About 3PL Warehouse Manager
Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager helps 3PLs evolve their business to better serve customers, operate more efficiently, and grow faster.
You see your suggestions in future updates. If they have a feature you need and they don't have they have great API's so you can extended the software to met your needs.
The Accounting portion of the program is confusing.

Robust WMS
Pros:
It has all the necessary tools to operate an efficient 3pl warehouse.
Cons:
There is always room for improvement in an environment that changes as fast as SCM
3PL Review
Comments: Overall, I'm content with using 3PL Warehouse Manager because it's what I've known to use for the past 2 years and it's grown upon me.
Pros:
When I first started Logistics, I was thrown into Warehouse Management and was introduced to 3PL. At first the product was intimidating since being new, I was afraid to mess up. However, as soon as I started getting more comfortable, I realized that the software is super easy to use and if you were to make mistakes, there are multiple solutions do fix them. Customer Support and the Help Center really take you a long way as there's information that is meant to help you for any cases.
Cons:
I had a fulfillment client that was questioning whether or not the Order status can match what their backend software shows to them such a Returns, Exchanges, Order Changes, ect. since they use WooCommerce and when I told them that those statuses are not available in 3PL, they seemed a little let down, but I feel like those statues would benefit both the Customer and our Company. Also, kind of wish that we are given the option to delete any orders instead of cancelling them and for them to still show up in the Orders Tab. I feel like this correlates to the Order Statuses mentioned before because since the cancelled orders are showing closed, they're now being mixed with completed orders that were closed as well.
Buggy, Missing Basic Features, Horrible GUI
Comments: Keep moving, Skip Magaya too, both horrible systems, with horrible customer service.
Pros:
Its great if you don't need much or have low expectations. We have spent several years with 3PL Central, and their system is easy to learn, and has most basic features you would need. We have heard remnants they have been working on a new system but that was 5 months after we joined up with them, still never seen it. Others online say it only has basic features like looking up orders, and receipts. While customer servers is dumb, forgetful, and slow to respond, they have implemented a ticket system. But don't advertise it, so you have to ask about it.
Cons:
Lacks support for UCC/SSCC labels, lacks support for cycle counting and inventory, isn't this an warehouse manager system? EDI support is sloppy at best, constant issues with it throwing errors saying it can't connect, or timed out, reports not automatically sending, edi's failing, asn's failing, Tech support loves to change settings without mentioning what it could break, they do it and wait to see if it fixes your issue, or you complaining about something. They broke our entire EDI process for one customer by changing what types of documents were supported via EDI. WHY WOULD THEY CHANGE THIS. we had to process 1,200 orders manually... FIFO isn't really FIFO in their system, it works, but not like it should. UPS/FedEx/USPS is external, it barely works within their system. If you need to process more than 10-15 cartons it often crashes and refuses to give you labels, forcing you to manually process them. I can't tell you how bad their customer service is, they ask for the same things over and over. The sales team, CSRs, tech support, don't put notes in your accounts, and keep asking you the same issues. They want to meet up yearly in person to ask how satisfied you are. We aren't your horrible, fix your bugs and we would be at best OK. Tab is your best friend in all menus if you type a SKU and hit search you will find nothing or the webpage will crash. Always hit tab for everything!, always press find twice before printing anything. You can't utilize more than 1 login at 1 time, it will crash both pages.
My Migration experience with 3PL
Comments: We previously used a software we became accustomed to and when we switched over to 3PL, there were so many differences in comparison to the functionalities. In the beginning, I immediately wanted 3PL to function just like our old system however over time, I was able to point out a number of values this system has and allows for so much more flexibility. Our daily orders used to finish printing by about 11:00am PST, and would start at 9:00am PST. (Printing fuction was automated) There were many pauses in printing, and delays. Now that we are using 3PL, with a 9:00am PST daily cutoff, we can have our orders printed by 9:30am PST with a much better sort in place for packers. This improves our productivity by 40% and offers a much better service level to our clients. I'm overall very satisfied with 3PL and I'd recommend it to other fulfillment houses without hesitation.
Pros:
I specfically like the flexibility it allows for sorting orders, and data allowing me to print specific orders in the batches that fit my needs. This feature is awesome because it saves our warehouse pickers time, and their productivity level has really improved.
