A day in the life of VMS

Comments: After using V3 I can't say enough of how V4 changes your working day, yes there are teething issues and something's that could work better but overall a good system not great just yet but good.

Pros:

Initial configuration and set up is simple and straight forward once you have the information at hand. System navigation is much improved on previous version resulting in 50% time saved on client config and tracking any issues raised. Daily transactional tasks are also easier due to the layout and detail available, from raising jobs, submitting/booking candidates and entering timesheet information is much improved. Overall V4 is a wonderful place to be!!

Cons:

After the initial client build for which there are many loaders for, once the information is in it's in. There's no way to update any information relating to Users, Job template information such as rates and rate overrides leaving massive amounts of manual corrections. Not having effective dates to and from is also an issue. Any changes to system settings are from that point in time not from a set date. Rates are most affected by this. In my mind rates changed from a point in time should update everything in the system up to approved timesheets. This would save many adjustments and incorrect payments. Rate set at different levels in the hierarchy can also complicate setup. It can be slow at times but mainly because I can be inpatient. I am though looking forward to the future and any future development which can elevate some of the above and if asked will help with that.

Comments: Overall V4 is a well built piece of tech, though it needs some QoL updates which would allow updates and creation of clients to be quicker. As well as clear documentation of the system and how data flows throughout the system.

Pros:

V4 is a very intuitive and simply laid out design which allows ease of use and ease in finding information.The flow of a candidate is easy to follow in the system due to the job ref being used in the placement and timesheet details.The display of jobs, placements, and timesheets is clear and precise.

Cons:

The speed to create a new client or update large numbers of users, job templates, etc. is too long and needs refining.

V4 Bridge VMS

Comments: Moving from V3 to V4, the V4 version is more user friendly and really easy to navigate,

Pros:

I am a new user of V4 Bridge VMS, it is simple to use, logical and makes our job easy! Support team during the transition from V3 have been extremely responsive with open and honest communication explaining what's happening and the time-scale to resolution.

Cons:

I personally didn't have a problem, a couple of colleagues had access issues
