> **Pros**: Safexpert is probably the most professionell software tool for risk assessment to use as a manufacturer especially for machinery safety according to 2006/42/EC and next 2023/1230. It is reliable, EN ISO 12100 conform, european standard connectivity, many useful options, basics are easy to handle but more depth for full conformity process within the tool. Also developers are putting a lot of effort in it to have it up-to-date, improving and running since 1994.

> **Cons**: Unfortunately, no cloud option. And it had some performance problems in the past.
Since the software offers so many options and ways to use it, a minimum training is recommended

> Using safexpert for over 10 years as a consultant and with many manufacturers, it is still the most reliable and prominent tool on the market. If you know how to do risk assessment accordingly, it offers a wide variety to make the work smarter and more efficient.

> **Pros**: It is useful for setting up a risk assessment and managing standards

> **Cons**: It is not user friendly. A lot of features that most do not use, but is giving more work to maintain it. I would not recommended this software.

> Support is not the best. I get the impression they don't really know how the software works and how certain bugs react. Yearly fee for maintenance. During update of the standards you are obligated to add about 400 more standards to your favourites so selecting a standard for your risk assessment will be complicated.

> **Pros**: Mit Safexpert lassen sich Risikobeurteilung deutlich übersichtlicher schreiben als z. B. in Excel. Die Nutzung ist intuitiv und flexibel. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten das Tool individuell zu Nutzen, man wird nicht durch vorgegebene Abläufe eingeschränkt. Es ist für viele unterschiedliche Anwendungszwecke Einsetzbar.

> **Cons**: Zeitweise kommt es zu Performanceproblemen, welche aber durch die letzten Updates schon deutlich verbessert wurden.
