For a smaller company, this high fee isn't realistic. Wish there were a way to integrate with Quickbooks Online. Using AI, it accurately parses data from a variety of layouts with only the very rare error. Sometimes pulls data from the wrong location or recognizes a numeral as something other than what it is. But, overall, it is amazing and accurate. Saves hours of time per week. The platform constantly freezes. It allows you to start working on a mobile device, which is important for people who do not have time to sit at a computer, and then later tells you to use a computer instead. After I spent a significant amount of time working on my document, the platform simply deleted all of my extracted data. Even worse, the credits/pages were still consumed after my work disappeared. This was a complete waste of my time and potentially my money. After this experience, I seriously question how representative the positive reviews are. Maybe it works for very small, simple documents, but for serious business or financial document processing, I absolutely do not recommend Lido. > > **Cons**: The lack of transparency. My experience with this platform felt deceptive. I uploaded important and sensitive financial information from my business, Lido consumed my credits, and then all of the extracted data disappeared. That immediately raised a serious concern for me: if my extracted business data disappeared from my spreadsheet, where are the documents and extracted information now? I was left with no data, fewer credits, wasted time, and no clear explanation of what happened to my information. A company handling business and financial documents should be far more transparent about data retention, deletion, recovery, and credit usage. Based on my experience, I do not trust this platform and I strongly recommend that others think twice before uploading important business or financial documents to it. > > The worst platform I have ever used for this type of work. Even free tools like ChatGPT have been significantly more useful and reliable for me than Lido. I spent a considerable amount of time uploading and configuring an important financial document, only for the platform to freeze repeatedly and eventually make all of my extracted work disappear while still consuming my page credits. The Undo function did not recover it. I was left with an empty spreadsheet after investing my time and providing sensitive business financial documents. This was an extremely frustrating experience and a complete waste of time.
