Great for business growth

Comments: Ease of use is awesome and the Integration with Omnitracs and EFS Fuel System is a plus

Pros:

This software has allowed our business to grow and fluctuate with the company needs. Also it enabled our employees to work from home when needed. Great for asset building trucking companies such as ours.

Actually have no complaints. This software has everything I need

Comments: It is a great experience overall, the software works great, support is always around when needed.

Pros:

We really enjoy all in one platform, dispatch and accounting, also security which is now essential now days.

Cons:

I just wish there is more ways for dispatchers and customers to interact, there are a lot of improvement on the customer portal that can be achieved also on dispatch communication that can make it easy to trace and track.

Not a Great Product, Get Anything Else

Pros:

It served its purpose before we transitioned to a better product.

Cons:

- Slow - Crashed a lot - Could not import excel documents - Zero controls

Alternatives Considered: Agility CMS

Reasons for Switching to PCS TMS: We eventually switched to Agility and got off PCS

good in some aspects, but more of a one size fits all program.

Comments: Program has some good features, its often slow and takes more steps than it should to get to what im looking to do. Would be helpful if information was easier to access. for example: all information for a driver should be accessible from one place. Drivers compliance cannot be seen except under fleet tab. All drivers information should be accessible from one location point. instead of certain information being only avilable under one tab or area.

Pros:

There is nothing that stands out as better or preferable over other systems.

Cons:

Lack of custom reporting. Lack of customization to meet customer needs.

Comments: it is good enough to not leave but has its frustrations in reporting and searchability

I like that accounting module is included with dispatch

some reports are not accurate and tough getting solution

Mediocre at best

Comments: mediocre search options. redundant prompts to simply dispatch a load.

Pros:

It works? it is a TMS system, that opens and closes.

Cons:

Close out of the load when you click off of it. what is the advantage of keeping a person locked in a load when they click off? also, why when building a load, does it not allow you to do a location search based off of address while in it?

Comments: It works well but could be better, would like to see upgrades to features.

Pros:

fully integrated dispatch and accounting

Cons:

LTL doestn work well dispatch and load confirmations dont have all the info

PCS will get the job done.

Comments: Good, consistent, reliable overall experience.

Pros:

Practical, consistent, user easy to use, and gets the job done.

Cons:

The down time can be frustrating at times. Also, when putting in over 30 bills at a time, PCS forces me to close the software and log back in to continue.

Comments: My overall experience with PCS is 8 out of 10. PCS has a dynamic Cloud-based platform, integrates well with other internal systems and PCS’s scalability to cater to all company sizes and industries.

•At times, the time to execute from A to Z

This Software has been a great addition to our growth.

Comments: This software is definitely a substantial help to my daily tasks.

There are multiple times where the software simply logs us off without warning while we are in the middle of an entry

Comments: I use every day for 5-day work week its ease of using make it a blessing to get your work done

The easy of account payable and account receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and the tax information such as 1099's and W2 printing and filing the tax form electronic

Cons:

The vacation schedule doesn't notify you when I person request vacation, payroll batch can't be redated you must undo everything if you have a wrong date on the batch and redo it all

PCS for PDM Transportation

Comments: Very good, it has made us more efficiant.

Pros:

The integration of both, Trucking dispatch, with accounting, safety, now mobile Express os very handy.

Cons:

We can't reconcile credit card statments, like we can a checking account, or like we can reconcile, cc with Quickbooks.

Alternatives Considered: TMWXD and QualCon

Reasons for Choosing PCS TMS: We, need it to outometa our billing process more. We need it to bill faster, more efficiantly.

Switched From: QuickBooks Enterprise

Reasons for Switching to PCS TMS: Costbenefit, we are from the Atroad era, this company was bought out by PCS, later on. Atroad was very afortable then.

PCS

Comments: It has helped us a lot in some ways but could be so much greater if they worked with their customers more to see what exactly we need from their software.

Pros:

The elimination of paperwork and how quick we are able to invoice now.

Cons:

The pricing structure to add one more user. You have to pay a setup fee an a HUGE additional price increase to go to the next level for just one more log in. They are not familiar with liquid bulk and what we need legally in our commodity description. Still have not resolved our QB's integration issue... going on over a year. Always get told waiting on the developer. A lot of turnover.

Alternatives Considered: TMW.Suite

Reasons for Choosing PCS TMS: Service, Cost. McLeod will nickel and dime you for every issue they create themselves.

Switched From: LoadMaster

Reasons for Switching to PCS TMS: Ultimately came down to the cost. We went with PCS because of the monthly rate - however that monthly rate has increased since on boarding with no additional services in what we are getting.

PCS Software team is on it!

Comments: It's been great, they are very knowledgeable about the use of the system and everything in it has a purpose.

Pros:

I feel like the PCS team is committed to making their dispatch system the best one out there

Cons:

There's a lot of good features and options in the works but not rolled out yet.

Comments: Overall experience is pretty good, design of the software should be enhanced and updated

Comments: I would rate PCS a 6-7 out of 10 compared to all the TMS I have used in my 15+ years.

Pros:

We like the mobility of the TMS but the labeling and corkiness is sometimes ineffective.

Cons:

Flow and Color ability, some verbiage of certain items as well.

The best TMS in the industry.

Comments: Fantastic. It's the one tool that we can't do our business without.

Pros:

The simplicity and the fact that is extremely user friendly. It encompasses everything that we need in the trucking and brokerage business.

Cons:

The help menu. The videos and the training materials are good but I'd like to see more details, specifically how to create reports.

Comments: I first utilized PCS 20 years ago, when PCS was on a local server. It has grown a lot, and continues to improve, this is the reason as I have changed companies in my career, but always have selected PCS as our TMS software.

Pros:

Love how the accounting is integrated all together, also how PCS has different partners. Especially that there are continued up dates in PCS

Cons:

I would think the reporting, and some fields for tracking information. Its manageable when we were smaller, not so much now that we are larger. Also working with different platforms, it seems more customers are wanting to integrate data.

Alternatives Considered: Crown Freight Manager

Reasons for Switching to PCS TMS: The accounting in PCS was more streamlined.

Easy to use for dispatch and drivers, easy from a drivers standpoint

Comments: over all it works and is easy to use, never goes down.

Pros:

I use PCS as a recruiter/ HR standpoint And find it easy to use and teach new employees how to use.

Cons:

I wish it had better reporting functions,

TMS Software

Comments: Overall a great and user friendly software

Pros:

Very user friendly, The Dispatch side works great. An upgrade would be to be able to implementing VINS for car hauling freight.

Cons:

Cant track VINS. We use for our car hauling company. We need to be able to scan and track VINS

Comments: All in all convenient or maybe I just got used to it.

Once in a while there are problem with system, and I cannot do anything without and have to wait for technical support to fix the issue, meanwhile I am losing time, Also about duplicate loads, I wish it would notify that load is duplicate not only when it is in dispatched status but when one of them is already arrived and invoiced. It would save so much time and money

Comments: Satisfied. Customer service is great, if only they can role out new stuff faster, and it should work better.

Pros:

First off, that it has the full accounting module. Easy to use, and simple to train others on the team.

Missing some key features, and integrations are not 100%
