Pros:

Integrates with other platforms that our office uses (like SKED and FORTIS), this is why I will always use platinum over any other EHR.

Cons:

We had a lot of trouble with platinum not taking any ownership of mistakes. Now it seems to be better.

It makes it so easy to manage records, track care, take notes and keep the flow in the office.

Pros:

I like the ease of use and navigation. It has also been really easy to have someone on the phone figuring out what is going on when things aren't going the way I feel they should and when it is user error the support does not make me feel stupid. It is also really easy to figure out how to do certain tasks with the software.

Cons:

I do not use the software to its fullest capacity, but there are some things that my wife has told me that she wish were easier when it came to scheduling out appointments for people and moving appointments around. She used to use a different software and liked the way that certain things were set up.

Platinum System keeps our office organized

Comments: I’ve been using Platinum System for nearly 15 years and I have no desire to ever switch. It is so easy to learn and use with many features. Any time we’ve had an issue or need to learn how to do something, Platinum’s customer support is able to help and they are all so kind.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use Platinum and how it keeps our office organized. I can have all of our patients’ information at my fingertips so that I am able to help our patients more efficiently.

Cons:

I feel that Platinum should offer more ways to go digital in office. Fillable forms would be a great addition.

We have used the Platinum system for years. I like certain features. But the system was not updated

Comments: Quit note taking. Alot of functions (the functions are old and out of date now. They have not updated in years.)

Pros:

This has the fastest notes for any system I have seen. This review would not let me put less than 100 characters. So this fill it up. (no other pros)

Cons:

There are way too many steps to obtain reports for anything. There is a lot it can do but much of it is not needed or is too cumbersome to actually use. Reports are not accurate. Same report multiple times has different values. If they would update the program it could be great.

Dr. Tripp, thanks for your review. We need to make sure you are receiving our emails on updates as over the past year we have encrypted the database for security, created an auto email for stats, created online forms for NP paperwork that can import into Platinum, a new Facebook support group and are working on many more features. A leap well taken

Comments: Our business is new to Platinum but we could not recommend it highly enough to chiropractic offices! Credit cards, insurances, code-scan check ins, and so much more. Platinum has your back in so many ways!

Pros:

Simplified and streamlined in the best possible ways. Keeping all our patient information in one place, easy to access, and with significantly less steps and overall fuss as other softwares used in chiropractic offices.

Cons:

The roughest thing about this software for people who are changing over from another is the look and style of the screens. It's a very outdated for such a stellar working soft ware and can sometimes feel overwhelming for the lack of things we've come so accustomed to like fonts, tabs, color blocking, etc.

Amazing customer service

Comments: For the first contact, our customer service with Platinum has been amazing. They are prompt and through.

Pros:

Customer service can not be beat! Easy to use software. We love Trish, who takes care of all our insurance billing.

Cons:

No inventory capabilities. We carry supplements, so this would be a nice feature.

Comments: We are a high volume growing office and it allows us to perform that with ease.

Pros:

I love all of the shortcut keys. Once you learn it, you can get to all sorts of pages and features by typing a few keys.

Cons:

There is a definite learning curve. I also don't like that there are certain things that you can't delete after they've been entered.

Pros:

Very easy to use. The customer service center responds quickly and walks you through step by step, making it very easy to operate. Billing is very easy.

Cons:

It is a bit more on the expensive end of pricing.

Functional but Glitchy

Comments: Overall, platinum allows our office to be highly efficient even with a small staff. We are able to coordinate people coming in and out of the office with ease, and can quickly manage tasks such as SOAP notes.

Pros:

The functional range of platinum is incredible. It’s truly an all inclusive system designed for busy offices who want to maximize their efficiency with their EHR.

Cons:

Glitches. Unfortunately, platinum very frequently glitches. These can either be small glitches or system killing glitches that require us to contact support for a solution. This is by far the most frustrating part of the software.

