Best ATS for recruiting firms!
Comments: I couldn't be more happy with the transition to Crelate from our previous product. Their team truly understands the problems we are trying to solve and is extremely responsive. Their feature set continues to increase rapidly and is always very relevant.
Pros:
Several items: - ease of configuration and customization - profile parsing from LinkedIn - job board management / website integration - email sync and candidate communication management - analytics - speed and relevance of new feature release - extensive help resources, training videos, etc.
Cons:
- exporting data is not straightforward and requires additional vendor developer cost -

Crelate Makes Recruiting Easier
Comments: We focus on legal recruiting with a team of 5 and we love it. We're able to collaborate and it's helpful to support our search processes.
Pros:
The recruiting side of the platform is incredibly easy to setup and navigate. It's easy to customize and keep yourself organized for your searches. I think it's user friendly and great for people that work solo or in team.
Cons:
The sales side of Crelate is slowly getting better as they work on it. It's less easy to navigate making calls quickly to Sales contacts with how they have it setup. I believe they are in the process of improving this.
Alternatives Considered: Loxo
Reasons for Choosing Crelate: Bullhorn was a dinosaur and we had to double enter a lot of information.
Switched From: Bullhorn ATS & CRM
Reasons for Switching to Crelate: Crelate was clearly the best choice for us after getting a demo and the team was easy to work with. The pricing was also manageable.

It's ok, but it isn't great
Comments: Their US based support is pretty good. My encounter with offshore support wasn't. Certain things that should be part of the base package are not such as email journaling across multiple domains.
Pros:
Visually appealing. Pretty easy to use. Support is decent. It especially helps if you send a video so they can see what you're seeing.
Cons:
Seems like they try to nickel and dime you for everything. As recruiting has evolved, you would think things that should be part of their base package would be there. Instead, they want you to upgrade to a higher level offer to get those things even thought they raise their price every year. If you import records via csv you can only import 100 records per worksheet and 1,000 records per workbook at one time. There is also a limit on the number of records you can export from the database at one time.

Crelate is a quality CRM
Comments: Great! Their tech support team is incredibly responsive and provides quick updates tailored to our requests. The CRM is great if you're looking to track applicants, post jobs, screen talent, as well as provide robust options to create a sales funnel.
Pros:
Internal tracking of all related activities for candidates and companies.
Cons:
Mobile application does not display as much information compared to the web portal. Viewing a resume requires you to download the file on the mobile app.
Crelate: Don't do anything until you Read this!
Comments:
I have used & tested several online databases and without a doubt have found Crelate the best for our agency. We used Crelate in 2015 and again in 2024 it is completely night and day in the affirmative. Do NOT hesitate to use Crelate.
The Support team are fantastic, and the onboarding and training, one-on-one is very good.
You will not regret being supported by Crelate. We love it. BullHorn doesn't compare.
Pros:
What did I like? the ease of getting around and the relationships in the database. The one major plus's is collecting all the references, documents and resumes of any candidate at once. Uploading multiple candidates at once, email marketing. Submittals to clients, Client portal making it easier to communicate with the client, Integration with our ESP, Advertising the jobs on Social media, and websites alike...the video training on the usage of the software and the best of all is the Support team, they are without a doubt the most valuable part when you need an answer ASAP...I could go on and on and on.
Cons:
I don't know if this is a Con because of the sheer learning curve on my half. This software is so powerful one can tend to be overwhelmed by how to approach each subject and get up to speed. So the speed of using the application is down to the user.
Alternatives Considered: Zoho Recruit, RecruitBPM, PCRecruiter and CEIPAL ATS
Reasons for Switching to Crelate: Support and no nickel and diming the customer for add-ons when the add-ons were part of the standard product
