The Antivirus That Actually Works!
Comments: I have been using Norton AntiVirus for a long time now. So, I think I am now in a position to comment about the overall user experience. An unpopular opinion, most of the antivirus in the market are gimmicks. Some are actually useful and Norton is the best of them. The overall user experience is superb. Although nowadays Windows comes with a built-in powerful security system, I can't really depend on that for my office computers. This is when Norton came as a lifesaver. It helps me monitor all my office computers and keep them secure. Also, the developer team is very helpful in terms of after-sales support. This is not only a standalone or offline antivirus system, rather it is a complete package consisting of a firewall, VPN, parental controls, and many more.
Pros:
When it comes to antivirus, you can't say for sure that this will give me a hundred percent protection. But in terms of Norton AntiVirus, I can confidently say that it will surely protect you against all the common threats and privacy issues. Norton is an old player in the market with a lot of experience in this industry. Also, they are quite careful about the users' data security and privacy. The installation and administration are hassle-free too. I can easily monitor all my office computers for any threats. The dashboard is designed beautifully keeping the new users in mind. I haven't seen any other antivirus program loaded with this many features. I love the VPN feature most because it lets me browse the internet without revealing my IP address which is necessary for privacy. At first, I used the trial version and after a week I immediately subscribed for the paid plan. I must say it's worth it and I will recommend this to anyone.
Cons:
I hate nothing about Norton AntiVirus. But there are a few things that should be improved. For example, the real-time scanning feature should be optimized a bit more. Also, there should be some option for the power users to automate and schedule regular tasks. If the developers can improve this two sides, Norton will be unbeatable.
Quality Product
Comments: Overall I was highly pleased with Norton AntiVirus Products I have used over the years. They have been easy to install and upgrade or update yearly. They always worked seamlessly and updated constantly to catch any possible virus. I have never had an issue and it did catch a couple of viruses and stopped them from infecting my computer.
Pros:
It did not slow my computer down when it was running. It ran in the background, so I never could tell when it was running, ie: it didn't interrupt me or interfere with anything I was doing. I never had a virus come thru when I was using it. It updated automatically without my help or me knowing. It worked seamlessly.
Cons:
If I had a concern, it was for most of the above reasons above. It worked so quietly I didn't know it was working. Occasionally I would get nervous that it stopped working, and I would open it up just to check and make sure.
Norton's malware protection is very good, and its system impact is much smaller than in the past.
Comments: Norton Security offers excellent protection from malware, with at most a moderate impact on system performance. If you're looking purely to shield your system from attack, you couldn't do better.
Pros:
Offers some of the best malware protection around. Password manager, backup software. Not t too much impact on system performance during scans. Each package overlap features, with tune ups to get more protection, ajusted to your needs (from basic to premium). Norton can be set to go into 'silent mode', which reduces signature updates and user notifications whenever another program uses the full screen, graphics, as a game or movie would; it does something similar when you power up a PC after a long period of inactivity, postponing all but the most vital updates and letting you catch up on email and social obligations without slowdowns or interruptions. Regardless of which Norton antivirus product you get, you'll have protection against spyware, phishing emails and ransomware. Norton recently added the ability to stop nefarious changes to the system's Registry file, as well as an enhanced exploit blocker to stop potentially unwanted apps from being installed. The firewall available is easy to adjust and set rules for. You can use Norton Family to block web usage based on time, review what kids have been watching online, filter out offensive material and lock all covered devices for a media-free dinnertime or family meeting. Quick-glance items show whether everything is up-to-date, when the last scan occurred and a link for a quick scan.
Cons:
Few extra features in comparisson with older versions. Still a little slow performance during scans system scans. Lacks the extras we've come to appreciate in other antivirus suites, such as file encryption, file shredding or a secure web browser. It doesn't have a free antivirus product, Norton has four levels of paid malware protection. Parental controls feature is reserved for its pricest tier. None of the Norton products offer the wide range of extra features and tools that have become common in antivirus software.
Norton Antivirus.. Your first line of defense against viruses and malewares.
