Comments: There are pros and cons to Uscreen, but once you're a member there is a lot of support to help make your membership succeed.

Pros:

Uscreen has been our video hosting website since we October 2022. The website and back-end interface are user-friendly enough, allowing us to focus on creating quality content without much technical issues. Their customer support is always helpful and responsive. We chose Uscreen for its community features, and the ability for our audience to comment on specific videos has fostered a strong sense of engagement and community.

Cons:

Despite its strengths, Uscreen has some notable downsides. The analytics are not as detailed or informative as we would like, although we are hopeful about the improvements they're making. The most significant drawback has been the outrageous increase in cost per subscriber. This substantial hike was difficult to budget in since our operations costs are already very high, but we decided to stay with Uscreen due to the overall benefits. While there are areas needing enhancement, such as analytics, back end community notifications and pricing, we are overall happy with them. I really miss when Uscreen had their community on Facebook, I feel like there's a lack of interaction on their Uscreen community since we had the switch.

Comments: My overall experience has been excellent. It was so easy to input content and create a platform that looks professional. Now, I’m in the process of marketing it, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Rob is amazing, and the Uscreen team is always looking for ways to help. They genuinely want you to succeed and are always ready to offer support in any way possible.

Pros:

What I liked most about Uscreen is the website builder that comes integrated with the platform, making it incredibly easy to use and upload content. The platform is premium in quality, and their customer support is outstanding.

Cons:

Honestly, there's nothing I dislike about Uscreen.

Good concept, poor execution, horrible support

Comments: Very poor experience. Any time I asked a question I was sent a link to their help site. If I inquired further, my emails would then be ignored.

Pros:

In theory, the platformed served my basic needs to get started. Most of the features were easy to use.

Cons:

The worst technical support I have encountered in a while. I had technical issues with my site when switching features of my site, causing it to crash. Technical support said it was an issue with my hosting site, even though the issue occurred when I changed a feature on my Uscreen site. After inquiring more, my emails were no longer returned. The issue is still going on and we are looking for alternate hosting sites.

Very user-friendly both for admins and customers. They are the epitome of a white label product - we have been able to customize time and again to fit our product and our brand. The Uscreen team is always adding new features and upgrades.

Cons:

I only have good things to say. When there has a been any issue, they are quick to respond.

Comments: Professional, proactive, personal ... and pricey. But having access to such a reliable platform with so few technical issues and simple workflow saves you time, so you can be more effective as a creator/publisher. Uscreen just works.

Pros:

Support is absolute 5*, blazing fast and smart. This retains my business more than anything. I also have a Customer Success manager who was assigned to my account to help me find ways to succeed in my business using Uscreen.

Cons:

Lack of 'online course' features that would transform the video catalogue into a series of linked courses, with gamification, quizzes and level tests to encourage users to revisit the platform to take the next step in their learning progression. The Community integration (chatroom) lacks rich media support options and is a bit too basic.

Our UScreen Experience

Comments: Our initial experience/set up was rather lengthy. We had many, many interactions with CS for many, many months. We have requested quite a number of features and most have been built. It took time. They do listen to our needs, but our needs aren't always met. Our rate increased and that was very difficult for our small business. While we are in a fairly good place, there are still important features we would like to enjoy that have not yet come to fruition after nearly 2 years.

Pros:

The UScreen team is very responsive. While we've experienced growing pains, UScreen has very much grown along with us. They prioritize serving their customer's needs. While the overall needs of the Uscreen community don't always match up with our organization's most pressing needs, UScreen advisors always answer our questions and help us with our own needs. We appreciate new feature roll outs and we appreciate the forward thinking nature of the UScreen team.

Cons:

Difficulty of certain features--not intuitive. Fixes generally require large product updates which take time.

Comments: I've moved my movement platform to Uscreen from Kajabi after experiencing how much it would improve the user experience of my members. The Uscreen team is dynamic and dedicated - updates are frequent and the community can submit feature requests freely. The way the sites and apps are build is well optimised for video content. From features like filters, playlists, livestream to well designed forum, I believe Usceen has really helped my business flourish. The customer support is also faster than in any other service I've used.

Pros:

- Fast support response times - In built apps for iOS and Android - Filtering and playlist system for videos - Community forum for my members - Clear admin system

Cons:

- No localised currencies - No paid trial option - Internal livestream software has been hit and miss so far - Minimal customisation options for in built marketing features

Comments: My overall experience has been great! I love that they listen to feedback and are genuinely trying create a really good product. They're team seems to really enjoy working with creators and you can sense that. And if there isn't a solution for you're problem, they try to find workarounds.

Pros:

I really like the content layout, it matched Netflix and since my students don't take a linear path to learning I like that they can search or we can group things into categories for them to find.

Cons:

My cons are centered more towards my specific use case. I wish Uscreen had quizzes for my customers to take after they watch a specific video.

Uscreen was a game changer!

Comments: Thanks to Uscreen we were able turn our small YouTube channel (Refeel Yoga) into a viable source of revenue. They've enabled us to be able to teach, travel, study and live, while generating passive income and live an amazing life.
I can't recommend them enough. 5 stars is too few!

