Reviews of Dayforce HCM

One of the most advanced HRIS platforms
Comments: I like that it works with Microsoft Office and that we can connect it to other systems via several different application programming interfaces. Their most recent updates have been great, and I can't wait to try out the next things they've been hinting at.
Pros:
Dayforce HCM is used for new hire processing and health insurance enrollment. Our company processes three different payrolls for its different employee types (Union, Exempt, and Non-Exempt).
Cons:
There is a unique Employee Number for each worker. It combines the two into one cohesive whole while making reports. To properly divide them, I must always use the Text to Columns function in Excel. If they could be separated straight away, it would be great.

Comments: I love the software platform. I was the project leader during implementation and have been the Administrator since. This is in addition to the Payroll Manager, Benefits Manager, Leave of Absence Administrator and Entitlements Manager. I could not do all of this if the software was exceptional.
Pros:
Dayforce is fully integrated and offers real-time data. The features are easy to use and understand. There is full transparency for both managers and employees. There is a full arsenal of reporting and dashboard options so downloading information is easy. While customization costs, it is an effective way to ensure that the look and feel convey your environment.
Cons:
Any changes needed to your set up result in very high priced change orders, even when the change requested is because of Ceridian issue. The service time for these change projects can sometimes be in excess of 6 months.
Do not purchase you will regret
Comments: Crap. it was an empty shell of a product that we have weekly to monthly calls with executive team members saying how sorry they were, but with little to no resolution
Pros:
Time keeping and PTO tracking. everything else was crap
Cons:
Everything. Customer service was crap. and their knowledge of their system was non existent. they learned their own product from the users like me. after I put a case in with no response I solved it myself, then they were calling me asking how i fixed it so they could fix it for other users.
Alternatives Considered:
We use Dayforce for all our payroll activities.
Comments: Our entire organization has been using Dayforce now for several years. It is user friendly and can be learned quickly even by our employees who are not very tech savvy.
Pros:
Dayforce is a "one for all" program that handles all of our workforce time tracking and scheduling needs.
Cons:
I have found that management approvals through the app are not quite as easy as they are online.
Easy-to-use HR software with top-notch customer service
Comments: Any issues that we find to be problematic are dealt with by Dayforce. There are no outstanding problems at the moment. Now that Hub is available, we're excited to find out how our business can make the most of it. Ceridian is developing exciting new offerings, such as survey tools that gauge employee engagement automatically.
Pros:
Dayforce is simple to use and provides instant access to the data I need every day. WFM makes it easy to keep tabs on worker hours, handle payroll, and enter new employees or rehires.
Cons:
When dealing with a problem, it helps to have the ability to quickly process tickets. Users' participation in the setup and the interest of individuals who will be using the modules are crucial.
