Because of this our studio was able to have a seamless transition from Mindbody to Arketa. Not to mention the software is easy to use, especially from the client side.
The only thing I feel like I’m missing is getting an email when a client cancels an in studio class reservation.

FINALLY found my perfect fit for studio software!
Comments: I've been around the fitness block a few times. I've been teaching group ex classes since they were called "aerobics", and I've had my own fitness business for 19 years. I was with MindBody for 10 years and then Mariana Tek for the past 3 years. While both are well established companies, Arketa has so much more to offer! To start, the onboarding process was top notch. [sensitive content hidden] was my specialist and he was amazing! We went through everything in weekly zoom meetings, so that when it was time for my software to go "live" I was more than ready. I feel that I finally found a software that has everything my brick & mortar studio + my online business need.
Pros:
Software looks great and it's easy to customize to your brand. I have EVERYTHING that I need is one spot, instead of paying 3 different providers (software/email/app/etc) which gets overwhelming and expensive. I've had to contact customer service a few times since I'm new(ish) to Arketa, and they've quickly resolved any questions that I've encountered. I LOVE my branded app and so do my members!
Cons:
I haven't had any problems with my software or app.

Comments: Great! Honestly I can say my experience has been 10/10 -- there's always a glitch here or there that you would expect to run into with converting software... but seeing the people behind the scenes and building relationships with these individuals goes and has gone a very long way. The branded app has elevated my clients' experience in all ways of PL. I'm super grateful to be part of all of Arketa's growth as a business but also to other studios! I've had the opportunity to meet and chat with studio [sensitive content hidden] on more than one occasion to reiterate my level of satisfaction with the software and how it impacts me/PL. I love to give love and support to those who have done the same for me!
Pros:
Building real relationships with genuine people makes all the difference! I deeply value the support I receive and the opportunity to know exactly who I’m collaborating with on a software team. It’s incredible how much that personal connection positively impacts my business. Huge gratitude to the entire Arketa team for their dedication and partnership!
Cons:
-Not having Apple Pay, -No font selections on branded app -More style selection options on buttons in branded app (I love how you can round the buttons-- but I don't like how the same function rounds the preview boxes of promo cards and video thumbnails) -Linked Instagram -- it would be cool to be able to link instructors' instagram profiles to their bio info
Dishonest from the first phone call
Comments: This is a dishonest company. They knew they planned on adding additional costs to the processing company's fees. When brought up they agreed to waive them, but this would only be for 1 year, then we'd have to deal with their excessive charges. Their fees they tack on weren't brought up until we started to transfer over to their system. At that point we told them we had no interest in dealing with them. It also turns out that their processing company, stripe, has a reputation for dropping customers who don't align with their political views (eg Rumble, Parlor and others).
Pros:
There's nothing we saw in Arketa which was any better than any other CRM vendor.
Cons:
When they contacted us we told them we weren't interested in talking with any company until we went over processing fees. It's the only concern we have with our current CRM company, WellnessLiving. They assured us our rates would be lower with their processing company. However, what they do, unlike every other CRM company is tack on additional percentages to what the processing company charges, so any savings are evaporated. Their monthly fees are higher, but the overall cost would have been lower. They wasted my time and the time of my team members.

Love Arketa!!
Comments: I've been a member for a few years now and I love that they are always so genuinely interested in helping and looking for ways to expand the platform. The customer service is always 10/10.
Pros:
I love that Arketa is always working towards improvement. They are wonderful about welcoming feedback and it's been great to watch all of the changes over the years.
Cons:
Sometimes there's an update that I wish was already on the platform but Arketa is usually quick to implement those changes.
Features of Arketa are great.
Comments: I feel like I have learned a lot, but have not event come close to implementing all that is offered through Arketa.
Pros:
I like the variety of options they offer to help grow our business. From class sign ups to creating events, communities, and all the marketing options are great.
Cons:
I struggle with figuring out a lot of the technology pieces. Improved customer support (getting help when you are working on something versus waiting sometimes days to get a response would be helpful). I would even love to see options to get help one on one for ideas and support.

