A great MDM - Worth the move from our MS product

Pros:

The settings and abilities are, so far, lightyears beyond what Intune was able to do, in terms of locking down devices and making them both more manageable and more secure.

Cons:

Importing devices from one MDM to this new platform is a bit clunky and not necessarily intuitive, however their Support team, who was available by chat right on the same screen, was a huge boon and was ready with screenshots and clear directions.

Superb Customer Service Experience with Manage Engine

Comments: Manage Engine's customer service is among the best I have ever encountered. Every team member has understood my request and answered my questions promptly, or identified a team member who can. The product is extremely easy to deploy and use.

Pros:

First, it's simplicity. It took minutes to setup the service on the first device, and only a few hours to learn the system well enough to develop policies for use in our business.

Cons:

There were a few occasions where I had to contact customer service to explain an issue I thought could be found in the documentation, but wasn't. But the customer service team is excellent, so this was less of a problem than it could have been.

Review of MDM

Pros:

Policies Easy to create, App Management is ok, Deprovisions easy to do, option to remove pins and reset codes, reporting was good

Cons:

cant do updates to test groups, updates were pushed to all phones, looping Auto deployment had issues with users, had to manually do every phone, Support really unhelpful always going in circles and constantly getting fed up

A powerful tool

Comments: MDM+ has given me a powerful tool to manage our company devices that not only support IT admin but also end users in daily basis when security matter is getting more important.

Pros:

Set of tools to support IT admin in management task

Cons:

One 1 IT admin account (pay more for additional IT admin account)

Alternatives Considered: Microsoft Intune

Reasons for Choosing ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus: Price policy of them is unacceptable. Customer support is also not excellent as expectation

Switched From: IBM Security MaaS360

Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus: Customer service of MDM+ is faster than others (quotation delivery, onsite meeting... presale jobs seems good). While technical specification of others (MaaS 360 & Intune) is not enough to overcome MDM+ to reconsider

Comments: The overall experience has been positive. Being able to manage devices by creating policies that promotes end-user compliance with company best practices ensure sensitive data is more secure and limits breach from an unauthorize user.

Pros:

For a small business it with less that 25 mobile/portable devices it currently let us to fully manage all of them without restrictions. We are currently looking to expand as we evaluate.

Cons:

The layout could be friendlier by better navigation. It has the appearance to be overwhelming, however you'll be able to find what you are looking for. The instructions videos did include good details however, it doesn't fully match current layout mostly due to updates.

Great tool for IT Device Management

Comments: We just recently started evaluating ManageEngine MDM Plus and from the demo and our hand on experience, it is a great tool to add to our IT team arsenal. It allows us to manage devices on all OS. The enrollment process is easy and features are easy to use.

Pros:

Containerization of business profile which makes it easy to manage BYOD devices without affecting personal data

Cons:

So far ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager has met all of our requirements

Pros:

Ease of deployment and app management. Simple and friendly UI.

Cons:

Managing windows devices is not so simple.

Good product for what you get

Comments: It has been great and I have very few negatives

Pros:

That it is free for 25 devices and it includes app deployment

Cons:

If you are not a paid customer, you cannot get adequate support using the product, you have to be a paid customer or if not you can only use the self help tools

Comments: This does alot more than our current platform so has been a big step forward.

Pros:

The system is very easy to use and has a good clutter free and intuative dashboard interface.

Cons:

We haven't found anything yet so far. all positive at the moment.

MEMDM PLUS - Simpley Powerful

Comments: We are a custom Industrial and Commercial Android tablet provider. We support our clients who use MDMs and we recommend MDMs for clients to consider.

Pros:

The system guided me quickly and seamlessly through creating creating a user, its group and associated policy straight into provisioning the device with just a few minutes. Quickest setup I've ever experienced.

Cons:

We deal with a number of AOSP based non GMS supported boards running any number of Android Releases between 7-12 and working with AFW/Google Enterprise has been a challenge.

Alternatives Considered: Hexnode UEM, Esper, Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Intune

Managing and controlling company-owned mobile devices through an MDM product is much easier. MDM has been very useful in office environments with high employee turnover. I always prefer technical controls over administrative controls, which is why I highly recommend the ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager product

I didn't find anything that not helpful in MDM so far

Manage Engine Mobile Device Management (Cloud)

Comments: We solved issues of missing devices, compliance, security and document control on tablets.

Pros:

We liked everything with the software, it's help us maintain our compliance and security on our tablet fleet across about 25 sites.

Cons:

There is a medium learning curve on the product, you'll need a few days with it hands on with devices to test and learn the system with.

Remote access control and asset tracking are made very easy with a simple agent install initially

Great Platform to Manage Devices

Comments: Overall it's a very good platform for managing the devices and enrolling the new devices as well as managing policies. The mdm mobile app is also very intuitive to users.

Pros:

Very easy to use once you get used to the platform. It's well designed and well maintained. Even adding policies is very simple to use.

Cons:

Figuring out how to get started was a little time consuming. Especially how to upload apk, how to distribute the apk, etc. But once we understood, it became very easy.

Why I Use ManageEngine MDM

Comments: Since the product was new to me. It did take me a little while to understand how it works. The product has been rock solid. The support that you have with a person through KB articles is phenomenal. You're always a phone call away when you need support.

Pros:

This MDM solution provides all the bells and whistles that I need. It is also very easy to use for administration. The integration with ABM makes things so easy. Since we're an Apple shop ABM integration is a must!

Cons:

The only con that I can think of is making sure your certificates are up to date. This is a security procedure that is extremely necessary. However, if you don't use the software often like daily or weekly. You need to make sure that your certificates for ABM don't expire on you.

Great for our Android Devices

Comments: Overall experience has been great. Support is quick and responsive.

Pros:

We needed something to manage Android Tablets for our school and most of it seemed relatively easy to use. Was able to figure out a lot on my own with the guides.

Cons:

I think the only thing that I found annoying was that support is located in a time zone behind me (I am in New Zealand), so when I work on a Monday, I don't get a support response until late Monday afternoon or evening.

Best MDM in the market!

Comments: I believe it is a great product that will help my school manage and secure devices. I can manage my mobile fleet from one portal.

Pros:

I love the ability to manage android and apple device from one place.

Cons:

It takes time for apps to load but eventually they populate.

Functionality is Great and Easy to Use!

Pros:

Great Product and Functionalities. It's easy to deploy endpoint policies and customer service is responsive and willing to listen and provide immediate solution/advice when facing issues.

Cons:

Interface can be improved, I need to switch to different devices list to check the agent deployment status. I think it's a good thing if the devices and all their details are within a single page only.

Apple Product Management Choice

Pros:

Simplicity of Apple Business Manager integration and corporate asset enrollment.

Cons:

The dashboard does require some education when it comes to device management.
