### "Pluses and Minuses if Newer Users in a Rural Area" — 3.0/5

> **Pros**: I like the reports; I also have found the phone and email support helpful. I am an Admin user who is responsible for the Hospice Item set. Submission of HIS is much easier than our previous EHR.

> **Cons**: Immediately after our Go-Live last summer, our nurse case managers were very frustrated. In retrospect we didn't get enough training in how to build encounters, and had oversold the use of offline charting - they do not like it and never use it. Also the hospice aides have experienced ongoing issues with the app.
> 
> One year in, longtime staff are more used to the system, but they feel they are double documenting at times. Internet is spotty in many locations and that is a challenge. Newer users are easier to train. Other ongoing problems have arisen with our billing, and we are not always able to get the assistance that we need. I'm hopeful that in the future we will have more staff satisfaction with the system, if some of the changes mentioned at the conference come to be.

> **Pros**: I enjoy all of the add on tools and integrations that help make our workflow more efficient. I love that it is web based and can be accessed on any device. There is always wonderful custom support. Documents are easy to retrieve through H\&amp;P and documentation is easy to find in encounter charting.

> **Cons**: Sometimes the system creates errors that aren't really errors in the charting portion. When creating an encounter it sometimes acts like it will create encounter and then doesn't and the "work around" is the select a different care plan problem to get system to not glitch. Sometimes the work arounds are frustrating vs fixes for the actual problems.
> 
> We have done several beta projects with WellSky and it's cool to see how everything can be connected. I am appreciative of support when there is a problem and quick responses.

> **Pros**: There is lots of opportunities to create what works for us. We can pick and choose the order of our assessment.

> **Cons**: There is no way to add our own content into the encounters. if there are specific questions or content we want addressed specific to our agency, we are unable to add that into the assessment.

> Over the years, we have had many bumps. Some of them very frustrating and some very minor. WellSky has offered to help throughout the entire process.
