Highly recommended Digital Signage System

Comments: My experience with the system has been great. Easy to setup and deploy, with flexible content creation tools. My customer love the system and the assistance from ScreenCloud customer service makes this a great solution

Pros:

I love the ease of setup and deployment. Was able to set up two sites sitting at my desk, box up the P1 devices and send them to their locations without issue. The flexibility of the content and available apps is also amazing.

Cons:

It is not a con... there are so many apps that my clients can get a bit overwhelmed in creating their content

Reasons for Switching to ScreenCloud: Was looking for the robust P1 Pro Player as the transport solution.

Easy digital signage management

Comments: This app is great for easy management of digital signage from anywhere via the cloud.

Pros:

ScreenCloud makes my business's digital signage management very easy! There's tons of apps and customizability, and the UI is very easy to move around in. Stability is super important and we haven't had any issues since updating devices. We can easily update content or use apps to have dynamic displays. We use the API to change the screen if we have an event coming up, all automatically.

Cons:

The only downside is the license cost. It's a bit higher than other competitors with similar or slightly trimmed back features. I also wish they had a mobile friendly site so I can more easily manage a screen on the go (forgot to update it or something after leaving work). Sometimes, temporary displays don't revert back to the original content after the time is up.

Alternatives Considered: OptiSigns

Reasons for Switching to ScreenCloud: We actually use both. Optisign is better and cheaper for single display, single menu, non-dynamic screens. But ScreenCloud is easier, more dynamic and looks better.

Problems with about everything.

Comments: Not a pleasent experience.

Pros:

The remote access is helpful because I'm not at the place alot.

Cons:

The ability to do about everything, nothing seems to flow easily.

A great digital signage platform for marketers

Comments: We've been using screencloud for over three years in our company, after using other online softwares that weren't up to the job. We were seduced by the multitude of apps offered by screencloud and the compatibility with our other marketing tools. Screencloud is easy to use for our marketing team, and we use it to distribute information to all our offices, as well as plug and play at trade shows and conferences.

Pros:

Support is very fast, responds directly and solves our problems instantly. There's never a downtime on our screens. UX is great, easy to customized playlists to have a great amounts of diversified contents to show.

Cons:

Nothing the platform is greatr and was quickly adopted by our team.

ScreenCloud rocks!

Creating custom, variable sized screen content could be simpler

Comments: Overall I'm very happy with the platform and support and would definitely recommend ScreenCloud to others.

Pros:

I honestly didn't think I would be able to get this going! I have never worked on any digital screen software. The tutorials are easy to follow and I now have 15 screens successfully up and running for 3 months already and they look AMAZING!! Support is great, they get back to you very quickly I was quite pleased. Overall great experience!

Cons:

There are a couple of add-ons that have to be purchased that I think should be included, and I don't like that the YouTube app STREAMS the videos rather than downloading them so you use lots of data if you do it this way.

Reasons for Switching to ScreenCloud: Representative was very helpful and great follow up (Ben Nichols), it seemed to be more user friendly.

ScreenCloud is easy to use

Comments: It is easy to learn and easy to keep updated. I make updates several times per week and the software makes it very easy.

Pros:

The company I work for was looking for a cost efficient way to keep the team up to date on company events. ScreenCloud fit our budget perfectly. I loved that we could try it for a month for free to make sure it would work for us and it did. The software is easy to learn and use.

Cons:

I would like to see more APPs available to load.

Great product for multiple screens

Comments: Overall the experience has been great and seemless.

Pros:

What I like most about ScreenCloud is the ability to display the same slide show on multiple screens at once.

Cons:

It could probably use some more app connections like office products or Canva.

Comments: Great product to help promote with lack of paper posters

I think the overall aspect of learning the system and becoming skilled at creating content can be daunting at first. Maybe more step by step tutorials would eb beneficial?

