About Acumatica Cloud ERP
Acumatica Cloud ERP offers best-in-class functionality for small and mid-sized businesses to thrive in the digital economy.
The fact that this is all in the cloud makes it easy to use anywhere.
The integrator we selected was highly rated by Acumatica, but we felt was weak and we struggled in our implementation. Our implementation was late and over budget.

Acumatica – a powerful Cloud-based ERP System
Comments: If there is a feature that is not available, the Acumatica marketplace is there to help you find a certified partner to integrate a solution. And if you already have a solution, Acumatica's robust API makes integration very easy, it has very good integations with other software.
Pros:
I like that Acumatica is a cloud based platform, in all this time I have used it I can say that it offers incomparable flexibility. Being able to manage finances and pay bills from anywhere in the world is a huge advantage for me. What I like the most is how customizable and modular the plaform is. You can choose the modules you need and adapt them to fit your specific requirements
Cons:
The only drawback I find with this platform is that it doesn’t have a mobile version that facilitates its use, everything has to be done from the platform.
Acumatica a True ERP for the Construction Industry.
Comments: Acumatica has brought all the areas of our business together in one software which is allowing for an improved business decision making process.
Pros:
The integration of business functions are the most useful components of Acumatica, bringing our finance and project management functions together. The software is easy to implement when working with a Acumatica Partner on the implementation process. To date all features we require have been found in Acumatica other than Payroll which is going live in Q4 2023.
Cons:
In order to be able to provide the robust reporting and project tracking features it is important to enter information very accurately, the learning curve for new users can be steep.
Alternatives Considered: NetSuite
Reasons for Choosing Acumatica Cloud ERP: QBD was no longer meeting our needs, it served is purpose for financial management but not for business management.
Switched From: QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: Better integration of business functions
Most expensive cheap ERP
Comments: Pay a little more get way better results..we spent a fortune on customizations for basic features of other programs.
Pros:
After we spent almost same money as we paid for this program, we realize we could have purchased something better. Money we spent for customizations for things we assumed should be standard is crazy high and still not functioning..we have 50+ users and inventory is a mess, purchasing is a mess,..
Cons:
What you purchase out of box is not a functioning basic program..dont fall into price on the box..at the end you will spend same money as other expensive programs and result will be better and you will be less irritated.
Alternatives Considered: SAP Concur
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: not paying per user was the only reason..

An average ERP system - may be worth spending more for a premier brand
Comments: The system was oversold and our management team is now suggesting we shift to a more prominent brand.
Pros:
Having a native cloud based software is an advantage.
Cons:
CRM is terrible and requires significant user input to generate important data. Manufacturing module is sold as robust but lacks several key features. Software requires significant "customization" to be impactful, user must verify that "customization" still works after every upgrade which is time consuming. Service Support module seems new and has required significant time to implement.
Alternatives Considered: Dynamics 365, Salesforce Sales Cloud and SAP Concur
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: Initial cost was attractive but software was oversold with its capabilities. While upfront and monthly costs are important, companies should consider hidden costs from time consumption, slow rollout of "customization" and extremely high storage costs.
Excellent ERP solution that scales with a business
Comments: With Acumatica, we've been able to enjoy simpler procedures, a significant boost in productivity, and enhanced data management. Acumatica's amazing automation features allow us to streamline our business processes, imports, and workflows.
Pros:
When it comes to managing finances, operations, and customer connections, it is one of the best ERP programs available. Since it is hosted in the cloud, setting it up is a breeze.
Cons:
Although it has evolved and added features over time to become a comprehensive resource, it still falls short in several key areas, necessitating the exploration of complementary solutions that come at an additional cost.
Satisfied Customer
Pros:
Accounting team likes the ease of use, especially the real-time features. Also the customer service stellar.
Cons:
No known hiccups with the product. Accounting team utilizes it with ease.
Alternatives Considered: NetSuite
Reasons for Choosing Acumatica Cloud ERP: Needed a more advanced and real-time system.
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: CFO & accounting team preferred Acumatica's features & ease of use.
ERP that creates value for the company!
Comments: We needed real ERP processes coming from a Hybrid solution of point to point software system. This system allows us to follow process strings.
Pros:
Many processes are streamlined and delivered with documentation and unique added features not normally provided by ERP vendors.
Cons:
Some of the error messages are still being developed so they can be archaic at times. (not a lot).
Alternatives Considered: NetSuite and SAP Business One
Reasons for Choosing Acumatica Cloud ERP: Needed a better, more supported system.
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: Cost and supportability.
Review1
Pros:
There is Stability and ease of use - customization ability
Cons:
Slowness after time - GI screens take a long time to pull up all data when searching
Acumatica 4 Life
Pros:
I find acumatica very Flexible and Customizable: Acumatica adapts to my business needs, allowing easy customization without extensive coding.I can have access to real-time data and analytics empowers quick, informed decisions.I find that Acumatica has a very User-Friendly Interface: Intuitive UI simplifies navigation and onboarding for all team members.

