Make Data-Driven Decisions with Grow - A No-Code Full Stack Business Intelligence Platform

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Working with Grow has been an incredible experience. The team is knowledgeable and responsive, the platform is intuitive and powerful, and their customer service is top-notch. I've been able to quickly connect data sources, explore and surface insights with no coding knowledge required, and collaborate with my team on data-driven decisions. I'm looking forward to what else Grow can do for us in the future!

Pros:

We love Grow because of its user-friendly interface and the ease with which you can connect to different data sources, explore and visualize your data, and easily surface insights. Not to mention its powerful features such as auto-scheduling reports and alerts that keep you up to date on key metrics. Plus, with their intuitive drag-and-drop design tools, you don't need to be a tech expert to get the most out of Grow.

Cons:

There isn't anything we don't enjoy about Grow. Our clients like how straightforward and simple the platform is to use, making it easy to access data and explore insights rapidly. Yet, like with any piece of software, customers may yearn for functionality that aren't currently accessible. At Grow, we are constantly working to improve our product to meet the requirements of our clients, so please contact us and let us know what you would like to see included!

From a User Perspective

4.0 10 months ago

Pros:

It is easy to add data sets. Once data sets are added putting together dashboards is pretty easy.

Cons:

Some of the equations that are available do not respond as I would anticipate. Sometimes it takes a minute to figure out how the program is compiling the data. This may be a user issue, but still a problem that is experienced if the end users do not have part in compiling the data sources.

Good Idea Bad Implementation

2.0 10 months ago

Pros:

I like the ease of use and I like the variety of information it can present.

Cons:

I don't like the lack of interaction on a Grow Dashboard, there is no check mark or highlighting capability. I don't like that the refresh rate just gives up and doesn't let me force a refresh.

Time Savvy Data analysis Tool

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: My overall experience with grow was awesome. I used it to make lively dashboards and decks be it on zonal front or asm level, or store level, or product level. It helped me to save my time and enhance data analysis which resulted in drawing better insights.

Pros:

The user interface is so convinient. One can easily make dashboard and draw insights of large data.Connectors can be used to connect data and make your dashboard lively.

Cons:

The free version doesn't provided much services to users, also the forcasting can also be enhanced.Once forcasting and free trial services are improves it is really good alternative for any dashboard tool.

Great business data tool

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

The capability of bringing all KPIS to one location to be compared side-by-side and even layered to more precisely set goals. the visual impact and the ability to see the company's statistical position and future direction.

Cons:

It can occasionally be a little overpowering. It would be beneficial to have a few more color options to distinguish between the various sections.

You need a Grow.Com Expert to Setup a Dashboard

3.0 2 years ago

Pros:

There are lots of integrations and the customer support is quite helpful.

Cons:

You cannot setup a dashboard easily. It is not for non tech savvy people. Even as a techie, I couldn't setup one right off the bat.

It's a decent dashboard tool

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

Grow is a relatively easy way to have a shared source of truth, which is important for any team reviewing KPIs.

Cons:

Some of the API connections are limited at the other end, making Grow less useful than I would have liked. This is specifically around different attribution models.

Unlocking Data-Driven Insights with Grow's BI Platform

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Grow has been nothing short of amazing in our experience. We like how simple it is to connect and explore our data, as well as how it can surface insights for everyone in our organisation to make data-driven decisions. We also like how their no-code full-stack business intelligence (BI) platform combines data integrations, data warehousing, and visualisation in a single user-friendly platform. Overall, we are very pleased with Grow's performance and eager to continue our journey with them.

Pros:

Grow's simplicity and ease of use were particularly appealing to me. Its powerful yet simple features allow you to easily connect, explore, and surface insights from your data. When compared to traditional tools, the no-code platform saves time and money, making it accessible to any organisation regardless of technical capabilities. Furthermore, the customer service is excellent, and the team goes above and beyond to ensure that users get the most out of the software.

Cons:

We haven't discovered anything we dislike about Grow. The platform is simple to use and intuitive, making it an excellent choice for businesses of all sizes. We also value the ability to share insights across teams, which enables businesses to make data-driven decisions quickly and effectively. Overall, we strongly recommend Grow's no-code full-stack BI platform to any organisation looking to up its data game.