Lots of capabilities

Pros:

I love all the options ScreenCloud provides to be able to manage multiple screen in our building. I can schedule different playlists throughout the days and weeks, do unique layouts with channels to have more than one image/playlist, or even show recent posts from our Instagram. ScreenCloud continues to evolve the service to fit our needs better.

Cons:

Currently I dont have any cons, since ScreenCloud started offering the studio version it meets all my needs.

Comments: Screencloud is very intuitive and easy to use software for digital signage. The endless possibilities and out of the box integrations provides flexibility to display the content from various data sources.

It cannot display the content from inetrnal systems if the authentication is through our single siign on setup.

The UI is easy to understand

Comments: It works well, however sometimes it needs to clean the cache, which I suppose is due to the player's device. Compared to Optisigns, the advantage is the clarity of the UI. ScreenCloud may be better for many users (though Optisigns is cheaper)

A little less functional and more expensive than Optisigns.

Comments: Screen Cloud has allowed us to reach out to customers in ways we didn't even know were possible. Our operation is made better by the ability to seamlessly update information. We are looking to add more screens to our operation.

Pros:

The multi-screen function allows us to broadcast to multiple locations at once, and the ability to know that the screens will update nearly instantaneously, allows us to continue to put our focus on mission-critical needs. Screencloud has allowed us to reach out customers in ways we didn't even know were possible.

Cons:

It is a marvelously impactful way of connecting with my audience - and they need do nothing but walk past my screens for me to engage with them.

I would like the default timing to be 20 seconds, 10 is too short

Comments: It's been really a smooth experience with Screencloud from deployment to manging content. We tried other screen services and ScreenCloud is far superior.

Pros:

The best solution for in-store screens and advertising I have found for our business. Simple to deploy using Firesticks. It's simple to create and customize playlists for each screen, have expiration dates for time-specific information, and it serves up both images and videos, plus screencloud's own useful content too (e.g. weather forecast etc).

Cons:

I have had some issues with Firesticks that have required replacing because of updates not being compatible with Screencloud. From time to time the app will require a little attention (re-boots, login etc), but most of the time these devices are reliably up and running 24/7.

Can't do business without it!

Comments: I really can't imagine having a retail menu without this service. Automatic updating through growflow is essential too.

Pros:

Everything! The level of customization is wonderful, if you are a creative designer you can do pretty much anything you would ever need in a menu board.Integration with growflow is great.

Cons:

Would be nice to have the option to eliminate the title row at the top of every menu scroll.

ScreenCloud Review

Comments: ScreenCloud players are too expensive, and the yearly cost is high. Compared to other available platforms.The overall experience with using Amazon Firesticks 4K has been easy. Don't use older versions of Amazon Firesticks.

Pros:

An easy way for churches to manage multiple screens remotely

Comments: We have a high value of our lobby and venue screens running a loop of announcement slides before and after our services and events. With evening activities practically every day of the week, having the ability to remotely upload a slide and have the ability to program when that particular slide should be inactivated is crucial. With Screencloud, we're able to set that expiration date at the time of upload, and forget about it. Then it just disappears on that date/time without anyone having to remember. Screencloud has been a great help, and is now considered a member of our communications team!

Pros:

Easy to set up and implement! The apps are well-designed, changes are visible instantly, and the quality is excellent. We have really benefited from being able to add slides and content from home or from a different campus, and the screens update immediately on site. The web portal is easy to understand and navigate for our team.

Cons:

Support on various devices is more of a limit of the devices than the software. For example, we first tried Google Chromecast, and those kept going to sleep overnight, and we couldn't find a way to keep that from happening. Moved to Amazon Fire sticks and they work much better. Every now and then one of them goes to sleep, but for the most part we don't have to worry about that.

Impossible to do without

Comments: This is the best way to communicate with all our employees.

Pros:

The new platform is more user-friendly :)

Cons:

The migration was difficult because we use it at a high level. Some applications could not be transferred, we found other alternatives.