Acumatica features set comes at the cost of a steeper learning curve. It can take time for users to become proficient in navigating and utilizing the software to its full potential, which might slow down operations during the initial stages.
Develop system to follow the customer needed still on going

It's already Cloud and easy to use it so we can work in anywhere
Cons:
Interface is easy, but if we feel fail the process please let us know the reason of this matters
Herman's Review
Comments: I love the software, so much possibilities that we still have to make use of and I am looking forward to improve our originations automation and efficiencies across all departments.
Pros:
The fact that this is all in the cloud makes it easy to use anywhere. You can use current processes and build on it and Acumatica also gives you background of what should be done easier, faster and automated.
Cons:
One thing I am looking would like to into personally as I saw this with other users in our origination as well as a frustration. The start date to enquiries always defaults to start on the current month you are using the enquiry for. As mention I saw the issue and have it myself and will still have to look into fixing this but I am sure there is a way to fix this and believe it is not fixed and could be changed.

Essentially unlimited number of open concurrent sessions, works equally well around the world
Cons:
Issues that require the Acumatica Dev team's assistance can be slow to resolve
Alternatives Considered: NetSuite and SAP Business One
Reasons for Choosing Acumatica Cloud ERP: Needed a scalable web based ERP tool to support growth in the business.
Switched From: QuickBooks Desktop Pro
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: Better fit, value, and ease of use.
A Modern ERP Software to Facilitate Running Business YOUR Way
Comments: As a developer, the learning curve was a little tough. As an end user, the free training material made it pretty easy to get up to speed on each functional area. Once we found a configuration that worked for us and got some experience and connections in the community, we have been able to create new screens and features that we could only dream of on our legacy system.
Pros:
What can't be configured can be customized to add new functionality or just adjust core functionality. This allows us to mold the ERP software around our business in contrast to so many other software solutions.
Cons:
I really want a slice of inventory by valuation type. We use a suffix on our locations to get to where we need to be, but I'd like to be able to specify a single location for new, repair, broken, and any other classification we may want to make for a part and identify that the specific inventory is new, repair, broken, etc. From that, I should be able to pull a simple dashboard of how much inventory I have on hand that is new, repair, broken, etc. without having to use separate warehouses or locations.