Cease and Desist
Comments: When I started using Arketa in July 2023, it was smooth sailing for the first 7 months or so. Their customer support was responsive and i didn't have any major issues with the platform. Then in March 2024 they migrated to a new dashboard and s**** hit the fan. The new dashboard was a big mess! Classes would disappear all the time, and new classes would randomly be added to the schedule without my doing so. I tried to run my studio like this for two months, but it wasn't sustainable. I migrated to Momence in June 2024. After I migrated to Momence I sent a formal request that our information be completely deleted from their platform in appliance to GDPR standards. It has been 4 months since that request and people are still able to book our classes on Arketa without my consent. I had to send them a Cease and Desist letter for false advertisement and violation GDPR.
Pros:
I chose Arketa because our yoga studio offers sliding scale pricing and the platform was able to acomodate that functionality.
Cons:
Platform was not functional and I am still working to get us off their website after cancelling 4 months ago.
Satisfied client
Comments: I’ve started with Arketa back in 2020, after a year I left not because I wasn’t satisfied, but because I was offered an app with live streaming and chat included. In 2023 I realized that I shouldn’t have left Arketa, and I had little to no control in my business. So I’ve returned and my stress is gone. I’m building everything for almost a year now.🩷
Pros:
The possibility to control everything and how easy is to make changes at anytime.
Cons:
I only miss the live streaming and having everything translated to Portuguese.

Comments: 10/10 would recommend. I am truly so happy we chose Arketa as our booking system and couldn't imagine going with any other company.
Pros:
How user friendly the system is especially for a new fitness studio owner.
Cons:
I wish I had a designated representative I could call at any given time, but that's just me being needy. They are super quick at responding over chat and I really have no complaints.
Helping me keep my business afloat!
Comments: I have been using Arketa for over three years now, they have supported me as I transitioned from an independent instructor to a full studio owner with a team of 16. They are quick to respond, friendly, always updating their software, and on the pulse with the trends and needs of fitness entrepreneurs. I am so grateful to be part of their community!

Fast service, so many tools for my studio, intuitive for business owners and instructors, clean appearance
Cons:
Because Arketa was a newer product when I signed on, there were some hiccups in the beginning, but they have quickly adapted to catch up with studio needs!
Be cautious
Comments: I would strongly advise you to be extremely cautious when proceeding with Arketa. From the beginning, I was sold a story by [sensitive content hidden] that had inaccurate and misleading promises about the level of support, initial start up, and customer service. The narrative was that Arketa was a smaller business and valued each customer. I was promised that I would have help bringing all my pertinent information over from my original operating system, Wellness Living, quickly and easily. In reality, this was always meant to be done by me or, I could choose to pay more on top of an already hefty monthly payment for my small business. At this time, I was tied into a 6 month contract in which, I paid in full because I could get a better rate. But, between selling my business, a move of our family of 6, some health setbacks and a change of direction, I had to cancel my contract. I requested some of the 6 month PIF payment back (I used less than 2 months of service), but I was told no. I accepted that. But then, I get an email after confirming the cancellation of my contract with Arketa, saying that I would be charged over $3000 for the next 6 months. I emailed right away and asked for this to be taken care of so that I wasn’t charged. Well, sure enough, I was charged over $3k and got declined when trying to use my credit card to purchase groceries. I was also charged an over draft fee because of this unexpected charge of over 3K which I am normally very careful to avoid. FINALLY, after over a month of emailing [sensitive content hidden], I was refunded but, not for the correct amount. Due to the exchange rate differential, I was refunded $217 less than what I was charged plus I had that overdraft fee on top of that. Now, I have been ghosted by [sensitive content hidden] and no one has acknowledged that I am still missing money. I understand that there was an exchange rate difference but, I do not feel like I should get punished for that since I sent two email reminders to please check that this would not happen. Because we have four kids and are just trying our best, this money goes along way with all the expenses that we are all facing. I am very disappointed that after 14 emails sent with kindness and patience, that I could not get a response on what was happening. Finally, after sharing this review, I received a response from Arketa Renewals with another promise of helping me out. I had hope that I was going to receive some customer service and get back the money I was owed. Nope. 3 additional emails were sent from me to Arketa- kindly requesting an update. It has been almost a month and I have once again been ghosted with absolutely no response at all. If you are thinking about using Arketa, ask lots of questions and know that, at end of the day, you are being sold to. My experience with Wellness Living customer service was much better and much more responsive. I know what it’s like to try to survive and thrive in this industry and, we all want to feel like our hard earned money is put to good use, serving us to increase our business. This experience, unfortunately, sent me in the opposite direction. Watch out for this company and the stories they sell.

