The apps also can handle almost all RDMS including no-SQL database. This software also claims can handle DB2 for iSeries (AS400) with some limitation. SymmetricDS community edition is free to download and use without web admin console and support. Then it can be used for almost all databases with minimal cost. JumpMind as the principal company also provide commercial support for enterprise version. This version also have a nice web administration console, but it required user with some additional technical skills to configure and use this apps. We recommend you to use the SymmetricDS enterprise version to get faster implementation than using the community edition. > > **Cons**: SymmetricDS use trigger database to handle change data capture so the data can be replicate and sync. Because of that mechanism, SymmetricDS will create lot of system table and trigger for each table instead of the original application table/s to manage their sync processes. Some user have concern with this mechanism issue.
