Survey Monkey - Surveys in the blink of an eye!

Comments: Just a fantastic time for lower-level surveys, especially internal employee opinions on new software, or protocols. Very fast!

Pros:

Very linear, and straight forward tool. It's very simple, it works fast, and it's one of the most affordable ways to gather data internal or external

Cons:

Does not carry advanced tools, or deep data. You will get primarily general survey data and need an external tool to get granular or analyze results.

Consistently Reliable

Comments: I have used SurveyMonkey for both personal and professional reasons over the past decade. Throughout that time my experience has been consistent. It is a great, reliable product that has gone through enough upgrades to stay relevant, but not so many that you no longer recognize the original product.

Pros:

How easy it is to customize your own survey, but also that there are a lot of pre-designed aspects so you don't have to do more work than necessary.

Cons:

You can't change the colors/design very much, from what I remember.

It's steady product but pretty much that's it

Comments: it's been ok. I feel like there are other options on the market that can be better.

Pros:

It is free, easy to use and is a trust brand that a lot of people know.

Cons:

It has limited free features and tends to have a lot of ads and makes it harder to use

Comments: Overall, it’s been a smooth and efficient tool for collecting feedback, with just a few minor limitations.

It's user-friendly and makes creating and distributing surveys pretty straightforward.

Some advanced features seem locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be limiting.

Great survey platform for the majority of applications

Comments: Excellent for continuous improvement, employee feedback, and customer feedback. Enhanced metrics and data may be more difficult to set up but are still possible.

Pros:

SurveyMonkey makes it easy to create and send surveys to your target audience. Data is compiled and presented in an easy to understand format and makes for effective application.

Cons:

Customization of survey questions can be problematic. If you want more detail in your responses, it can be difficult to figure out how to set up the survey.

SurveyMonkey is a hit with consumers!

Comments: We use this product to rate processes that our customers go through for participation in our programs. Overall, SurveyMonkey yielded results that informed our group of changes that needed to be made and processes that were liked by the customers.

Pros:

The tool was very easy to use and has friendly set-up and feedback. It is also more "fun" and engages the customers. One commented that she had a "blast".

Cons:

Some categories were a bit generic, but we still were able to make them work for our product review.

Easy to use Survey tool

Comments: I use it mostly for technical feedback on my team.

Pros:

It's easy to start up a simple yes or no survey.

Cons:

It doesn't allow great flexibility for surveys where many choices are needed.

Good application of surveys and forms with Microsoft tools

Comments: It is convenient to do the surveys and forms.

Pros:

We integrated SurveyMonkey with Microsoft tools (like the Power BI and Teams) to get feedback and automate workflows.

Cons:

The integration of SurveyMonkey with Microsoft tools, the imitations exist in the data sharing. We also meet the issues on the access permission to some function of Microsoft tools.

Comments: SurveyMonkey is an incredibly, packed with features that really empower you to create engaging, insightful surveys with ease. From simple questionnaires to complex research, it has the functionality to meet a wide variety of needs.

Pros:

The interface is intuitive and welcoming, and with its array of templates, even new users can get started quickly and effectively. The built-in analytics add real value by providing clear, actionable insights that make data-driven decisions easier.

Cons:

That said, the pricing structure can be a bit of a hurdle, especially for teams wanting to collaborate. While it’s great as a single-user tool, the cost does add up when you want to bring in more team members, which can make collaborative work challenging. For teams that thrive on shared access and feedback, this setup feels a bit limiting. If there were more flexible options that made team collaboration easier, it would be an even better fit for fostering connected and dynamic research projects.

Survey Monkey still the best

Pros:

Great question bank, grades your survey for best results, able to send matrix questions.

Cons:

It is more expensive than other options but worth it .

Can't think of a better software for our forms and surveys

Comments: SurveyMonkey has been very very handy for our form and survey needs. We mainly use it to manage the registrations and attendee feedback for our events. We used to use Google Forms but it was nowhere near as advanced as SM. It's easy to set up, has lots of advanced form fields like hidden fields and conditional fields, and has better reporting features. Great tool to have overall

Pros:

Th etemplate library has dozens of ready-made event-related forms and surveys. It's saved us time from having to design them ourselves, and it's given us new ideas for different fields and question types. The interface also looks smooth and is easy to use for our respondents.

Cons:

The lower-tier limits are a bit too low in my opinion. We had to upgrade before we could become 100% confident about using it.

Comments: I’ve used it for quick school/family polls and it’s been quick and efficient to use.

SurveyMonkey is a Powerful Survey Tool with a Few Drawbacks

Overall, the features are good and the price is worth it for the capabilities.

Pros:

The best parts of SurveyMonkey are its ease of you, customizable templates, ability to use logic or advanced question types, data analytics, and integration to other platforms.

Cons:

Although SurveyMonkey offers survey logic for questions, creating complex skip patterns or advanced logic can be difficult to set up. SurveyMonkey does not have built-in A/B testing, which would allow users to test different versions of a survey or compare different questions to see which performs better.

