Easy to use event creation/tracking!
Comments: EventCreate helps our company create events and track them. It also give our employees and customers a way to look at all of the event details beforehand! It helps track attendees, send reminders automatically, create templates and so much more! This product takes out a lot of manual work - you can run reports of attendees who have and have not RSVP's, you can add custom questions to the RSVP such as dietary restrictions and those will show up on your reports as well. It's simple to use and our employees love it!
Pros:
EventCreate is user friendly and gives you a space for all of your event needs. It's versatile so that you can host different types of events, but you can keep track of everything in one place. You can customize it as much or as little as you want. I love using this site! I really like the RSVP feature for attendees as well as the fact that you can customize the website with location, hotels, images, and more.
Cons:
There are some features that could be updated/modified to give more customization options. Like page layouts, colors and photos. There are some features that are amazing, but at the same time are difficult to find every check box to use the feature, so you can get lost or confused in trying to figure out how to set something up a certain way. When setting up your event, there are several tabs and under each tab are many options/checkboxes which is great, but can be tedious and you need to double check everything to ensure it's all exactly how you want it!

Pros:
Super user friendly and easy to use and navigate. The page editing tools are straightforward and allow for plenty of customization.
Cons:
That I have to leave the website builder to create an image gallery, and that I can't upload specific email list to deploy emails/can only deploy emails to registered attendees.
Alternatives Considered: Bizzabo and Eventials
Reasons for Choosing EventCreate: Way to expensive, and for the features it offered was not worth the price - specifically the $1K onboarding fee.
Switched From: Splash
Reasons for Switching to EventCreate: The products were to expensive, and added cost for what we believed fundamental services/features to what we needed. The interfaces were outdated or too complex for what we needed.
Event Create doesn't seem to like small not for profit orgs
Comments:
Frustrating and anxiety producing. We have wasted a week trying to satisfy faceless email queries.
"Your almost there" from Stripe and another email comes asking for more!
Pros:
We saw it working well at another local event
Cons:
Impossible for a small non profit to meet critira of credit company AND NO WAY TO TALK TO ANYONE!
A+ Customer Service
Comments: I was looking for a system to help manage a conference and trade show. The program I was using was quite antiquated. I had been looking at a larger company platform but the cost was exhorbitant and I didn't need all the bells and whistles. EventCreate is exactly what I needed.
Pros:
Very easy to use. I started off using the trial and got to a point where I needed to upgrade. Their customer support has been hands down the easiest to work with when it's through a chat. I upgraded to the pro, paid for a month subscription to continue trialling in that capacity. When I realised it was going to work, I paid for the annual subscription (much cheaper than paying for a month)
Cons:
I do wish you could copy and paste what you've already done. In some places you can but others you can't
Alternatives Considered: Cvent Event Management and RSVPify
Reasons for Switching to EventCreate: It had the scope that i needed it to have, the customer service was great
Great off-the-shelf events platform solution
Comments: Needed an off the shelf events platform to trial a new product on, without paying out for a bespoke website. So far this ticks all the boxes. Thank you
Pros:
Easy to use, great features, good price and really useful integrations
Cons:
Nothing yet! Seems to do everything I need so far.
Alternatives Considered: Google Drive
Reasons for Switching to EventCreate: Price and ease to use. Also a good free trial option to see what it can do. And honest pricing on the website - I don't want a sales call to find out how much something is going to cost.