Comments: Overall it has been pleasant it’s a great system it just doesn’t look very good when practice members see it on their end. Active care when asked their subjective questions they always had the same answer twice because the color doesn’t change it would be nice to have more custom features and options

Pros:

Some of the functionality is difficult such as the doctors HR screen and the use as the doctor reading the screen. It is also not the best looking software it looks very outdated it doesn’t look like something from 2020 and practice members, on that as well. It would nice for her to have a facelift and look more updated like a Cairo touch system. It also can be difficult to figure out reports and would be nice to have a manual that gave you all the different options that the system offers or a book so that you could look up different reports etc.

Cons:

The visual look of the program and lack of customization on user end

I have used Platinum for over a Decade. Tried 5 other systems...wouldn't dare use anything else.

Pros:

Ease of use and outstanding customer service. Very stable and easy to back up to protect your practice information.

Cons:

Text messaging and mass emailing for patients could use some improvement. Needs to be more user friendly and present more aesthetically to the receiving parties (patients). Without using an outside source that costs us an additional.

Platinum customer service is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, every single representative is awesome.

Comments: This makes my job easier, as I work for a private practice with only 2 employees. Without Platinum we would need at least 3 more employees for all we do. The actual system is very easy to use, after training or time getting used to it. If I do ever have a problem customer service/ IT solves it every single time, they've even gone beyond their job and helped me with basic comp

Pros:

Easy to use, Tutorial available instantly, and Customer service reps always ACCURATE & friendly. Platinum has truly made all of my daily tasks easy and thorough. Anytime I have a question or problem I call the service line and one of the reps solves my problem or answers my question within seconds. The best part is how genuinely KIND and helpful they are.

Mostly satisfied

Comments: Favorable: I would do it all again, and I will likely stay with platinum systems forever. Mostly because my mentors and colleagues use the software, and can help me out via text or quick phone call as needed.

Pros:

overall Fits my needs 95%. 100% integrates with other platforms that our office uses (like SKED and FORTIS), this is why I will always use platinum over any other EHR. It is not over-complex, so that I can train my staff to use this program, even if they lack depth of computer skills nice customer service every time we call in.

Cons:

The price is too much in my opinion. Customer support is very helpful, but now you have to pay a lot for it, and it is not accessible simply by paying for the software usage itself. Also, the capability to run reports and queries is nice, and more standard reports and queries should be included in the software basic packages. The ability to create customized reports and queries is actually quite difficult at the moment.

The software does most things I want it to do but is very hard to learn!

Pros:

I like how efficient it is to use. being able to naviagte for the most part with no mouse makes it quick!

Cons:

I think the software is very difficult for a new team member to learn and is not the most user friendly. A few things that I think would make this better is possible some webinars that I could sign up for. A few features would make things much easier. for example: A saved list of stop mangers that can be populated (such as a list of stop mangers entered for every new patient). another feature that could be improved upon is the query and reports. I find it a very hard menu to navigate even after watching the training video more than once. Maybe a list of common reports offices use that can be added as quick selections.

great software for chiro office

Comments: for our first 17 yrs in practice our capacity was limited due to the time it took to write patient notes. also the shorthand we were using was many times not readable when a 3rd party asked for notes. as HIPPA compliance increased this system has helped because once a patients visit is completed the dr inputs their notes and hits the spacebar and their file is closed. no worry about another patient taking a peek at another patient file

Pros:

this system allows us to make a very good SOAP note in a very short time. this also allows patient files/xrays to be brought up instantly instead of having to search for them in a cabinet of paper notes or files of xrays

Cons:

nothing --it has been a very good system

Comments: I love the customer service and I find the system to be very user friendly. Easy to train on.

Pros:

I very much like the new facebook page. I would highly recommend adding videos once or twice a week showing how to videos for many of the other features. It's so difficult to call when we're busy but videos on how to build reports, how every section of the insurance portal should or could be used... etc... Just ask your facebook followers what they would like to see a video tutorial on.

Cons:

Changing appointment dates for an entire schedule should be easier. Sometimes we have problems with the calling system.

Very happy with the software and the customer support! There are some features that could be updated

Comments: As an EHR software, it makes us compatible with billing and scheduling needs as well as keeping encrypted records.

Pros:

We like that the software meets all of our in office needs and allows us to be organized and connected. The customer support and training is top notch. The included reference material is a great guide.

