Flow mapping made simple
Comments: Plot lets me quickly and easily map out my Lifecycle flows, no matter which channel the message is going out of, and share those flows with people outside of my team - in a way that is easy to understand but doesn't withhold any information that would be helpful.
Pros:
I've been using Plot since they were in Beta to map out flows - including all of the checks, splits, and message previews. Its what sold me on Plot and it is what I use weekly - to update flows or more often to share out how the flows are functioning with team members outside of the Lifecycle team.
Cons:
When I first started using Plot about a year ago there were some features that I really wanted - one I remember was the ability to connect the two branches of a split... I talked with [sensitive content hidden] from Plot and within a few weeks that feature was built and in Plot. From my experience, Plot isn't missing any features that I would use on a regular basis... and even if it was, I'm confident that the team at Plot would quickly get those new features added.
I don't know how we managed before Plot!
Comments: Plot has been useful for our small email team but I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly our writers and designers adopted it. We collaborate async on multiple projects at once and everything feels seamless.
Pros:
I love the fact that I no longer have to use a combination of google docs, miro board, slide decks, and excel sheets to manage our lifecycle flows. This is the tool I would have created myself if I had the skill and it's something I always thought was needed in the lifecycle space so I'm just grateful that it exists.
Cons:
Plot doesn't integrate with our ESP (Braze), but I believe that's on the roadmap. It would be nice to pull in analytics but I wouldn't consider that a con—I just felt like I had to write something here!
A+++++++++ Best omnichannel collaboration and management on the market
Pros:
Being able to visualize and plan lifecycle flows while creating content for each step is what the marketing automation world needed. This solution is the go to for digital creatives and moving projects along to production environments.
Cons:
I have not found any cons of this solution at this point.