Comments: Norton Antivirus is one of the mostly used and widely known antivirus software. Knowing that our files and computers are protected from malware, ransomware or cyber attacks that could be costly or disruptive to our businesses and/or personal lives gives me a great sense of security and relief.
Pros:
Norton Security is a sophisticated antivirus programme for your computer. The tool offers excellent protection against malware, ransomware, identity theft, and web and email attacks. Advanced Firewall and VPN capabilities are useful for keeping your device secure. The Norton updates and threat protection are the best features. The Norton team releases daily updates to improve their software's ability to combat newly discovered threats. Cloud storage and parental control are among the other functions. These advanced features are only available as part of a high-priced package, so we have to choose according to our needs. The pricing plans are reasonable, and the protection is excellent. One of the most reliable brands and names in computer security.
Cons:
To work properly and on full potential Nortin Antivirus, like its other counterpart softwares, consumes a lot of hardware resources like CPU and RAM making your computer work a bit slow..
Trustworthy cyber-security software that ticks all the boxes.
Comments: Overall, I'm very happy with Norton. I've never had any problems with it, apart from the crypto mining resource hog.
Pros:
The interface is easy to navigate and belies the power behind the software. There are 6 main areas of protection: device security, dark web monitoring, a VPN, cloud backup, parental controls and a password manager. Most of the security functions you need in, one app.
Cons:
Norton Crypto. It's a waste of my resources to be honest.
Alternatives Considered:
Norton AntiVirus, good threat prevention app
Comments: Norton was a very good, the top antivirus, however in recent 5-7 years we found others outperforming it catching threats.
Pros:
Norton Antivirus still has good threat prevention capabilities, when it recognized threats it notified us immediately, it has good reporting tool to analyze past threats and help deciding where to change or install additional threat prevention programs to help avoiding future threats.
Cons:
Norton used to be the best antivirus for decades after it came out, however our research even after talking to other businesses we all agreed that today there are just better apps that outperform it. Norton seem to lack in keeping up with the very latest threats or implementing them in their latest versions. We eventually dropped Norton after others outperformed it for two years continuously. Before purchasing Norton I recommend to do research on the internet.
Alternatives Considered:
Norton Antivirus
Comments: It was positive - it’s a recognized product and easy to integrate with MS platform
Pros:
It was very compatible with MS platform in place
Cons:
Updates were somewhat difficult to configure initially.
Alternatives Considered:
Fine for what it is, but partially made redundant by more modern and less bloated options
Comments: My overall experience with Norton Anti-virus is that, whilst it was fine for detecting most viruses, it has not made up for it with the huge amount of resource it requires and the lack of features compared to other options out there. I was happy with the support however but did not use for longer than a year.
Pros:
I liked the ease of use for the Norton Anti-virus software, as well as the after-sales support when it comes to help with installing in multiple environments or a network of many machines, ensuring they are all secure whilst remaining a consistent connection.
Cons:
I do not like that Norton requires a lot more resource compared to other anti-virus softwares out there, it is also a bit dated, and there are other options which are cheaper and offer more features compared to Norton Anti-virus.
Thanks to Norton
Comments: It is very satisfying and good price in comparing with the price
Pros:
It prevent me fron viruses and being hacked or spied
Cons:
Its notifications and needs permissions

Why norton
Comments: 6 months I have used and help many regarding troubleshooting in Norton
Pros:
Cost and easy to get in the market as per price value for money
Cons:
its need to make better in the security and believe should get from the security team
Norton Symantec is great - but it comes at a cost!
Comments: Great. Loved dealing with the Symantec team in South Africa. Really helpful and knowledgeable about the product.
Pros:
Instantly you feel more secure when you see the Norton Symantec logo. Love the EV (Extended Validation) feature (apart from the cost). Love the fact that it's authenticated against Companies House, and Dun and Bradstreet = before they issue your EV cert. Call me vain, but i love the fact that EV allows you to display your company name in the URL bar.
Cons:
It's a bit complicated to set up, but given the nature of the product - that's to be expected. I think it is slightly over-priced when compared to free of charge Open Certs. The fact that you have to pay (the same again) for every sub-domain is a bit hefty (but i understand why).
