Good product that could use a few improvements

5.0 last year

Pros:

Unattended/Remote access is very easy to use. Installing the agent on machines is easy and can also be automated.

Cons:

Some admin functions such as maintaining users/roles/security permissions are not very intuitive, and can be hard to figure out at first.

It is simple to access the server with ConnectWise remotely.

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: Mainly what we are dedicated to is structuring programmatic projects of our computer and hardware services, it is essential in this sense that when a problem arises at any time we can be 100% notified with notifications to repair the process of any program that we have in operation. on the server. This program has undoubtedly helped us a lot, we don't need to go back to work, with a home computer it's enough to be able to check the server, which is as if we were doing it live at work.

Pros:

Initially, it is very easy to be able to connect everything with connect wise, especially for what we use it for, which is the testing server. Reciprocally, it generates more learning information where we move very well. Many times I leave the office and I receive messages of serious concerns about server errors where technicians are waiting for my help and direction. Thanks to the program, I can easily generate this by connecting from my home and everything has gone great.

Cons:

There are some applications that are not compatible and tools that conectwise does not have at this time, other programs do.According to this, currently it will not be an impediment to change it, but in the future it may possibly be.

Connectwise tool for managing servers and workstations

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Very good tool to have all devices centralized to avoid connecting each time to different vpn, and to go directly to each business and different countries.

Pros:

The best thing is that you have all servers and workstation consoles centralized, if you have different business units or supporting other countries, you can have a better approach using Connectwise

Cons:

The only thing I have noticed is just that for a couple of servers, sometimes the CW agent needs to be re-installed since it reports as disconnected.

Comments: With the exception of the price, which is not too bad, I'm extremely delighted with this purchase. I'm extremely accustomed to free software, but they simply lacked ScreenConnect's functionality, particularly the ability to connect to any machine and control it from anywhere on the network.

Pros:

I can control access and add permissions to the data.Good and responsive technical support.Easy to use and productive features.Mobile access.Unlimited logins.

Cons:

ConnectWise ScreenConnect Positives

5.0 12 months ago

Pros:

ScreenConnect with CW is our process when I need to see what a user is doing on their end to better understand their issue. Starting a session, have the user join the session and facilitate seeing their information is seamless. It is also very easy to disconnect so the user knows I am no longer in their computer seeing anything of concern as a notification is sent to the user I have disconnected.

Cons:

Nothing at this time since using ConnectWise ScreenConnect is an easy process and meets my needs.

Great remote access platform

5.0 last year

Pros:

ScreenConnect is a great tool for managing our company's digital signage program. I use ScreenConnect to confirm that digital signage is displaying correctly at remote locations. I also use it to remote in and troubleshoot issues that come up periodically. This is an invaluable tool for managing signage for our sales offices and company division offices out of town.

Cons:

I don't have any cons for ScreenConnect.

One of the most useful remote access tools for troubleshooting problems

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We decided to buy ConnectWise because of its reasonable pricing and high service quality; the ConnectWise platform has been around for quite some time and is highly recommended. ConnectWise's platform allows the same PC to be reached from any other q if required, saving time on solution issues affecting any enterprise computer. The highest-quality, most cost-effective, and most user-friendly remote access tool available.

Pros:

We appreciate its user-friendliness and the fact that we were always able to get a prompt response from their helpful support team, suggesting options that would work best for us. ConnectWise is one of the best remote access solutions because of its encryption feature, which keeps our data safe while being transmitted and received via the platform.

Cons:

The ConnectWise platform has provided us with far more advantages than drawbacks, but we have noticed that the mobile version is often much slower than the desktop version.

Easy Access for remote support

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: ConnectWise Control has helped us massively supporting users remotely, especially during the Covid pandemic when all users where working from home and we were required to provide support over the phone and whilst maintaining distancing.

Pros:

ConnectWise Control is a seamless tool used for remote support. It allows IT support to connect to an end user device/Server without having to log the user or session out. meaning a user can report an issue and support personell can be on supporting in no time. There are also great file and clipboard sharing features. Along with unattended access to PowerShell and command line which can be useful for troubleshooting without impacting the users day.

Cons:

ConnectWise Control is a brilliant tool for remote support, the issue I have is it can become a security risk given users machines can be accessed and remotely managed with no acceptance of session from the end user.

ConnectWise Control in a medical office

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We have had a wonderful experience with ConnectWise. We use it daily to communicate with our IT provider. If an issue arises, they quickly gain control using ConnectWise. We also love the ability to connect to our work desktop when we are out of the office.

Pros:

ConnectWise is a vital tool for communication and the ability to easily access our desktops when we are not in the office. Our IT provider recommended it several years ago and it allows them easy access when there is an issue or when a computer needs immediate updates and files.

Cons:

There aren't any features of ConnectWise that we feel need to be improved at this time.

Glitchy but solid product

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

Good customer service. Easy to deploy. Supports different operating systems.

Cons:

Many times had to re-install the agent due to connection issues. The agents would all of a sudden lose connection with the server.