BI platform that is fast and reliable, easy-to-use

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: It's been a good experience so far. However, if the grow team can plug some of their shortcomings, they'd be a far superior product with a loyal user base. They're headed in the right direction though.

Pros:

User-friendly interface and intuitive design, which make it easier to navigate and use. The typical workflow has a learning curve though (connection > warehouse tables > datasets > metrics) which can be confusing at first to the uninitiated. Customer support is knowledgeable, fast and excellent.

Cons:

1. Datasource options need to be expanded. 2. The data inside suggested warehouse tables can be improved to be made more relevant. Too much unnecessary information that defeats the purpose.3. The grow team can do a much better job of creating educational resources on how customers can make the best use of each connection. The documentation is often outdated and not helpful.

Grow Review

3.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I really like the ability to pull data for customers in the 'needs order' categories, and using the gap reporting to my advantage

Cons:

I feel like the system is a little buggy at times and could be better. My reports will auto update or shoot me to the top of the webpage if I am looking and browsing through the same data set for more than a few minutes.

A Useful Tool

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

Easy to create and manage dashboards. Setting up new connections is easy and straightforward, often with detailed guides, if required. Tools for parsing and manipulating the data are thorough and vast.

Cons:

The guides for setting up connections can be a little difficult to find the first tie you go looking for them, with most internet searches sending you to a contact us form page

My Review

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Overall we have had a positive experience but attention has to be given to data visualization or we will be forced to look at other competitors.

Pros:

The data warehouse capabilities and the amount of storage we get with our subscription is why we selected Grow.

Cons:

The data visualization features are below average. It feels like it's lacking basic functionality in this area.

Comments: I thought it was fine but not very impressive

Pros:

The UI is looks good / modern. Our use case for Grow was reporting a specific metric and it is a good tool for reporting.

Cons:

The filters are kind of finnicky and I found I would refresh them multiple times and get different values back after each refresh

Great visualization

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Was no a grow super-user, but enjoyed the visualization of data for me and for teams

Pros:

I used grow mostly to reference the data our teams were collecting about work and projects to see how we were doing. It was very interesting to see how our projects and goals really were making a difference in the business

Cons:

I felt like it broke sometimes where the numbers would forget where they were being pulled from, we would go in a reconnect what needed to be reconnected and it would be good to go again. It was an easy fix, but the breaking did happen every once in a while

For beginners and advanced users

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I like that you can either use the tools given to you as a beginner or dig deeper and use the advanced tools like PostgreSQL to really bring your dashboards to life. The customizations are great for the charts. I like that I can dump information in there and extract it after transforming it (fixing it up). It's a lot faster than using Excel since the tools are already set up to do it all.

Cons:

Grow doesn't send anything out to their customers letting them know when updates are happening. They do have a support area with Epicor with news, but they should have something in place for the less tech savvy people out there. It seems they do a lot of updates (On one hand that's great because they're trying to keep things fresh, but on the other hand that means that things break more often).

Grow software is an easy way to gather data from multiple sources and combine into visual displays

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I am now able to pull data from multiple web based software services into one singular dashboard which gives me a snapshot of where we are today and also what we have done over the past few weeks. It is very easy to analyze trends, and make adjustments to the business in real time. It is also nice that you can switch between time frames easily to change up how much data to include.

Pros:

I was able to figure out how to pull data in and get graphs set up fairly easily. I didn't need outside support to do it, was pretty intuitive.

Cons:

Some of the graphing options are limited so you really have to play with the settings to get the data to display the way you want it to. Could have more options.

Data Solution To Track Performance

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: It has changed my life to analyze our marketing campaigns across all of our major channels. It aids in the data's visual analysis for us. reporting that is easily shareable and editable across multiple platforms in one location.

Pros:

The majority of the integrations that most users require are present. Reporting that is simple to prepare and has all the data you need to see metrics and figures. It enables everyone on the team to create goals and is highly configurable.

Cons:

It occasionally seems a little odd. Learning how to create metrics required a lot of time. I really wish there was a tool that kept a live, dynamic list of corporate benchmarks.