Cons:
What I did not like about 3PL Warehouse Manager is that customer users access levels do not allow for them to view all items unless there is active inventory for every item. So if an item has no inventory, the client cannot see that item unless they run a stock status report. I think all items should be visible so that if there is an item with zero quantity available, the client can view that easily.
Has Helped Us Grow
Comments: We have been using 3PL Central for nearly 5 years now. Over that time we have been able to utilize the technology provided to greatly grow our business. The functionality has a wide scope of offerings and for the most part they work very well. We utilize 3PL Central as our Warehouse Management Software and rely on it heavily for small parcel receiving, inventory management, and order organization. We use a separate, stand-alone pack verification/manifesting/shipping software that we like much better than the modules offered by 3PL Central for those specific tasks. The visibility for our customers is critical and most find it works well despite the UI being slightly hard to navigate. Our biggest hurdle has been to take full advantage of the new feature releases because of the change in protocol/process that it would require. There is definitely an advantage to new releases and features, but they aren't always really easy to implement.
Pros:
- Web Based - Broad scope of features - Constant updates and feature releases - Up-time is near 100% - Good support (when you can get it) - Handles wide (possibly unlimited) product types
Cons:
- Support is very slow and often inexperienced requiring multiple responses to get a resolution - Most additional features are a le Cart so the price can increase depending on features - High traffic days make the system slow (although they have been addressing this) - UI can be hard to navigate at first and specifically for customers - Doesn't play well with mobile (we've been told this is in the works)
A good tool for growing companies
Pros:
We started using Skubana / Wxtensiv Warehouse Manager when we were outgrowing our previous order routing platform. This tool allowed us to set processing logic on all orders and route them appropriately. Additionally it helped simplify our worldwide inventory visibility and purchasing.
Cons:
Support can be slow to fix bugs. Our account manager is very responsive and there are not many bugs, but they can take a month to get resolved once one is identified.
Great warehouse management system with low learning curve.
Comments: I do a wide range of IT at our company and know the processes of most departments. People come to me when they have IT issues and that includes issues with 3PL. There aren't a lot of issues that are due to the system, more training related. When we have issues that are system related, 3PL Support is always responsive and helpful. We also have a lot of custom development and API integration and 3PL Central has excellent documentation for our developers..
Pros:
3PL Central is great because it's easy to use and train staff on.
Cons:
The item alias screen is a nightmare and all clients are combined together. I wish it was setup like other screens, where you first select the client rather than all clients, which makes it slow and unstable.
This is the perfect software for a warehouse
Pros:
It is easy to learn and easy to navigate and has most of the basic features that any store would need (Neither more nor less). good relation of groups to microgroups. It is very effective and useful to scan barcodes, I think the best is online access for our customers, the customization of packing lists makes the user experience is satisfactory and clear. and what makes this tool superior to the others is the ability to access everything remotely without intermediaries.
Cons:
The billing module is really confusing. for my cocept this application is made for small organizational structures. has low performance (Slowness) with high data increases, I'm not very satisfied with customer service, it's fine but it can be better. The cost for small businesses can be high, the return on investment is not short term. (Of course it depends on how much you move)
Good product but needs a bit more features for Billing and better UI.
Comments: Overall it has been decent. The support is not really helpful. They provide bunch of KB articles which I usually always go through before reaching out. For any real support, you need to book a time with a consultant for a price of around $200-$300 for 2 hours if I am not wrong, just to understand how to use a module.
Pros:
Order fulfillment is easy and straight forward.
Cons:
The UI and UX for returns and billing. Processing a return process is a nightmare. Would be much easier if there is an option on the Smart Scan app for processing returns. Everything is manual now and can take upto 5 minutes per return order.
The best on the market, hands down!
Pros:
Ever since we brought it onboard our efficiency has skyrocketed
Cons:
Custom reports were required for our particular needs
Avoid! They will trick you into an extended contract & then threaten you
Comments: Terrible support, Lack of integration bad UI..
Pros:
I wish i had the sales people these guys have..
Cons:
Its very very basic, The interface seems to have been designed in 1993. It lacks straightforward integration with any standard shopping cart Shopify, Bigcommerce but worst of all when its time to move on & you try to cancel the software you will find that in the small print they have trapped you into another 12 months Clearly entrapment is the only way they can retai customers..
Has been the best software for inventory..
Pros:
very helpful in keeping track of the inventory that we had in the warehouse and helping us in knowing what we needed to order more of. Easy to make labels for the items we are needing to keep track of or needing to ship.
