Reviews of Weebly
Excellent for the price
Comments: I was able to take my web project from idea to publication in just a few days thanks to the powerful tools included in the free plan. I was then able to easily scale by upgrading my site with more pages, advanced eCommerce features, and a custom domain by upgrading to a paid plan. The support and documentation were also excellent in resolving any issues or concerns. I would definitely recommend Weebly to any person or organization looking for a low-cost and efficient website building solution
Pros:
What I liked most about Weebly was its powerful drag-and-drop visual builder. It allowed me to easily create a complex site structure with multiple pages and sections using just my mouse. Its clean and well-organized interface made the design process highly intuitive. Additionally, the numerous Responsive themes and templates helped me quickly bring my ideas to life and ensure my site looks and works well from any device
Cons:
What I liked least was the limited code customization. Although the visual editor covers most needs, experienced web developers miss the ability to inject custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to create completely unique designs. However, I understand that this goes against Weebly's no-code approach to allowing anyone to create a professional website

Weebly solid web tool great value

Pros:

Cons:
inetegrations were limited - dasboard was just ok
Best for Personal Use
Comments: It is effective to use among small groups and allows for information to be easily stored and accessed, though it is hard to have an attractive design.
Pros:
The interface is easy to navigate. It allows you to quickly create a website for personal or professional use.
Cons:
While the interface is easy to navigate, it is difficult to create a sleek and modern design using the platform. It would be difficult for an organization to make a very attractive website using this platform.

Great for Entry Level
Comments: I think it's great for entry level websites and web design.
Pros:
It’s very easy to use and the customer service was very good.
Cons:
It was difficult to integrate with HUBspot and doesn’t have the ability to customize to an LMS.

Weebly is a good starter website builder
Comments: Overall weebly is a good option to start a website. However, it will cost more to add features I feel should be included in the cost.
Pros:
Weebly is easy to use if you have no experience creating a website. They have several pre-made templates you can customize for your industry. The price is very reasonable as well.
Cons:
Features that were once free, now cost more. The mobile version is not very user friendly.

Great Choice for E-Commerce Businesses
Comments: I've ran my website through Weebly for about four years, and overall I've been very happy with its features. I've had a few hiccups along the way with the platform, but I am still very satisfied and intend to stick with them.
Pros:
Weebly is easy to use and customize, so I was able to create an excellent website with little past experience. Also, adding new products is super fast and simple, which is crucial for my jewelry business.
Cons:
The platform is quite glitchy, crashing out on mobile regularly. It is also quite expensive. The only premium feature I needed was the custom domain, yet I still had to pay $30.00 a month extra.

I've Been Using Weebly Since Childhood, Here's What I Think
Comments: Weebly has a special place in my life, as I essentially grew up with the brand. It's a perfect website builder for those that need small, personal websites or student project websites. For those with more intensive needs, I may suggest looking elsewhere. However, Weebly still gets the job done.
Pros:
I like the simplicity of Weebly that allows even a middle school student to set up a website with ease. In fact, I made my first websites with Weebly in middle school, and still have one Weebly website as an adult. The drag-and-drop builder makes Weebly a premier choice for beginners.
Cons:
As the years pass, Weebly seems to be behind the times with regard to new features. For example, I asked years ago if Weebly would ever get video backgrounds like their competitor, Wix. It was "still in the works," but I don't think that feature has been implemented yet.