Pros:

Aside from the ease of creating out website and making a very beautiful, professionally put together webpage, the customer service has been incredible! We've had amazing calls with our personal representative, every CSA that I've reached out to has been super friendly and attentive. It's been a dream and a life changing experience since we started our account with Uscreen.

Cons:

This is tough, because there are so many positives. I suppose one complaint I would have is the context window in the comments section. I teach Yoga, so when someone asks a question, I want to give as detailed of a response as possible (my wife says I write books to our students) But this means that I often have to create a series of 4 or 5 replies to be able to full answer a questions. Small complaint, but it's something that would make like easier for me.

The best decision I have made for my business

Comments: Migrating to Uscreen from Vimeo OTT is the best decision I have made for my business. Features such as tiered pricing and the way payments are processed have meant that I have increased my revenue without needing to increase my subscribers. Features like the community and other marketing tools have improved my connection with my subscribers and therefore customer retention. With the Uscreen marketing tools, I feel supported in the task of increasing my subscriber levels too. Overall, I am now proud of my membership offering and feel so much more confident in my ability to grow my business. Thank you Uscreen!

Pros:

The company ethos feels innovative and dynamic, with constant development at the heart of what they do. I was blown away by all the features and functionality of the Uscreen platform and since joining there has been constant evolution of the product. It is not just a place to host videos, rather a whole suite of marketing tools, community and support to grow my business. From my very first interaction with Uscreen, I felt that they understood me and the art of selling memberships, and they cared about the development of my business, and this has continued throughout all of my interactions since. Uscreen is a breath of fresh air, having migrated from Vimeo OTT where it felt like there was zero desire for innovation or interest in creators' feedback or suggestions.

Cons:

I can't think of anything. There are a few nice-to-have features that are not yet available but they don't have an impact on my business and I am sure these will be developed over time.

Pros:

From sales to customer migration to deployment to mobile app development, every step along the way has been a top notch experience. I received tremendous support at every step with precise documentation and helpful humans. Transitioning from a different platform to Uscreen was seamless and since the upgrade my online business has almost tripled in revenue!

Cons:

Compared to other platforms, the Community feature is still relatively simple. I wish there were more robust features such as private messaging and screen sharing like Discord.

Comments: Stress free, reliable, and a little inspiring. Giving us the confident to create even more content.

Pros:

We switched over from another streaming service provider (Dacast). And our experience with them wasn't the best, so we were a little weary. However Uscreen took the stress away completely from streaming. Their system is robust, easy to follow, and very inuitive. We had a very useful and informative onbaording session with our account manager, which set the tone of our Uscreen experience so far.

Cons:

In all honest, nothing. Their platform has evolved with tools and features very useful to a small niche broadcaster like us. Some features perhaps can be better grouped and configured on the site, but this is purely cosmetic. Everything works really well.

Pros:

I have been using the Uscreen platform for over 3 years and I am really happy to host my membership platform on it. I find the framework really user friendly. There are plenty of in built marketing tools to help with automations and also to reduce churn. I've also found the customer service/teach team support to be second to none - speedy responses with a genuine desire to help! I also recently found out about Membership + which is Uscreen's support community group full of resources to help encourage and inspire membership owners! If you're looking to start your own membership, I would have no hesitation to recommend Uscreen!

Cons:

I really don't have any cons. I have a few suggestions for requests that I have made to the tech request team that my membership would really benefit from.

Comments: What makes Uscreen great is the people that work there. Every single one of them have been great, gave me great advise and went out of there way to solve problems.

Pros:

Uscreen can pretty much do everything. It takes a little while getting used to it but when you do it's such a powerful tool. It has made such an impact on my life.

Cons:

They don't have multi-currency this has really prevented us taking clients on from other countries.

A strong foundation for the future.

Comments: The brightest spot has been the team. The Uscreen team has been great and has really helped us onboard our team to the platform.

Pros:

The bones of the platform are super solid and you're able to do most things really well. The content management is good and the community page is easy to use. The mobile app is a huge boost that we didn't anticipate would make much of a difference. But it's been the majority of our users are accessing Uscreen through the custom app.

Cons:

There's some features that lack behind other offerings, especially when it comes to live streaming and scheduling. You currently can't pre-schedule events without pre made content attached to it. And the live streaming doesn't allow you to capture video from a guest.

-Second to none customer service -Consistently improving the product based on feedback -Easy to use interface for both the creator and user -While things rarely "break" if they do Uscreen is so quick to fix it -The Membership+ portal is a fantastic resource for learning from other successful creators

Dance Studio Made Easy

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use the site. It's very user friendly and videos play fast without having to buffer.

Cons:

I don't have the option to create video playlists besides adding videos to my favorites.

Great product for creators

Pros:

I've been with Uscreen for the last few months and it's been a game changing experience for me. From their technology to their team, everything is delivered at a high level and as an entrepreneur with little employee support, I've been able to significantly amplify my output by working with them. I love the marketing and outreach tools that are integrated into their product experience. My customer success manager is great too - she's been helping me evolve as a marketer. Definitely recommend checking Uscreen out if you're a creator or small business that's looking to create community and monetize content.

Cons:

I didn't know that the Uscreen logo would be on my app when it launched. The team could have been more clear about this in the sales process.
