They sell a perfect service

Pros:

I've tested different services before knowing Scrapingbee and haven't changed it since. Scraping responses have very low response times (maybe the lowest among all others).The API service has never known degradation or processing delays since I've been using it. Their usage documentation is very simple, examples are offered in any programming language, you just need to add to your code what the ScrapingBee request builder prepares.I just had one problem that was resolved in less than 24h thanks to the fantastic assistance from [sensitive content hidden]. Support responds almost instantaneously and also helps you formulate any more complex scraping requests.With their help, in fact, they don't abandon you but they suggest checks and JS codes capable of truly extracting any type of data, even the most difficult.

Cons:

There is nothing that I can suggest to increase the quality of service, it's the best in entire market.

Good Speed. Low Error Rate.

Comments: Better than webscrapingapi. So far so good. Price-Value is decent.

Cons:

Only 5 simultaneous requests. Ideally i want about 100 simultaneous requests. Webscrapingapi used to have 20 simultaneous requests, but their speed and performance was bad.

Great Scraper with filtering features

Comments: Very good! Makes my life easier by scraping content on our projects.

Pros:

It’s reliable and we have filters to do searches from elements inside a page scrap, this is the best feature so far. Their premium proxy is also very good and makes that all scrap don’t get caught by any captcha or something like.

Cons:

Maybe if we have more plans options it would be great.

Best Scraper out there

Pros:

API works consistently and efficiently across many domains.

Cons:

Their stealth proxies are amazing but quite pricey!

Rotating Proxies That Work!

Pros:

I set up ScrapingBee to rotate proxy IP addresses when scraping tens of thousands of pages from search engines and eCommerce websites. These are typically more difficult to scrape, but even the cheaper rotating proxies on ScrapingBee have rarely been blocked. If they are (occasionally) blocked, I only pay for successful returns, so I have not encountered any downside.

Cons:

I have only had one issue where ScrapingBee accidentally assigned proxies from the wrong country, rendering my html in a different language. But this was a brief issue and has never happened since.

Easy to use, fast customer support

Comments: Good. When I got stuck, customer support solved it within 5 min.

Pros:

It does the thing I want it to do -- It scrapes web pages.

Cons:

I don't think it can scrape PDFs which I encounter quite a bit with my scraping.

ScrapingBee Review

Comments: My overall experience with ScrapingBee has been positive. Pros:

What I liked most about ScrapingBee is its simplicity and effectiveness. The API handles the complexities of web scraping, such as managing headless browsers and dealing with JavaScript-rendered content, which makes it very user-friendly. Additionally, ScrapingBee's speed and reliability, even when scraping heavy or dynamic websites, are commendable.

Cons:

What I liked least about ScrapingBee is the cost. While the service is powerful and feature-rich, the pricing can be a bit high for smaller projects or individual developers. Another downside is that the free tier is quite limited, making it difficult to fully evaluate the service without committing to a paid plan. There were also occasional issues with scraping particularly complex websites, though these were relatively rare.

Powerful product, simple to use, clear docs

Comments: My first day I realized that this is the best I've been able to find so far and I don't even need anything extra, so I got the subscription instantly. Very satisfied so far.

Pros:

Simplicity of using the API and extremely clear docs.

Cons:

I think the UI could be more serious. My first impression not very professional. I don't know, probably it's just my opinion.

Simple and powerfull scrapinh tool

Comments: Devoping a python project that hinges of scraping , scrapingbee was one tool I tested and it's amazingly simple

free tier has run out before I could finish my development

SaaS for developers as it should be

Comments: Superb product, genuinely one of the best SaaS tools I've used. Does exactly as described, has worked flawlessly for my first few 1000 requests, and is well documented.

Pros:

Excellent API documentation, including Ruby examples. Highly reliable service. Dashboard provides valuable insights immediately and in real time.

Cons:

Very, very minor point - but docs could be clearer about what the ScrapingBee requests look like to the origin server.

