Sports league management finally leaps past Web 1.0 design

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: SportNinja has been a delight to use from Day 1. Transitioning our league from our previous archaic system was smooth, and any hiccups were quickly addressed by the SN team. Adopting SN brought a host of new features to our league members who were thrilled to finally have a modern digital tool for staying connected to our programs.

Pros:

An incredibly intuitive, slick UI that is powerful enough to everything we need while being accessible to both management and end-users.

Cons:

Limited customization options if your sports league uses unusual competition structures or scoring systems.

SportNinja has expanded our reach and engagement with participants

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: SportNinja is a forward thinking company that's looking to change the expectations of what a traditional stat-based user experience looks like. While there's still plenty of runway before the finish line, they've demonstrated that product innovation is important to them.

Pros:

- Has provided us with a platform to engage with our participants through a mobile app, as well as web-based stat feeds. With integrated Attendance, Schedule widgets, custom profile pages, and communication features, we've also been able to expand upon our value proposition. - The web-based platform is very responsive and functions quickly, with the added feature of having the ability to see full schedules, standings, and stats pages on the back-end administration pages. - Scorekeeper is easily completed through the App, and the integrated attendance feature also is helpful in terms of pre-populating rosters.

Cons:

We're a unique case as we started working with SportNinja from inception and had some growing pains as we adopted the platform. That said, looking at where we are today, it's clear that the process for onboarding new leagues is far more seamless than it initially was, which is a testament to a lot of hard work.

Why we chose Sportninja

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Overall, we have nothing but good things to say. No platform will do absolutely everything precisely as you want. But what we've liked so far is the level of partnership that the Sportninja team has shown with our organization. When areas were discovered that may not work perfectly for our events, we were able to take a collaborative approach to problem solving and usually found an answer that would work for both teams. The support team is outstanding as well. [sensitive content hidden] have always made themselves easily reachable, to resolve real time issues when required and make time to brainstorm new ideas to make the platform better for us.

Pros:

The number one reason we chose SportNinja was the mobile functionality. This opened up the ability for end users to 'self-serve' manage their teams, scorekeepers to go paperless on game sheet entry and allowed users to have access to real time scoring/results.

Cons:

It's not a 'con', but we knew that there were areas of the platform that were so new and therefore had not been stress tested against our type of events. So far our pilot has gone quite well and has produced a number of opportunities for platform improvement.