Great product for start ups but after one year will need new
Comments: This software grew us the first year then held us back year after year.
Pros:
The software is very easy to use and very affordable.
Cons:
Anything other than basic things is not their cup of tea.
Reasonably Priced & Makes Your Business Run Smooth
Comments: More customization would be great.
Pros:
Has all the basic features you want in WMS - The software itself very easy to use / user-friendly for someone who hasn't had previous experience with inventory management. Setup was easy and quick & 24-hour access to the cloud is a fantastic feature.
Cons:
Not many - occasionally system runs slow but I've been told this has since been fixed. Also, at times it can be difficult to get customer support on the phone but once you do they are very helpful!
Best Warehouse & Inventory Mgmt Software
Pros:
We are a distributor of nutritional supplements and handle shipping in-house. 3PL Warehouse Manager helps us keep track of inventory... Whether it's incoming or outgoing packages.
Cons:
I would like there to be more customization for fields as well as a built-in customer database. Overall great system!
DIFFICULT PROGRAM
Pros:
THIS WAREHOUSE PROGRAM IS OF GREAT USAGE ONLY IF THE MANAGERS ARE USING IT BUT OF NO USE TO THE EMPLOYEES.
Cons:
THIS WAREHOUSE PROGRAM IS OF USE FOR ONLY THE MANAGEMENT TYPE BUT NOT EMPOLYEES THAT MAY NEED BETTER ACCESS TO THE PROGRAMMING.
On of the Best for WMS
Comments: Flexible, easy to manage easy learning
Pros:
3PL Warehouse Manager have interesting Feature are most like Mobile barcode scanning capabilities enable you to ensure swift and accurate input all of the data
Cons:
The say about this feature Turbocharge Your Processes: Small Parcel shipping functionality gives you the power to accurately scan, pack and verify shipments faster than ever before. I can't agree with them, Need Developer Improvement. Overall Good
Pretty awsome
Comments: Pretty good inventory management software, easy to use and learn! It took our team about a week to learn how to use this software. Many options and very easy to customize to your needs! I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a great system to manage you inventory!
Easy to use, cost effective product
Comments: This system really does it all. Very satisfied!!
Pros:
The system is easy to setup and deploy quickly. Trainers were thorough and helpful along the way. Customers have 24 hour access to this cloud based system. Price is low compared to what you get. Integration with shopping carts and marketplaces is robust and saves a lot of entry time.
Cons:
system runs slow at times but I have been told this is being worked on. They do not connect to every marketplace seamlessly. Shipping integration is a little clunky. We added on third party shipping system.
Easy to use
Pros:
This product is user friendly and easy to use. This is the perfect software for a warehouse. We were having trouble with our ERP system and decided to make the switch and it was well worth it.
Cons:
Billing portion is really confusing wish it was a little more easier and give options to bill other things
Better in managing groups
Pros:
As a group containing micro groups, this software makes it easy to break the barrier between groups since you can easily monitor the movement of products among groups.
Cons:
So far no negative feedback or problems being encountered and hoping it lasts because we can't entertain delays any day now.
Quality Software & Top Notch Service
Pros:
They have a true cloud based WMS solution that we can access anywhere. The user interface is easy to navigate and understand. Support inquiries are handled quickly and professionally. System feels like 100% up-time. Regular updates and feature enhancements. All reports are customizable to fit our needs.
Cons:
The look of the software could be refreshed, but they are already working on it from what I understand. That being said, their current look is much newer than other WMS solutions we experienced/reviewed/demoed.
Niche Product
Comments: This is specifically for a company doing third party logistics. The requirements to compete in that market are high and varied. So to find an inexpensive workable solution is tough. 3PL fits the bill.
Pros:
Lots of functionality. Lots of add-ons if you need them. Most of them are for free.
Cons:
UI is pretty old school. It's not super pretty or slick. Some of the functionality is a little clunky and you have to take extra steps to do something that we wish was just a click of a button.
Helps us stay organized.
Pros:
Use this to track voucher shop for treatment facility. Does what we need without the frills. Easy to train people on.
Cons:
I have not noticed any flaws in the program or bugs thus far. Functions flawlessly and is extremely reliable.
ITracker
Comments: I am very happy with the product. It's a good deal.
Pros:
Ease of use, canned reports, flexibility, price
Cons:
Slow response
