One of the best decisions our community has made
It was easy to migrate from our antiquated, and expensive system over to Communal's modern and easy to navigate platform. The features on Communal were built for our needs and functioned how we needed them to. If there was something that needed tweaking, their support team listened and made it better. Their support was amazing and we are very, very happy with using Communal.
The only thing that I can say if I absolutely had to, is the invoicing module could be improved to include cloning and templates for recurring rental clients. It would also be great if the email module could be improved a little so that we could migrate from Mailchimp and integrate all of our communications through Communal.
Communal Membership Software
Comments: We are finally able to communicate with our members, run booking software and a program payment platform all in one application. The cost to our Community is very reasonable and the team is fantastic to work with.
This software is a very cost effective way to stay in touch with your members as well as managing all our programs, events and facility rentals! This is a fantastic CRM that has been developed in conjunction with actual non-profit community groups and associations. They listened and took all of our varied issues and created Communal.
There is honestly nothing that I am unhappy with. The team at Communal make adjustments as issues arise, so if you are not pleased with something today, and it can be tweaked or changed they will.
Comments: Understand that the software is being built still, happy to be able to provide input along the way

lots of glitches, some functions appear to work, but the do not actually (such as moving a booking to another location)
Communal is a great software
Comments: The communal team is always willing to help and make the user experience better. Communal team was always available to answer any questions and give great support to their clients.
What I liked the most is that it’s user friendly. Easy to learn and work with. I really enjoyed using this software as it is very customizable.
I have not come across any problems with this software, if I need to add any custom features to this software, communal team is always happy to make those changes and understand the needs of their clients.
Communal - Community Association Management Software
Comments: My experience with the software and the team has been overwhelmingly positive. We switched from another provider and the difference was night-and-day! Communal did a fantastic job onboarding us and helping us migrate our data from one system to another. They are also very responsive for customer support. The integrated payment feature is nice and makes it so that we don't have to worry about managing that ourselves. I would strongly recommend this product to other Community Associations.
The software is very easy to use and the team has been great to work with. The built-in workflows make it easy to organize memberships, create surveys, create events, and engage with our members. We had a few customization requests and the Communal team was very willing to work with us to make them happen. I love that the software is cloud based and easy to use.
As a new product there are a still a few small imperfections. Sometimes things take longer to load than I would like, or the menus aren't quite optimized.
Comments: Communal has been amazing for our community association as it is finally bringing our various software pieces together. Rather than having separate programs and spreadsheets for volunteers, members, invoicing, rental groups, program registrations, etc, it's now all in one place. Everything has been easy with Communal and we are very grateful for their service.
Communal is user-friendly for all of our staff. We use it for a variety of features (membership management, program registrations, online invoicing, volunteer tracking, etc). Communal continues to update their software and provide new features that are relevant to community and non-profit groups, and the customer service is prompt and friendly.
We have not yet encountered any dislikes.
Right for Community Associations and beyond!
How it fits so many Community Associations and other organizations, that are different but Communal has necessary core features that are overlapping across all of us! What a great team of professionals put it together, by going to the organizations in need, listening of what they were missing and bringing this great product to life.
Once in a while there will few little things come up but we figure it out together with Communal. Everything else we have works great!
