> **Pros**: Having all shared documents in one location on cloud-based software has been instrumental in effective team work. Having the ability to create multiple folders and also manage them based on security and permissions has significantly decreased the number of emails with potentially confidential attachments. All users who understand and are comfortable with SharePoint love the ability to search for specific documents rather. Furthermore, having the ability to use it on a web based platform as well as having "folders" within Windows allows users to use the software in an individualized way. We have folders that are accessible to only 4 employees and some that are accessible to 20 employees and they both function well.

> **Cons**: The largest issue with SharePoint is the learning curve. It can be quite difficult for new users to navigate, specifically those who are less tech savvy. The inability to customize the software based on user can at times be difficult to manage. While SharePoint is a Microsoft product, it can be confusing to employees that they potentially have two places to save documents (OneDrive and SharePoint). Unfortunately, larger libraries can be slower when searching and/or syncing.

> Overall SharePoint is a beneficial program within the workplace for group file management. This program works for small groups as well as larger groups and can be controlled based on user permissions which allows the ability to set up multiple libraries. Unfortunately there can be a rather steep learning curve for new users and larger libraries do not perform to the same level as smaller ones.

> **Pros**: Integrates with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) and has good version control and collaboration once it’s working.  It provides a&#10;centralized document storage instead of multiple shared drives that is &#10;accessible remotely without our VPN.

> **Cons**: Not easy to set up or maintain — permissions, structure, and governance get complicated quickly.  Does not behave like a normal network drive, which causes issues with systems that expect file‑server access. Our ERP software cannot see SharePoint files, which forces workarounds or duplicate storage&#10;Syncing via OneDrive is unreliable with large or complex folder structures&#10; and requires ongoing IT involvement to keep things running smoothly

> **Pros**: I like how easy it is to collaborate on files with colleagues, it saves a lot of time and back and forth. The fact that it is seamlessly integrated into MS 365 is very helpful, and I like that we can give access to external teams/clients in order to collaborate with them as well. The interface is intuitive and effective at managing multiple sites, files and documents throughout our organization.

> **Cons**: I find that the file sharing can be unreliable sometimes and links don't always work, especially externally - but acknowledge that part of this is due to our security settings. I also find that the integration into file explorer is not always quick to update and can cause version control issues.

> Overall, I think this is a great product that seems to be universally used across my industry. The ability to host all of our organization's files in one shared/common place is worth the occasional bug/issue. It is an indispensable app for us.