A Complete Antivirus Suite
Comments: Norton keeps my devices safe, allowing me to maintain productivity without having to worry about security issues. Auto-update keeps things protected even in a rapidly-changing world of computer threats.
Pros:
Norton Security is extremely easy to use and has been my primary antivirus software on all of my personal computers and devices for over a decade. The program is effective in that it catches and secures threats quickly to avoid harm to my system. The scans are always thorough, and I appreciate that the software is easy to use, even for those who may sometimes struggle with advanced computer features. But the advanced features are present for any users who can take advantage of the program's capabilities.
Cons:
My main issue is the length of time that the scan can take to complete. I understand that scanning hundreds of thousands of files can take time, but the program can be a bit heavy on system resources while it is carrying out the scan. Still, this is an issue with all antivirus software, so it is hardly a complaint.
My Friend, Norton, has my back.
Comments:
!. no adware, spyware or popups
2. automatically scans for problems, leaving me ree to focus on my work
3. identity theft protecion
Pros:
When I first used Norton and the free trial ran out I was tempted and succumbed to using the free antivirus programs available. After using them for a while, I realized that there is no substitute for experience. I appreciate the know-how that Symantec has with almost forty years of providing antivirus programs. Most important to me is that it is like having an expert assistant to scan and review my computer for threats to my system. I am a writer and do a lot of research for my characters and their environment, so I am all over the web getting resource material for my writing. This makes me quite vulnerable to identity theft and various intrusions into my cyber-privacy. Norton is always there to back me up and prevent loss to my material and my finances. I like that. Since I have been using Norton I don’t have to worry about pop-ups or nasty windows that threaten to freeze my computer if I don’t call them for technical support. Parental controls are included, although I do not have any children using my computer; my friends do and they find this feature helpful. The PC cloud back up is important to me as a writer since I do not ever want to lose my work and have to try to recreate it. I feel very comfortable using Norton Anti-virus because it allows me to have confidence that my online privacy is secure and I don’t have to be constantly wary of cyber intrusions.
Cons:
It is difficult to fid fault with this software. I am a user, not a software expert. I amvery happy to use it an itt wuits my cyber lifestyle very well.

Best Complete Anti-Virus Suite
Comments: I'm so happy and fully satisfied with Norton. I've tried AVG and Avast before but Norton gives the best performance.
Pros:
I've been using Norton for my PC and Mac for several years now and it has protected both very well. It's very easy to use and customize (i.e. adding some programs to Exception List or Firewall). It detects which programs are a threat and quarantines them immediately. You'll get a notification once that happens and you can make adjustments if needed (if it was detected incorrectly). Their licensing is also cross platform which is a big factor for me. The license can be used on both computers and mobile.
Cons:
Nothing to dislike from this software. I've been using it for years and I will never look for anything else. Price and quality of service is perfect for my needs.
Alternatives Considered:
Great Product and a Must Have Today
Comments: I work for a client that has me review websites that I must open and view to see if they are the type of website that our company is looking to be partnered with. I also use Malware Bytes which picks up most issues, but there are times that Malware Bytes does not pick up an issue and Norton does. I feel very well protected.
Pros:
It really works the way it said it does. It catches websites all the time that are shady or have flat out Trojans and other viruses on them. It also "sanitizes" documents that I download.
Cons:
I had a bit of trouble with customer service. Not sure if I did something incorrectly or if it was an issue with Norton.
Alternatives Considered:
I have confidence it will do it job
Pros:
I like that is it pretty hassle free once I install it. I feel fairly confident with that my computer is safe.
Cons:
I don't like the auto renewal at twice the price I paid the 1st year, especially since that 1st year price is abundantly available to new users. I call every year when it renews and they have always refunded the difference, but I feel loyal customers should get it renewed at the same price it is available to new users.
A Shield You Can Trust
Comments: We went with Norton because of their reputation in the Cybersecurity space. We are glad to have made the decision since there have been no major disappointments so far. We use it to stay ahead of threats and the experience has been worthwhile.
Pros:
The dashboard is intuitive, and it provides clear status updates on your system's security. This makes it easy to schedule scans, set up automatic updates, and customize security settings to suit your needsAlso, as an IT lead,, I appreciate that Norton's minimal resource consumption ensures our systems run smoothly without significant slowdowns, even during scans.