Pros:

Honestly, I like everything about survey, monkey other than the prices are a little low. You have to spend so much time on that survey. It's not really worth it. A lot of the time

Cons:

The prices on each survey because you can spend 20 minutes on survey and only get 5 cents to me. That's not worth it.

The easiest way to get a survey to those that use your company.

Cons:

Nothing negative comes to mind when using this app

Survey Monkey from the view of a Data Analyst

Comments: I love Survey Monkey I've been using it for over 7 months and I don't think I'll stop. It helps me analysis large amounts of data for my surveys and manage the countless amounts of feedback I receive. I'm able to create surveys and get data from them easily. I really enjoy it.

Pros:

I love how easy it was to build surveys. As a Data Analyst every day I have to make many surveys and if can be a quite tedious task but Survey Monkey speads up the process and makes it more enjoyable. This is because I can add customizable questions.

Cons:

What I didn't like was the pricing. Other alternatives that I know of are free e.g. Google Forms it felt a bit annoying to have to pay for features etc but it's worth the money. But having Google Forms as a free alternative is definitely tempting to switch to.

A versatile tool for collecting, disseminating, and/or digesting any desired data

Comments: Overall, survey monkey, has a TON of very valuable uses and is generally user friednly for all levels of experience both on the user side as well as with those developing and deploying their products. The features that allow for real-time data collection with the ability to report that data live, have been crucial in my workplace. I hope these in-the-moment capabilities will continue to increase the ability of all workers, to hold those in power accountable, as well as allow for the demand of responsiveness at the time those responses are needed. :)

Pros:

I appreciate the range of access to their products, that comes at no cost! aka the features that are Free :) I don't use their products enough to warrant a paid subscription, so being able to create a survey occasionally has been great for a committee I'm on, within my organization. Also being able to use polls to gauge real time reactions to changes within our workplace has helped drive pushback to undesired policies and also increase engagement of co-workers from seeing our peers wrestling with similar feelings/concerns, as they are happening.

Cons:

As a user of a couple survery's that were sent to me from partner agency's - outside of my organization (which I tried to respond to while using my work computer & email) I could not tell if my response had been submitted at the end of the survey. One was to register for a training and the last page of the survey monkey registration questions was very confusing as to whether my information had been processed successfully and if I was in fact done with the registration form. I tried to re-enter the information multiple times but each time ended at the same spot. The page included a header on how to create your own survey monkey product but did not direct me on my status or next required steps. I had a very similar experience when presented with an employee feedback survey from a community based organization and I still don't know whether my survey responses were included in that analysis of work satisfaction!

SurveyMonkey Helps Us Perform at our best

Pros:

We use surveymonkey internally and externally. We get the opinions and interests of our customers to use them at our best discretion, and it allows us to do schedule, make informed purchases and work with speed because we have that information at our fingertips.

Cons:

I have not come across any feature that I dislike about it. It gives us exactly what we need and has not had any glitches.

Comments: SurveyMonkey is our go-to app for creating feedback surveys for our end users & also to gain insights from within the organization. The survey builder is easy to use & requires no coding knowledge. We have so many templates available for customization & use. Surveys can be branded with our logos & tags, an all round great product that meets our needs.

Pros:

-SurveyMoneky easily integrates with other applications like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom & more.-There are several templates available for different categories.-SurveyMonkey has a built in analytics dashboard that generates data visualization based on the published surveys.-Recently, they rolled out SurveyMonkey Genius which is an AI that helps us with quick suggestions & readymade questions while creating our surveys.

Cons:

Free version is limited and not suitable for organizations.Too many emails from their customer support for upsell & features updates.

Terrible Subscription

Comments: Terrible. I will never recommend this to anyone. Especially since you can online surveys for free. This platform serves no purpose in my mind other than tricking people into buying a subscription.

Pros:

I didn’t find survey monkey useful at all. I used it one time for a survey during my subscription and realized it was not worth my money. I requested a refund after a one time use and was told no. I paid $408 dollars to use this platform one time.

Cons:

The fact that the support team was so unreasonable after clearly being able to see that I did use the platform and still denied my request for a refund.

The Most User Friendly Survey Platform!

Comments: Survey Monkey is a game changer! It allows you to make fun, effective surveys for your clients including customer satisfaction surveys. It's super easy to use and they have amazing templates, tools and resources to help you along the way. We also love creating surveys to help us gather feedback from our internal team!

Pros:

Survey Monkey allows us to customize our questions allowing us to obtain only the most important information from our clients for our business needs. This allows us to make the survey sleek, user friendly, efficient and effective! We love the beta version and having the option to make the surveys engaging and enjoyable to fill out!

Cons:

We have been loving the features so far! We are so happy they came out with the Beta version. It allowed us to customize more freely then the regular templates, and it's just what we needed!

Superb Features!

Pros:

Being able to collaborate in real-time on survey projects, allowing team members to work simultaneously, make edits, and provide feedback. This feature enhances productivity and collaboration efficiency.

Cons:

Advanced Question and Page Branching is not a feature we have used in class.