The Customer Service was horrible. I have been ghosted for 2 months on getting overcharged.
Software for a small business
Comments: I have many years of experience working with booking & CRM software. I think overall the Arketa software is good for someone that does not have as much experience. It is fairly easy to navigate. I will say be sure to be clear about what you want the software to do. It is great for an on demand library, which is how it started. The set up has a fairly intensive onboarding process which means as a business having images, branding, marketing outlined prior to getting started is helpful. If someone is looking for an all in one software, this meets the brief.
Pros:
Areketa is in a constant state of improvement. The dev team looks as suggestions & tries to implement them to make functionality better
Cons:
RM needs more sorting/filtering options. At times there are glitches and bugs. The support team is quick to address these issues.

Above and beyond expectations
Comments: The team at Arketa has been exceptional, from our first intro call to all the setup calls we had it has gone without a hitch. All questions we had were promptly resolved and the team had amazing suggestions for the functionalities we were looking for. I've never felt dismissed and they were so patient in supporting us through the setup!
Pros:
Arketa ticked all the boxes (and more) when it came to the functionalities we needed for our yoga studio but if I had to pick just one it would be the user interface. After having an account, customers can make purchases with one click and they have an easy overview of all packages in their account.
Cons:
There isn't anything we like less about the system, so far it has been perfect for us.
My Amazing Experience with Arketa
Comments: My overall experience with Arketa has been exceptional. The software continually impresses with its frequent release of new features, keeping it at the forefront of technology. Whenever I have feature requests, the team is always so encouraging making me feel as though my business is important to them and that I am heard. I also appreciate the kind and responsive support team, who are always quick to assist with any issues. They are all so friendly!
Pros:
I love Arketa for its continuous innovation, with a steady stream of new features that help keep my business relevant. Their support team is incredibly kind and responsive, always ready to help with any issues. Additionally, Arketa offers impressive growth capabilities, allowing me to use the software to scale based on the needs of my business.
Cons:
I have no cons really, so I guess what I like least about Arketa is that while its frequent feature updates are generally beneficial, they can sometimes require a bit of adjustment and learning to fully integrate them into my workflow. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall value and innovation the software provides. As someone who is not tech savvy, they have so many FAQs and articles that assist me in understanding new features.
Still a lot to learn because there's so many great features! :)
Comments: Overall I am happy with it and just want more support with using the system as best as possible.
Pros:
I like the appearance and cleanness of the site. I also like the chat option for questions. I am still learning communities but am hoping to utilize them more as I learn about them.
Cons:
There seem to be a lot of glitches here and there. I wish that there were more weekly courses or videos to learn. I believe there was when I signed up but I learn by seeing and doing and not reading the articles so I feel like I'm always asking questions.

Arketa was recommended to me by my website designer and I went with it. I didnt know much about the website.

I must to say, it is one of the few times in my whole life that I took the time off my schedule to write th review about product I use> Arketa. Small business owner, started my company in January BUT in field of fitness since 2004 and used many different platforms. Since the beginning a had problems with this software: not loading successfully, updates are slow, bad integration. They don't have any intake forms that can be used immediately, which means you have to enter them manually and, in addition, you can not sent them separately to the customer. It is a pain BUT, I think the biggest problem that I had is customer service!! It took me week or in some cases two weeks to fix one problem! or to find out about intake forms I needed for my client, or I needed a contract to have sent it to me. At this moment, It has been a week now and I am waiting to my request of contract ! They still have not sent one to me. They keep sending me: "Thank you for my patience" email, and I dont have patiance for them. There are no available phone numbers, no direct email to customer services unless you buy the premium package. really? being value customer in oversaturated market with software is not enough?

I signed up with them in 2021. They were amazing. Easy to access, helped with on boarding and trouble shooting and their subscriber events were great.
Over time I have referred several people.
Since the change in name and I safe assume personnel I would not recommend them ' unless you are tech savvy and have your own website.