An effective, easy to use web scraping proxy service

Comments: I had a scraping project that used many of the features in ScrapingBee. I wanted to scrape about 600k .json documents from a public API. I also wanted screenshots of those pages, and to extract various data from the corresponding HTML pages. ScrapingBee offered good options for all the cases. Finally, I wanted to get the Instagram follower counts for about 200k Instagram accounts. Instagram is super aggressive about blocking, but by using premium proxies, and resetting the session on each call, I was successful here too. That site I was scraping does block you after several thousand pages from a single IP, so I needed to use a proxy service. I never got blocked once I was using Scraping bee.

Pros:

It has a well-documented, fairly easy-to-use API that covers a whole range of scraping situations. (I talk more about that below). You can choose Javascript rendering or not, residential or data-center proxies, screenshots, etc. I was never blocked once during my scraping. They are a small, responsive startup. I did run into a reproducible bug with their data extraction API, but they clearly made it a priority and had a new release fixing the problem the very next day. (Since they're in France, time zones worked out well and that was really first thing the next morning for me.)

Cons:

It would have been nice to be able to get a screenshot and the data on the page at the same time. At present, you can only get one or the other, so I had to run it twice.

Scraping Bee - The Perfect Black Box Solution

Comments: We were looking for a Black Box solution that we could easily intergrate with our internet data collection system. We wanted to be able to send our HTTP requests to a service that could handle all of the security issues related to web data extraction, and then return the raw results of the HTTP request. The service has to be virtually invisable to our processes. Scraping Bee is the perfect Black Box solution. In addition to the ease of implementation we needed a highly reliable service with great technical support. Our data collection processes run 24/7 and Scraping Bee is a great partner. When a target site puts up significant challenges the support team always finds a soltion to keep us running.

Pros:

Scraping Bee is reliable and easily integrates with our systems. Great technical support!

Cons:

We have found no Cons with Scraping Bee.

ScrapingBee Customer Service Rocks!

Comments: The customer service is exceptional!

Pros:

The website I scrape data from is constantly changing and hard to scrape the actual data, but ScrapingBee works. The customer service responds quickly and resolves the issue, usually, within the day.

Cons:

It is more expensive than the other service we use, but that service was not, immediately, able to scrape the website we wanted scraped.

Reliable API for scraping

Pros:

Unlike trying to manually scrape websites yourself, ScrapingBee already comes set up to handle all of the issues you're likely to encounter - robot detection etc. Their simple to use API make integrating really easy.

Cons:

At this stage there's nothing I don't like about ScrapingBee.

Excellent tool for small startups!

Comments: Love this product. Highly recommend it as a great scraping service.

Pros:

The documentation is exceptional. It's easy to get up and running with ScrapingBee. I also love the reliability of the service. It can retrieve data from almost any site and the API has very high availability.

Cons:

Nothing. I used to be bummed about the limit on concurrent requests for the lowest pricing tier (1) but now it has increased to a level that works great at my scale (5).

A great tool that saves us time

Comments: We love it and it's a major part of our tech stack

Pros:

IT does exactly what we want it to do and saves months of dev time dealing with generic issues (stealth proxy etc.)

Cons:

The 400 error responses could be more descriptive

Amazing Scraping Software

Comments: Phenomenal company with a steller product.

Pros:

ScrapingBee is by far the best scraping api out there. Before deciding upon ScrapingBee I tried out 10+ other companies before eventually deciding (correctly!) to go with ScrapingBee. ScrapingBee is by far the best documented, easiest to use, and cheapest scraping api out there.

Cons:

Occasionally I get blocked on queries(<2% of the time). I just automatically try again when this happens, but this rate could always be lower.

Great Solution for Web Scraping

Comments: Very happy with the Scrapping Bee for my use case. The support was also terrific.

Pros:

ScrapingBee offers an easy to use, well documented API that provides proxy services and more. I use it extensively for web scrapping. Its premium proxy enabled me to hit websites with high levels of protection such as social media sites

Cons:

It would be nice if the API responses were a bit faster. Would also love an pay as you go option instead of subscription

Awesome and simple tool via API

Comments: I started to get involved in scraping websites but didn't have the time to set up everything from zero (having the possibilities though), I've tried different services but this was the fastest to integrate.

Pros:

The possibility to test in advance and the integration via API, by far best services out of 4 I've tried

So far nothing notable, awesome tool for scraping