Cons:

There are some features that would be nice to streamline or make available without using an outside company. Text message and email reminders seem difficult to set up. Having a calendar available in real time would be excellent. We've used the software for 6 years now and I haven't noticed many feature updates and that would be welcomed.

great software -- the BEST support -- very stable

Comments: Excellent-- highly recommended

Pros:

It is stable, does the job efficiently. I have a very busy chiropractic practice and Platinum systems keeps us focused on service and not worrying about documentation, billing or stats or anything else. If there has been ANY issue, the support team has resolved it quicker than I would expect. I have the highest recommendations. I have been using if for nearly 15 years!

Cons:

It is not the prettiest. It is written on an older platform. Although it may not look as pretty, it is a workhorse.

Comments: Without a doubt Platinum saved me money.

Pros:

My favorite feature was the auto posting. Prior to platinum the staff would spend up to an hour each night paying and balancing Day sheets. With platinum, when we finished with the last patient the posting was already done.

Cons:

I am not tech savvy. As such I did not find the software to be intuitive. Once I learned some things I could get most any info I wanted but there was a learning curve for me. On the other hand the staff, all younger than me, did not have nearly as much difficulty learning new tasks.

Comments: Patients are scheduled with ease and accurate records are kept in EHR.

Pros:

Easy to use SOAP notes and customer service is always helpful. Makes scheduling a breeze for my staff.

Cons:

It seems that Platinum is a little expensive. It is a great program and user friendly. One problem we had is updates don't always work correctly then we have a hard time for a day or 2 getting the kinks worked out.

For our updates we try to test as much as possible before release but it is hard to predict the thousands of computer configurations for antivirus, domains, configurations, etc. this is why we do not do auto updates and have support staff available to handle any challenges.

Comments: Overall, utilizing platinum has been a great experience. Like any system there are glitches with software upgrades, etc but it has allowed us to start our own practice and grow it into a thriving high volume practice with very few hiccups. The hiccups we've had, the support team went above and beyond to help us resolve as quick as possible.

Pros:

The calling module, we are a high visit office and don't need a team member to help with flow thanks to the calling module!

Cons:

Reports aren't super user friendly, but once you know what to look for it's a bit easier. The support team is always good at helping us figure out how to run and save the reports for future use!

Comments: Save money with fewer missed appointments, easy SOAP note taking, multiple doctors stations, and overall saves time!

Pros:

The automatic text reminder feature alone saves a ton of money. However, it allows us to track statistics and enables us to keep up with a higher volume practice.

Cons:

There are so many bells and whistles it's almost too difficult to know how and when to use them. We don't utilize much insurance so some of the features available to us are unnecessary at times.

Most Amazing Healthcare Software!!

Comments: Platinum Systems does everything - from scheduling, tracking charges and billing, payments, invoices, and any kind of report you would need for both finances and patient information. You can send mass e-mails to all your patients, or with a couple of simple clicks, you can text everyone on your schedule a reminder of their next appointment. Platinum can be set up to remind the desk to take co-pays, and you can even program it to remember the individual co-pays for each person. The customer service cannot be beat - always friendly and happy to answer any question you may have.

Pros:

It can so so many things! I was an office manager and biller for several doctors who used this software.

Pros:

The technical support is amazing. they wont stop until the problem is resolved. Very good about following up to make sure everything is working well. When a Windows update acted like a virus to our system Platinum technical support worked with us for 4 months until all issues were resolved.

Cons:

1.There is nothing for inventory. 2.We have many patients who come with multiple children and only wish to run a credit card once. Would be nice to Transfer Balances with one transaction instead of two.

Comments: paperless office

Pros:

It allows you to run your office with less staff. It is very user friendly. The support team is very responsive to your inquiries and give very easy to follow instructions.

Cons:

Sometimes I have a problem with all the work stations sinking with one another and have to shut down all the computers and restart

Pros:

I like that the software is easy to use and compatible with our clearing house and other programs. I like that support is so great, they are able to help every time I call.

Cons:

I've never had formal training on the software, just kind of learned on my own. I feel like I am missing out on some of the features that I'm probably not aware of. There are features that I don't understand why it does what it does sometimes.
