The system is also easy to use and flexible depending on your level of expertise. You are not required to use their backend systems if you wish to use your own or others. Support to date has also been exceptional through combined use of their forums and access to the technical support staff. > > **Cons**: The Apple and Android requirements are constantly shifting and sometimes you may run into issues where you'll need to wait for an Appery update in order for your output to get through the myriad of changing requirements required by the app stores. But these instance are few and far between. > > We have our own database and application management systems, so we don't use the included database and server systems that are included with Appery. We chose to write our own php based web services and query our database systems rather than rely on the integrated Appery database system.