Cons:
There have been instances where the software flagged legitimate software or websites as potential threats, causing some disruption and confusion
Alternatives Considered:
Norton AntiVirus - Still well known for a reason!
Comments: Overall, owning a subscription to Norton Antivirus has meant I have never had to worry about any online threats which could significantly impact my small business. Its' run in the background with little or no attention needed. Once its' been installed, you as the user can rest assured that your personal and financial information remain safe and secure at all times.
Pros:
Norton AntiVirus has provided one of the most impressive security suites on the market for many years. Their current version maintains their status as industry leaders. My systems have been threat free and kept safe which is why I have continued my subscription service over around 3 years.
Cons:
I run an artist website offering personal commissions and am essentially a starving artist. I have a small team and times are particularly tough. This is a subscription based antivirus package and the annual running costs while not the highest, are not free.
Alternatives Considered:
Bet your money on this.
Comments: As stated above, Norton sweeps clean and gets the job done. My information, passwords, and data are protected online and offline.
Pros:
I swear by this software, and have been using this for over 10 years. Software automatically sweeps computer and network for Viruses and other malware. The sweeps and scans are thorough and can be used for any date or time.
Cons:
Price, however, you get what you pay for. I have used cheaper services and still found viruses on my computer. Norton sweeps clean and gets the job done.
It has the functions...and some of the headaches...
Comments: Their products do what they say they will do, but their products are best geared for big business, in my opinion. My best advice, especially to small businesses considering their network products, is that the network and computer hardware you have may be burdened with "extra" processor-hogging tasks and processes. If you ever need to uninstall their products in the future, you will save yourself some time by formatting your systems and reinstalling your OS. It really is the only way to ensure you're not giving up speed and functionality to a product you no longer use.
Pros:
Online security is at the forefront of business concerns these days, and I start by saying that as a Business Manager, I have been exposed to alot of Norton products over the years. They do maintain the leader board on products for thwarting hijacks, viruses, network protection and the other major concerns most prevalent. Having used a number of products over the years, as I am sure you also have, the concerns I have with their products really are not so much about the products themselves as much as their burden on the systems that actually use their products. I believe because they are so closely attached to many major corporations that developing products for small business is not worth their time. With that said, you can see my "cons" statement.
Cons:
Due to the nature of the major retail franchise I was with that was partnered with Norton, I won't disclose how often I had Norton issues, and quite honestly I believe the burden of some of their product development is the over-burden their major security products puts on the actual computer systems of a business network. It is true, their security evaluates in real-time, and you will, therefore, experience some "lag"; however, the more products you have on ANY system will have this issue. That said, working with the franchise technical support over issues related to the heavy computer-processor burden of the Norton products, and the fact that they had to have special software to totally remove Norton products, in the event it ever needed to be uninstalled, makes it a bit worrisome on many fronts. In a day and age of hacks and leaks and fraudulent activity within major organizations, I honestly am not comfortable turning over the confidential security brains of my organization to a third-party in totality. Once you install Norton on a basic home computer or business system, you will not be able to totally uninstall their product. You can go through their uninstall process, you can call their Technical Support and let them walk you, you can then try to justify if your mind that it has been done, but chances are pretty good that there are at the very least, a bunch of little scatter-brained pieces lying around in your system hogging your processor speed and storage.
Good and cheap
Comments: The apprehension about somebody getting tightly to your clients touchy data is really unnerving. Realizing that you have this program to back you up makes you breathe a sigh of relief. It is an extremely valuable device for our business.
Pros:
I really like the usability. The Workspace app is exceptionally easy to use even for people who are not computer savvy. There are a few options for the depth of results you need to perform and the app is constantly doing things behind the scenes. I also like the ability to update and clean records. Both options quickly clean up your old PC, documents, and projects that are no longer used or valuable. Every year when I top up, for the most part I don't need to set a new schedule: I just give the new item key code and I'm good to go for an additional 365 days.
