since our laws are very strict and require a lot of details, the invoice module is insufficient for us and we have to work a lot on it.

moving into the 21st century

Comments: Very happy with the software which can be as simple as your like or as detailed as you like and can be set up to your preference.

Pros:

The whole process is now automated for us, previously we were all manual. It worked out perfectly for us as it is easy to use and access thru the app for our agents delivering vehicles to resorts/hotels. bookings can be amended and changed with ease. Very versatile software.

Cons:

We weren't able to add a payment gateway being a Pacific Island. Some of the functions are not available on the app. Very minor.

Comments: Going digital. Less paperwork. Keeping track of our inventory and streaming the process. Our current system was very time consuming as we worked off excel sheets etc. Overall experience has really been excellent from first day of contact, everything went seamless, and you are all very well organized as well. [sensitive content hidden] is very attentive, easy to have meetings and conversations with as well. Super friendly and patient.

Pros:

We have not had a chance to properly make use of the product at this stage as we are still busy with the setup process. We love all the features offered and are sure this will make our booking, vehicle handover and collection, payment etc. etc. super easy going forward.

Cons:

The setup process was the least favourite part, as it takes a lot of time and effort, but it will be worth it... But the fact that you are very well organized with your excel sheets etc. did make this easy.

Comments: after a horrible and long onboarding attempt with Rentall our experience with HQRental is beyond our expectations.

Pros:

The level of customer service provided by [sensitive content hidden] is exceptional..It would take months to learn the system without their assistance and knowledge. They handled every issue we had during the onboarding process and customized anything we asked for.

Pros:

The software is quite customizable, making it applicable to any kind of rental business. Not only that, but the support team is quite helpful and quick to respond if there are troubles.

Cons:

Though customizable, the settings seem to be all over the place and difficult to navigate through. This makes it quite difficult to adjust simple things that would otherwise be considered straightforward.