Poor customer service. They are friendly but friendly is not getting the job done. When they were Sutra they designed my website. That was a HUGE plus. However getting assistance with my website or building out a community (which they strongly promote when doing challenges) could take 5 weeks to 6 months to get resolved. Currently I have been waiting 4 months to get an answer to why my web pop up disappeared and getting it updated.
It started out great, but that all changed
Comments: It started out great, but by the end it was horrible. If customer service was better and the re-occurring tech issues I had for 6 months were fixed quickly, I would’ve stayed; however, this was not the case. If you are looking for a platform with great customer service that fixes your issues quickly, I do not recommend. I give it 3 stars because the first 2 1/2 years were great.
Pros:
In the beginning, Arketa worked great. Their customer service response times were amazing and they were really helpful. The software worked well and it was easy to use.
Cons:
When they continued to grow and expand on their features, the customer service lacked majorly. Rather than helping you with a problem, they would point you towards pre-written help documents that weren’t relevant. After waiting for months for critical components in my software to be fixed without much update, I had to finally make the decision to move to a different platform.
Easy for my Clients and Me to Use -- And its pretty!
Comments: Arketa has been a game-changer for my Pilates Business. Everything I need—booking, marketing and lead management, mobile app—is all in one place, making my day-to-day operations so much smoother. The mobile app is the best I have seen. The software is customizable to perfectly match the website I had before coming on board, so it was an easy transition. Once I switched to Arketa for marketing and lead management I was able to do more to drive my revenue. My clients love how user-friendly it is, which has made it easy for them to sign-up.
Pros:
Everything is in one place, my booking, marketing, custom mobile app and lead management. The software embeds match the website that I had prior to coming on board. Mobile App is super customizable and all in my brand. It is easy for my clients to use.
Cons:
There isn't much I don't like. Sometimes I don't find out about new features as fast as I would like.

Comments: Fantastic! I loved meeting everyone. I felt seen and heard by everyone we've met and like our business really matters to the team and the company. Arketa feels like we got a whole community of friends and support when we signed up. Other software companies seemed like talking heads with zero interest in our dream and without any passion towards the fitness industry. Just sales bro's bullsh*ting about powerful tech. With Arketa it felt like something just clicked. This is a company I want to do business with. From the beginning there was mutual respect and immediate connection. Arketa is truly a special company and I am so honored to be a part of it!!
Pros:
I loved their attention to detail, their energy and that everyone we spoke to was a practitioner of Yoga or Pilates. [sensitive content hidden] and [sensitive content hidden] we both amazing. [sensitive content hidden] has been super helpful during our onboarding process. I feel like everyone we have met and or worked with we have connected with.

There are some bugs in features that we ended up solving ourself. I think as a new software this always happens, I just hope it continues to get better as we move along with journey with Arketa.

Arketa has transformed my studio and my life
Comments: It has made a remarkable change in my life. It's freed up a lot of time and it's easier now for me to stay on top of accounts receivable. Arketa has enabled me to be a more efficient manager.
Pros:
Using Arketa has made my life so much easier. I'm saving so much time on administrative tasks, client management and managing my team. The software is well thought out and feels simple. It was learnable and the customer support was very helpful and available.
Cons:
It would be helpful have more continuing education about the software in the dashboard.
Would recommend for a services based company
Pros:
I like that I am able to merge all of my services and retail products into one system. I also love the fact that they are also my credit card processor, so it saves a lot of time and space to keep everything housed under one system!
Cons:
It can be a little difficult to navigate sometimes, but there are always support people ready to help!

The lack of customer service and availability to help navigate issues was ultimately what led me to cancel my membership. They offer no phone consults which would have been fine if I recieved faster chat reponses but it would take several hours-24 hours to get a response to questions on the regular. This is perhaps becuase I am PST and their office would close before I could get an answer to my queries. becuase of the price, I expected better support
Better than any other fitness management product. Period.
Comments: From onboarding and uploading client info, videos, etc. the whole process has been flawless. The way Arketa integrates with websites makes it easy to implement. It looks good and it works.
Pros:
Onboarding and implementing Arketa is as easy as it can possibly be. The interfaces are all very straightforward. Their support people are prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Cons:
There isn't anything about Arketa to dislike. It's terrific.
