Fantastic product with the best customer service

Comments: It has been a great experience. We have had nothing but great service from the get-go with them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of solution.

Pros:

Keycafe not only had the best price point of all the boxes we looked at, during our search but their customer service blew us away. They were always quick to respond, super helpful and never pushy to try to oversell or brag about the product. It has been a great experience since day one.

Cons:

Given that it needs to be wirelessly connected to the internet, our wireless infrastructure, we sometimes experience a drop with our connection that the odd time results in a box not opening, its an easy fix from the admin console.

Highly recommend!

Comments: Overall, my eperience was positive. Aside from the shipping hiccup, we also had an issue with one of the key boxes once it did arrive. There was some clear quality control issues with the batch of boxes we received. Keycafe was easy to work with on this point and promptly replaced any non-working items.

Pros:

The fact that you can remotely manage the system. You are able to manage all of your keys (permissions, naming, grouping, etc.) via the website, as well as remotely give access to someone for one key or multiple keys if needed. The system also keeps great audit logs so it is easy to track down the lasat person to have a key checked out.

Cons:

Length of time it took to receive the product once we made the purchase. There was a significant delay on shipping and the exact set up we ordered was on backorder, so they offered a slightly different set up for a slightly reduced rate.

Great Solution for Hotel Key Control

Comments: Keycafe allows us to provide every user with a unique access code and designated bays for each key set along with report tracking and notification of unreturned keys. It fit all of the needs we wanted in a key tracking system

Pros:

Keycafe intuitive interface makes it easy to use for a broad audience especially in our case for a hotel associate team. Our property was online and using the system, less than a day after the equipment arrived on property. Customer service and technical support has been on point and attentive. Not only with response to technical issues, but multiple follow-up to ensure product success. The setup cost and ongoing expense are very competitive when compared to other available options and a main reason Keycafe drew our attention when considering a key management system.

Cons:

We initially had issues with network connectivity, but our IT team worked with Keycafe to resolve issue in a couple of hours. Given the size of some our key rings in a hotel environment, the bay size on the key café can be challenging to fit certain department keys. We have had to be creative with key sets for our maintenance team.

Comments: good, although it is not perfect it has solved a lot of our problems with our companies vehicle management

Pros:

cost effective, easy to install, lots of functionality.

Cons:

-when it disconnects its struggles to reconnect and can go down for a few minutes. Therefor it needs a strong Wi-Fi connection. Though the additional cellular kit has been working well so far but it has taken a while to get it working. -Additionally, the key locks can jam easily if people put the keys in wrong. -occasional errors where it says a key is or isn't in the box. So, the system needs to be cleared once a day.

Comments: For the price and functionality this by far has been the best product we purchased that had a direct impart on our organization.

Pros:

The ease of implementation and the ability to deployed quickly allowed us to inventory all of our keys and provide our staff with access 24/7 which was not available until now.

Cons:

Not really a con but it took us some time to determine how to deploy our keys but once we decided it took less than a day to have all keys tagged and ready for check-out.

Comments: We are totally in love with our keycafe box. It helped us not to lose key anymore and made all day to day operation more smooth. But we also had the great surprise to discover it could help us with the company credit card and our share computers.

Pros:

Super easy to install and use. Helped us to resolve many issues we had.

Cons:

Sometime when employee are not attentive they can close a box on a key and it block the door. Also, if they change their mind and don't remove the key it look like the box is empty and we need to do some research next time to find the key.

Pros:

Very easy to use, easy setup, and helps just manage our spare vehicle fleet.

Cons:

If you don't get the keys in just right the doors will jam. Maybe make a little bigger compartments but it is usually caused by user error not product error.

Great System for Key and Fleet Management

Comments: We love Keycafe. Customer service is top notch-we once had a hardware issue and customer support was able to walk us step-by-step over the phone to get the problem resolved.

Pros:

The ability to group keys to different permission categories is great. This prevents occurrences such as unauthorized drivers from having access to vehicle keys, as well as prevents officers who aren't on patrol from accidentally taking patrol site keys. Another great feature is being able to track who last had possession of a key, and/or see whether or not it's been turned in yet.

Cons:

Initially we had a cellular service only keypad on the main box, and our office appears to be nearly a dead spot inside for cell service. This caused great lag in picking up or dropping off keys. Once we switched over to a wi-fi enabled keypad, it's been nothing but easy going since then!

Pros:

I like the fact that the employees that have offices have a key and the extra key is in the key cafe. Many times they forget key or not in the office and someone needs to get into their office.

Cons:

Not too many. When the power goes out in the building and we need to get into our Electrical Room the Key Cafe doesn't work. Just a few steps to trouble shoot to receive the code.

The setup and dashboard is very user friendly and integrates well with the mobile app. The ease of setup of the boxes and all the keys is straight forward and common sense. I love being able to track our keys, create the accountability and know we are not purchasing replacements.

Great Key Solutions

Comments: We researched multiple key systems, and this was the best out there. Great price, all i can say is that we tried 1 box and then quickly ordered 10 more full setups.

Pros:

What we were looking for in a key system, this checks all the boxes. The ability to control every aspect of the key, when it goes out, who can get it, and notifying us when returned. That what we are looking for. A plus is the mobile app that you can access everything on your phone is amazing.

Cons:

Really the only thing that we don't like is that we started with one main unit and 18 key expansion boxes. We quickly ordered 10 full setups (main unit and expansion) for all of our offices. The Issue is the 4 weeks to receive the units. Not ideal but when you want the perfect system for you sometimes you have to wait a little.

KeyCafe is easy to set up, use, and maintain!

Comments: Our experience has been great. Keys are easy to keep track of. When someone is out sick, other people can get into the rooms because the keys are centrally stored. If a key is checked out we can easily determine who has it. If someone forgets their phone, they can use a code at the console to obtain keys.

Pros:

It is easy to set up and use. When we hire new staff, it is simple to add them to KeyCafe and then show them how to download the app and start checking out keys (or use a code or web login). The support is excellent as well as the written documentation!

Cons:

I have had to reinstall the phone app to fix an issue with checking out keys, but that happens from time to time with any app. There also was one time my staff was testing how to check out keys and he put the key back in without checking it back in--that caused a key box issue. It was easily fixed.

Accountability and Control

Comments: Overall, I'm a huge supporter of Key Cafe and I share my experience with my collogues on other projects within the company.

Pros:

I really appreciate the ability to easily control who has access to what vehicle. Customer service has been absolutely incredible to deal with as well. They assisted me through the entire set up and roll out and continue to check in with us on a regular basis.

Cons:

the initial set up was difficult but it had nothing to do with Key Cafe, we had it placed in a location with little to no cell service and the model we used was cellular enabled. With a call to customer support, they changed out the unit we had for one with Ethernet capability and the problem was solved in a couple days!

Pros:

One of the key strengths of KeyCafe lies in its intuitive and user-friendly interface. Navigating through the website is a breeze, making it easy for both property owners and users to manage and access keys efficiently. The dashboard is well-organized, providing a clear overview of key activity and allowing users to effortlessly carry out necessary tasks. More to this, their Customer service is exceptional they are always attentive and very well known with their products.

Cons:

While i dont have any other cons we get from KeyCafe in terms of service and or their utility dashboard, probably they can improve the design of their keybox which is for me is the least to worry about.
