For a company that markets itself as a partner to contractors, this felt more like a gotcha charge than a fair or transparent business practice. Especially frustrating as a New York customer, where auto-renewals are supposed to be clearly disclosed and communicated. If you use Hearth, set calendar reminders and watch your card closely.
