Good solution for project management. There should be a feature to sort entries in the card by tag.

5.0 3 weeks ago New

Comments: Ready-made templates are sufficient. However, integrations are a bit complicated. However, it is a platform where you can easily manage your projects or work with cards.

Pros:

It is the right choice to run our internal projects, to run joint projects and to control the work we do together with the customer. Its usage, integration and user interface are quite good.

Cons:

Color labels could be smaller. When you give 4-5 color labels to some works, horizontal rectangular color labels take up too much space. The most important deficiency in my opinion is this; each card has a sorting option, but it can only be sorted by name. It would be great if there was a sorting feature by color labels or label values. For example, we set price or download count as color labels. We should be able to sort by price or download count from the sorting options.

Trello as a second-brain platform

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: I have used Trello at many workplaces and environments and it has been found to help me be more effective at tracking my personal to-do lists as well as project-based tasks in addition to wider-ranging initiatives.
Overall, it helps serve as a second brain in many ways.

Pros:

Trello is a web-based project/task-management system enabling collaboration amongst teams. It can also be used individually to track both workflows as well as individual items within projects. This serves both vertical and horizontal project management perspectives. It is very easy to use and helps one track many projects across many workstreams.

Cons:

There is little to dislike about Trello. The tool is effective at helping one maximize their throughput.

Comments: I tried several project management tools before finding Trello and once I landed on Trello, I've never stopped using it. It's ease and compatibility with my ADHD brain makes it number one in my book!

Pros:

I love that this platform is easy to use, self-explanatory, and easily customizable.

Cons:

There needs a feature to highlight important info within the cards. I saw that there is some add-ons that would make this available but that negates the whole reason I use Trello - tech dummy friendly

Trello - Great for teams and managing the mess

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Overall the software did what we needed, tracking our team and showing our schedule timeline for software releases. Really a great tool for small teams looking to grasp their jobs and find a management system.

Pros:

Was great at managing teams and allowed us to see all the jobs we had on hand. We could categorise and add notes to make it visible which was most urgent.

Cons:

Trello had some limitations eg, not able to add graphs or visuale the data in maths terms. Still pleasant experience though.

It's my Trello, and I need it now!

4.0 3 months ago

Comments: I used it for 3 months every day. It's a great tool for task management, and the price for full access is comparable to its competitors like Todoist or Microsoft Planner.

Pros:

The navigation through the software, the compartmentalization of the how the tasks are set up. I also liked the accessibility settings. I was able to change the theme and background and really make it my own.

Cons:

I had to pay for full access. Most task management tools are similar in that aspect. I felt with Trello, there was less offered on the front end, and more offered on the back end for full access, compared to its competitors.

Best Project Management Software!

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: It's honestly hard to think of cons; I am extremely satisfied with this software. However, one issue I’ve encountered is the inability to post images solely in the comments—any image posted also gets added to the attachments. For my needs, I want images in comments to remain separate from those in attachments to avoid confusion and disorganization. If users had the option to keep images exclusive to the comment section, this software would be truly perfect.

Pros:

If you're not using Trello for task management, you should be. It's the best software out there for this purpose, incredibly easy to learn and master—I got the hang of it in just 5-15 minutes. Trello's ability to create unlimited lists to customize our workplace pipeline is invaluable. I can update my boss on task progress with a couple of clicks, and she instantly gets notified and provides feedback. I constantly use labels and checklists to track smaller details, ensuring we both fully understand the current status of tasks. My co-workers also use it, making it easy to check project statuses without having to ask them directly. This software has truly transformed the way I work, and I can't imagine going back to a time before Trello.

Cons:

It's honestly hard to think of cons, I am just extremely satisfied with this software. Although one I can think of is the inability to post images in just the comments, if you post an image, it will be added to the attachments as well. For my use case, I want images in the comments and images I add to the attachments to be separate as it can get a bit unorganized and confusing. If they let users have the option to keep an image exclusive to the comment section then the software would be truly perfect.

It's simple, easy to use and 'good enough' for most things

4.0 8 months ago

Comments: Great for project management for small teams

Pros:

The basic kanban-style board fits most projects and situations. The card-layout makes it very well-organized and all of my team-members quickly got the hang of it.

Cons:

To acces the most useful functions (power-ups) you need to upgrade. You don't have a lot of options for team-member roles or permissions. They can basically do everything within your board and that makes it messy sometimes. The design is a bit dated and not very aesthetic, it doesn't have that professional look some other task management software does have.

Good for simple work flows

3.0 5 months ago

Comments: In my experience, Trello is a quick and simple way to manage tasks and projects for a remote team. I've used it mostly for managing content creation and approval as well as small SEO tasks and found it effective.

Pros:

I do appreciate Trello's simplicity: it's easy to onboard new users and teach them the basics so you can hit the ground running. I've found it most helpful for managing the content creation and approval process.

Cons:

The customer service is slow—at one stage we waited a week for a ticket to be addressed and the response wasn't helpful.

I would give it ten stars if I could!

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: I love using Trello to organise ideas, and this is so easy to do. You can have a different board for each project or topic, then different lists within a board, then different cards within a list. You can colour-code the cards, and have either a title on them, then open them to add/view content, or you can create "smart cards" by adding a link, which will then show a preview of that link's target. You can add checklists to cards, and you can use a calendar system to schedule tasks or events. Honestly? It's the best free tool I've come across for organisation. I would give it ten stars if I could.

Pros:

Such a generous amount you can do with it on the free plan. I love the whole experience - the boards, the cards, how easy it is to move things around, plus the calendar function takes it to a whole new level. No matter what you need to organise, Trello is your new secret weapon!

Cons:

Honestly? Can't think of anything I don't like about it. I've been using it for years and it's just fantastic.

Trello makes brainstorming and project management easy

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Great! I used Trello for roughly five years to keep track of all my project deliverables, milestones and calendar entries, and to work collaboratively with the team and others on projects and idea boards. It's a great tool for both quick collaboration and long-term planning.

Pros:

The ability to quickly generate project workflows via the use of cards, and then automate them with powerful scripting in the background. It makes project management across teams pretty easy!

Cons:

The interface can be a little complex until you have fully gotten up to speed, but this just needs a little time investment up front.

An excellent alternative for PM

4.0 10 months ago

Comments: Overall, I find it a fantastic alternative for project management for small-medium teams and projects. It saves a lot of time and money because it allows the team manager to keep track of all the tasks and really helps with the member's collaboration. I highly recommend it!

Pros:

Visually it is very beautiful and feels organized and clean. It allows a lot of customization and movement of the cards so you can really play around with your options saving a lot of time. It is very versatile in this sense. At the same time, it is super easy to learn and when you bring a new member to the team, little explanation is needed to get them integrated.

Cons:

If the project has many moving parts or many members, it starts to feel cluttered and slow. The search tool could use improvement too.