Business Owner using it for 3 different businesses
Comments: Clean and simple. We've used it for 3 of our businesses. Super easy platform.
Pros:
Simplicity. Very easy to use and drage and drop system.
Cons:
Unfortunately, going back after you adjust something is a challenge. It's not as simple as a "back" button
Stream lines my business uploads
Comments: Love it. I am so happy that they have an app that I was able to install from the Apple Store.
Pros:
Being able to run my website from my iPad is HUGE! Such an easy program to use with Square. They knocked this out of the park.
Cons:
I have not ran into anything that I do not like yet. I have been using the app for about a month at the time of this review.
Free website builder
Pros:
You can create a nice website in a short amount of time.
Cons:
I wish there were more customisable templates
J.L. Weebly Review
Comments: Weebly is a website builder that I've used as my first ever website builder when I had little to no knowledge on how to code in order to create a website from scratch. On the good side, the software was very welcoming to me as its user-friendly interface suited me perfectly on how to start my website building process. From customizing templates and text to images and other types of content, it was very efficient financially to name one.
Pros:
I can use Weebly's drag-and-drop interface which makes it easy for me to design websites that I want to create without needing any coding knowledge.
Cons:
While Weebly is a free and easy-to-use, their design options are limited when compared to to other website builders, like GoDaddy for example.
Weebly: Unveiling the Power of WYSIWYG for 24/7
Pros:
Weebly allocates WYSIWYG editor and drag and drop functionality which makes it fast to design websites and online stores.
Cons:
It is quite pricey to register domain at Weebly.
Definitely for Non-Coders
Comments: Helped a client set up a webstore by creating several pages and adding custom styling to them. Was pretty easy to learn (this was my first try at using the site editor). The preview mode is quirky (using an iframe) and the site editor's navigation is a little hard to understand at first.
Pros:
Layout sections are easy to set up and adapt well with content. Seems to be very responsive out of the gate.
Cons:
No place for custom CSS. No versioning of changes. One really annoying thing: if you get logged out while in the Weebly site editor (logged in as a Square user), it doesn't direct you back to Square's login. Not sure why it asks you to sign into weebly. This confused the hell out of me several times since I don't have a Weebly account and had to backtrack to find the Square login.
Basic and user friendly
Comments: I used weebly for years but I recently moved to square space because it looks more sophisticated
Pros:
It was relatively easy to use and I think it was accessible for a first time website user
Cons:
I don’t think it’s very flexible or polished looking
Good, basic, and inexpensive content management system.
Comments: We used it for years, mainly due to the time cost of switching, but found other platforms we used more smooth, elegant, and better looking design.
Pros:
Low cost, easy to use, and some useful integrations.
Cons:
Clunky user interface, not smooth as compared to other CMS solutions.
Overall good for beginners
Comments: It is not as much good as other website builders. Other websites builders provide you full control and variety of customization options but weebly doesn’t. If you are a beginner, you can opt for weebly for learning.
Pros:
it's a very good platform for users to build websites easily providing free to paid plans. Best for the beginners who don’t know coding or find coding difficult.
Cons:
It has limited phone support and very few customization options for website building. Ads are another drawback that comes with free plan unless you upgrade to a paid plan.
Weebly Time ⌚
Comments: Would recommend to all to switch great style
Pros:
The system is great easy to navigate around would change a thing
Cons:
Customer service center could be more direct
Not suitable for African markets
Comments: I left it for another product because it always drained my data. Not suitable / refuse to update website using phone. I know it's because of low speed internet in Africa.
Pros:
It's easy to use, drag and drop on the computer. It has a free version which was invaluable for our social soccer team.
Cons:
It is not very easy to update the website on the phone.
One of the best user-friendly sitebuilders on the web
Comments: Weebly is by far the best website editor I've used since I started having interest in owning a website. The editor is very user friendly and its quite easy to set up multiple webpages; although the hyperlink has a .weebly.com tag in it, Weebly can be a great start if you're looking to build a website and don't know too much HTML and coding; highly recommend! There are a couple things that may need changing though. There's a lot of white space in the side margins of the website, and this may differ depending on the monitors used; despite how much content you may have on that webpage, everything on the website is centered to the middle of the page (it would be nice to edit the side margins to remove that white space.Another thing with enabling a custom domain, and enabling SSL security for it, is that the tutorial I feel is slightly outdated; ended up contacting GoDaddy support to find out how to set it up as the tutorial for it on Weebly didn't help much.It would also be nice to edit the mobile version of the website as the difference between the desktop version and mobile is crazy; its very squished and images for some reason appear enlarged compared to the desktop version. It doesn't look very appealing on mobile. My final note is that its quite expensive to enable all features of the website. It's not too bad to remove Weebly's ads and enable a custom domain with GoDaddy (or another similar provider), but again, make sure you're able to afford the upgrade
Pros:
> Easy to use> Updates new changes quickly on the website> Multiple available apps to integrate, and easy to apply or remove from the editor> Customer support is reliable> No limitations to how much content you can have on the website> Settings easy to configure> Multiple options to set up custom domains> Multiple theme options to choose from (although more options/layouts could be better)> Ability to change defaults for fonts, font colour, style and size in theme options> Easy to "clean up" the website to look appealing
Cons:
> Expensive to unlock all features for the site (including ecommerce, removing Weebly's ads, custom domain, etc.)> A lot of white space on the side margins of the editor, especially if the website is slightly zoomed out.> Setting up a custom domain using GoDaddy or another provider is a slightly tedious process to finish - with another owned website and domain, it took around 3-4 days to enable SSL security.> You're not able to edit the mobile version of the website

Pros:
Easy to build my website, very user friendly
Cons:
It is a little outdated compared to other
A necessity can one day become a luxury
Comments: A true happy camper I was with my first landing page. Weebly helped put my company on the map.
Pros:
It doesn't get much easier than this - the ease of use - step by step, point and you shall receive -wysiwyg is truly the unwritten motto here.
Cons:
Weebly kept things simple, yet innovated to keep up with the times. There's no cons in my book, as I strongly believe that the talent behind the technology was ahead of its time back then, while now it can't come back fast enough.

My Weebly review
Comments: Weebly helps me learn and I think it's a great place for people to start
Pros:
I learned to build websites and do SEO on weebly and found it straight forward and easy.
Cons:
Sometimes it's a little glitchy, but usually they fix the issues relatively quickly
Feels outdated
Comments: Weebly is the host for my art website. I do not use it for commerce, and the only reason I haven't switched to another software is how much effort it would take.
Pros:
I liked Weebly when I first began using it many years ago - it was easy to use and had lots of options for customization.
Cons:
While I feel Weebly used to be a great choice, it has been surpassed by other website building software. What used to be easy to use now feels clunky and the options look dated. Making changes to the website that Weebly hosts are complicated and don't look good.
Friendly website builder
Pros:
Drag-and-drop functionality is available.Affordable pricing plans with no transaction fees.
Cons:
No option to export website to another platform.
Good for startups
Pros:
Drag-and-drop interface for easy website creation.Mobile-responsive design for seamless viewing on all devices.
Cons:
Not enough customization options for advanced users.