Good ERP for Small Business
Comments: Acumatica has helped our company improve our operations and handle significant growth. We moved from basic Quickbooks functionality to full inventory and manufacturing control. The improved transaction controls have reduced the amount of errors done in normal business processes. We've also been able to engage employees at all levels into our system.
Pros:
Ease of use, comprehensive list of features, Report writing and General Inquiry functionality,
Cons:
The worst part of Acumatica is how it handles Email. System email accounts, while not a horrible idea, just don't work well. The worst part of that is how the outgoing emails use the system accounts. Outside contacts end up saving these email addresses instead of the "real" user email. Then when they email us using those email addresses the emails go nowhere. All emails should be sent using the user's real email address, and preferably their email client such as Outlook. Third party VAR modules are harder to coordinate. Upgrades are too frequent and expensive if you do not have your own development staff. Customization requires development capabilities. Should be more user-level customization tools similar to Report Writer and GI screen.
Okay ERP system if you cannot use Oracle, Netsuite, SAP on Demand
Comments: I don't like the reliance on VARs to do all the implementation and support. Most VARs are small so they have at best 1-2 staff who really know the application. Seems better for Acumatica to have a central, core group of specialists at Acumatica who can handle technically challenging implemenations and support issues. My VAR struggles on an issue, ends up having to check w other VARs and resources which ends up costing me more time and money.
Pros:
we are in cannabis industry, so only options we have at mid tier are Acumatica and Microsoft.
Cons:
I'm thinking of moving over to Microsoft. They seem to put more resources into development, support and the ecosystem.

Why I'd recommend Acumatica
Comments: Cutting edge, modern technology, user friendly.
Pros:
What I like the most about Acumatica is availability of information online.Acumatica University also makes training in my own time easy.
Cons:
I wish perpetual pricing would remain an option. Some clients find it not sustainable to pay the same amount each year.
Acumatica review
Pros:
Automation and integration amongst various modules
Cons:
the payroll module when I tried to get on with it it seem to be complicated
Alternatives Considered: Dynamics 365
Reasons for Switching to Acumatica Cloud ERP: Future proof
Great cloud based ERP

Comments: Very easy to implement

Sales order, purchasing, accounting I think Acumatica is easy to use by all level of user
Cons:
If compare Acumatica with other softwares, functions are very limited.

Great ERP for midsize businesses
Comments: Very easy to use interface. Very easy to build new reports and web services.
Pros:
Acumatica ERP has very easy to understand user interface. It is ideal for small companies to implement ERP for sales and invoicing. Generic Inquiries and Import by scenarios are excellent features of this product. It is very easy to copy paste transactions. Love this product.
Cons:
It does not have advanced features in some areas. But, overall a great product for small to medium sized businesses.
Good Software Bad Support
Comments: Over all it saved money and the product can grow with us.
Pros:
The software is very flexible and is based on .net. You can see the source code and modify any parts that you want.
Cons:
You have to use a third party to implement it. Any support has to go through the vendor an hour. The consulting charges add up
Customizations are a bit of work. Needs a lot of technical people to support it.
Pros:
Cloud based, does the accounting side quite well. Easy for end users to use. Does have it's in wiki which is useful when searching for help on certain topics.
Cons:
As an admin, limiting pages for users and restricting access is a pain. Need to go through each tab and change the access rights. Should have a click all button to change rights. Email automation is really lacking. Need it to work with exchange or office 365. Any customizations you will need to be really trained in order to build it.
Implementation of Acumatica Cloud Financials. RFP process and selected Acumatica and 3rd integrator
Comments: Ease of use. Updated and supported software. Cloud solution. Greater functionality. Performance improvements. Navigation improvements. More intuitive screen flows.
Pros:
Features and functionality of product were very good. Ease of use of the product and intuitive nature of the screen flow was good. Having solution in the cloud was a plus. Now we can remain current on software without a large scale upgrade project
Cons:
As a non-profit it lacked in some functionality that we had to get from a 3rd party. That 3rd party solution was weak. Also, Acumatica does not implement their software. They rely on 3rd party integrators. The integrator we selected was highly rated by Acumatica, but we felt was weak and we struggled in our implementation. Our implementation was late and over budget.

Probably the best cloud ERP at the moment
Pros:
The customizable dashboard feature is the best thing about Acumatica. You can basically do anything and the basic dashboard is already powerful in itself. Also, the pricing proposal of Acumatica is game changing since it is not based per user which encourages the entire organization to use this system without the worry of cost.
Cons:
The only con I see about Acumatica setting up your account. I find it quite complex but don't get me wrong, once you understand every variable in setting up then you will appreciate the power of this ERP.
