Hi FX Bayu, thanks for taking the time to review! We don't get a lot of requests for a desktop version of Baserow, but if our community members are interested, it's something we can look into. In the meantime, there are some solutions that turn web apps into "native" apps using wrappers. Suggest looking into that if it's of interest. Regarding views: Baserow has Grid (table) Kanban (board), and Calendar views available. Lastly: Be sure to enable rich text formatting when creating a Long Text field. That should help! –Hiram

Baserow is excellent
Comments: Overall the experience is very positive and there are people behind committed to making Baserow better.
Pros:
Baserow is simply excellent and we use it to manage all our marketing in one central place. It offers us an easy way to create a database, collect data and trigger automations via Make.com. Its a great and better alternative than Airtable. Also the fact that there is a self-hosted option, make this really attractive. We keep discovering new ways of using Baserow as we go, and we plan to use it as our central database to manage all kinds of activities.
Cons:
At some times it might be a bit cumbersome to understand how it works or to find the exact solution to your problem. However, we kept trying and thanks to the Baserow Community and their Support we always could figure it out.

Hi Jamie, thanks for your review! Baserow is mobile friendly on the web, so you can use it on any browser. With that said, if our community feels that that a native mobile app would be helpful, it's something we can dive further into. More views are coming (see the roadmap), and it'd be great to hear how we can improve search. Drop us a line in the Baserow Community and let's discuss! -Hiram

Hi Jader, thanks for your recommendation and review! It's possible to copy databases—simply click on the ellipses next to the database and then click 'Duplicate.' That'll do it. - Hiram

Good, and improving
Comments: I believe a lot in Baserow, it's clearly not perfect yet, but it's far more reliable than Airtable for many use-cases (anything that is "backend-powered"). The product team is doing a good job, the tech team has mostly made great design decisions. Stuff could be better, but they're listening to their customers. I like to compare Baserow to Airtable, because they're very much alike UI-wise, and are meant for the same people, those who aren't necessarily deeply technical but who know how to design a DB. It's much more simpler than Supabase/Xano, and with the recent addition of the App Builder (Beta), it will become even better and usable by many more people.
Pros:
- I love the fact it's open-source - Easy to deploy on self-hosted server - API is great and well designed - UI is good, although not as good as Airtable - Writing Formulas is a pain (UX can be improved) - Lookup/Rollup behave strangely with relationships - App Builder is the future
Cons:
- Airtable UI is better/faster - Airtable provide more features (sync tables)