Cons:
Norton has not many rebounds which incorporates that during the infection checks it dials back the frameworks and makes different exercises very sluggish or not having the option to work. Likewise when it alarms and delete the malware without anyone else, the framework actually shows blunder or the infection leaves its effects adulterating specific records and organizers. So in such case, we generally need to do it physically to guarantee most extreme security.
Norton Anti Virus: A Comprehensive Review.
Comments: My Overall Experience With Norton Anti Virus: Pros And Cons. Norton Anti Virus is a software that helps protect your computer from viruses and other online threats. I have been using Norton Anti Virus for a little over two years now, and I have to say that I have had a mostly positive experience with it. There are a few pros to using Norton Anti Virus. First, it is extremely easy to set up and use. The interface is simple and user-friendly, and you can easily customize your settings to suit your needs. Norton Anti Virus also does a good job of protecting your computer from viruses and other online threats. I have never had
Pros:
I liked the Norton Anti Virus because it was very easy to use and had a very user-friendly interface. I also liked the fact that it was very customizable, and I could choose which features I wanted to use and which ones I didn't. Overall, I thought it was a great antivirus program.
Cons:
There are many types of software, but some of the most common are: -Operating systems: systems that control the basic functions of a computer -Application software: programs that allow users to perform specific tasks, such as creating documents or spreadsheets -System software: programs that manage the computer's resources, such as its memory and processor -Network software: programs that allow computers to communicate with each other

Comments:
With norton, we have been able to mix and match programs from the same family by combining the programs to save money instead of buying several different programs, which means that AntiVirus Corporate Edition is compatible with other Internet security programs from other editions. from the same family. The benefits obtained by using Norton are:
high protection against online fraud and pirates who are always watching our activities.
A high level of maintenance of this product
Constant offer of new versions for clients (renewal and update).
It is always updating. This is very good for protecting computers and therefore customers against persistent threats from hackers.
Pros:
Protects our computer, tablet and smartphone against viruses, malware and many other malicious virus attacks automatically. There is also a component of the Norton antivirus that protects our privacy and our online confidence. I consider this to be a very good feature. Norton antivirus is very easy to use. You don't need to be a computer expert to use this product for your protection. Regarding the integration, I can say yes, it was very easy. All you have to do is download the antivirus, install it and everything works perfectly.
Cons:
One of the weak points of Norton antivirus is that sometimes it takes a long time to open the program. uYou can be in a hurry, and it takes you a few minutes to start. That doesn't always happen, but it happens many times. Many users who are using the software report this slowness. For me, there is no difficult aspect to manage. Integrating software like Norton is not difficult, at least for me. It's going to depend on the type of Norton you use.
Alternatives Considered:
Protection at home
Comments: My experience in general with Norton is more than excellent. I feel the security of the protection when I surf the web, even though I have a teenager at home.
Pros:
I have been using this software for more than 3 years, i have it in my personal computers at home and all my family have it in their phones. Not only provide security it also is a good way to protect your passwords.
Cons:
What I least like about the product it is that sometimes the webpage manager is not that user friendly as you expect it should be.
Threat neutral anywhere access utility for every e-citizens
Comments: It is okay. I would like a feature to lock internet with keystrokes. If I feel there is a unusual response anytime there must be a single click for restoring everything within seconds.
Pros:
I would like to add sensitive access in open public internet cafe where authentication can access any personal files or secure data online with sufficient security through google lens or otherwise portable mobile device. Once authenticated with my gps information and fingerprint scan on my mobile, the norton secure url can verify the QR code so that I dont have to install any security software anywhere and there is a good scenario where universal portability can review security and take action if my laptop is stolen or when I travelling from home. Usually I use some portable software for this purpose. I would like to inform that there is a vulnerability not scanned if I bootup my system with any malware installed pendrive. Usually the option I love to add may be an antivirus software that doesnt need to update virus signature everyday or anytime since all the applications are scanned after it is installed. No recurrent changes if spotted only request the same otherwise. Overall the intrusion and patches can be helpful.
Cons:
Windows updates can be paused if there is any defect happening when users found there is some issues. Usually it takes more ram and the sensitive applications shall be excluded for further analysis that make it virus free. Some additional patches can solve it. It is a newer way of adding security that we can eclipse its vulnerabilities with patches.
